Circle K Customer service/honesty/treating customers fairly

Date/time of incident 19 mar 2021 approximately 1220 pm

I entered the circle k on Washington road in Evans GA. I immediately went to the back of the store to get a fountain drink, while there I happened to notice a lady at the back of the store scratching lottery tickets.

I filled my drink and got in the checkout line, as I was standing in line waiting to walk to the register, the lady came to the front of the store. I was next in line and proceeded to the register. The lady said "that is the lottery line" and I replied it's a register for checking out. I put my drink on the counter and proceeded to ask for a tobacco product. At this time the clerk, a tall young man with a beard that stuck out from behind his mask, told me "she was here first"... I replied "no, she wasn't, I watched her walk up here!" he again stated that she was there first... I put my drink down on the counter and told him to have a good day and I walked out.

Make it right! This was wrong, if the clerk had told the female customer to come back to the front of the line and that he would take care of her because of an error or problem, that would have been fine. But to have her come back to the front of the line simply because she had purchased scratch off lottery tickets and she wants to cash them in? She can wait in line like everybody else.

Desired outcome: Either a policy or some type of sign that says all lottery players go to the front of the line regardless of who else is in line or some type of policy enforcement. Treat all customers the same! Or teach your clerks customer service!

Circle K Employee threw out my daughters frosty on purpose

The guy who through my daughters drink in the trash (wasting company money) is about 6'3 300 lbs with long hair. He said " just like the military you have to follow orders and then took my daughters frosty and threw it in the trash. (I am a veteran.) Then told me to get out. The gentleman who checked out before me with the lady didn't have a mask and was treated fine at check out.

Circle K Service

Zip 32703 or 32712. Main st, apopka, florida. Girl told my son he had to wait because "she was on break"... also a young man was in the store with the girl that was not an employee. 3/09/21. Very rude. Is this the kind of customer service provided by this store? I go there all the time & never have any problems until recently. Not very happy with the service at this moment.

Circle K Price gouging and failure to correct

MY NAME IS Brian Briese and one of your stores is Gouging customers, through refusal to fix discount code on Marlboro cigarettes...
Waco Texas store @ 19th and Lake Shore Drive ... cigarette discount key does not work, but works fine at all other locations... so the Patrons at this location including myself are being ripped off 2.00 per 2 pack purchase...

Currently you owe me 120.00 for overcharges this month alone...
I can be reached @ [protected] to discuss a resolution to this situation.

Desired outcome: Fix the damn problem a month or more now is ridiculous

Circle K Employee treatment

I was a employee at a Circle K in Leesburg Florida when I got the job I never had an interview so not very much information was told to me in regards of what I'd be doing on the job, well I was put on third shift they refused to let me change it. I am 18 years old and they trained me for about two or three days hands-on in the store before they left me by myself overnight I worked hard to try to get everything done and it was very difficult with very little training since I had been there I had been felt up by a customer and when I told a manager they ignored it because they thought that that customer was a nice person, I also had other incidents. one day I was opening the peanut cans and went to throw one away in which it sliced my hand open and I was bleeding quite a bit, I bled from the bathroom all the way outside into the parking lot and it wasn't a couple drips here and there it was puddles of blood, I called my manager and she showed up they originally told me that I was going to have to leave to go get stitches well then after calling around and finding out she had no one to take over for me she then changed her mind and said there was no need for me to go to get stitches and then her and her two random friends of hers, no gloves or anything wrapped my hand up and a Band-Aid and gauze and put a glove over it and then proceeded to send me back to work and then even asked me to stay another two hours and try to bribe me with a $20 gift card to continue to work as I'm feeling dizzy so instead of sending me home they just gave me a banana and orange juice and acted like nothing happened I even had to mop up all my own blood and then continue to put the food out also come to find out no report was made. And it doesn't just in there couple days after this incident I was feeling very sick I was even throwing up I called into work two or three hours before shift so they would have enough time to find somebody to take over, the manager had told me that there was no one to take over and that I needed to come in I then asked her because of the Covid situation how I was supposed to put food out when I'm sick she told me just to put it out and cook it anyways, I had to work an eight hour shift tired barely able to hold my head up i'm very sick i'm by myself on top of that. Then that following week someone was finally with me overnight and it was assistant manager and to just explain the situation a little bit I had surgery on my foot and I have a metal rod in it and which sometimes when I overdo lifting or lots of walking and running around it tends to move around and my foot swells and bruises, well I alerted the manager because I felt my foot starting to swell she made me finish my shift as I am in tears and crying and then That same day I worked at night I had text her and told her I couldn't come in because my foot was swollen and bruised and I even sent her the pictures she then said she needed me to come in and I refused well the next morning she text me and told me she wanted me to come in to cover someone else's shift remind you guys no one covered my shift when I was sick but not only did she want me to cover and work that other person shift she also wanted me to work my eight hour shift in the same day while my foot is still swollen and bruised. Finally that same day she asked me to work a double shift I quit and then even after I said I quit she still try to make me come in and work but I quit means I quit. And it's sad to say all this still isn't the end of what all happened there while I was working...

Circle K Car wash damages

01/10/2021 my daughter used a carwash and the carwash malfunction and it damage my car. Manager at the store call me and told me not to worry the claims department will be contacting me with then 2 or 3 day and that they will take care of damages.. That's why I did not file a police report.. It took me about 3 week to get of hold of claims department. I was told by a. Crystal hennings.. That they were doing on investigation and she will let me know. It's been 2 months and phone call after phone call. Email after email and so far no luck. For future carwash costumers do not use. Circle k. Owned carwash if you don't want headache

Circle K Long wait time

Every time I go into this store (2706458) it never fails that I have to plan on waiting in line for over 20 minutes at times. I normally go into this store between 2:00p and 5:30pm but the assistant manager never assist with the lines and she is always doing something other than helping on the register. the line will be halfway out the door before she may help. I went into this store on Monday at around 5:45p and again in the store for 15 to 20 mins waiting in line when I get to the register the cashier was texting on her phone while I am waiting to my change, I was on my lunch break so I ended up leaving my change and walking out. I feel it is absolutely absurd that I would rather drive 5 miles out the way to another location than right here at my house. I know that every store has an IC3 policy and this store does not utilize it at all!

Desired outcome: please get on them about consideration of customers time

Circle K A drink return

I when to Circle K on 1703 N New Braunfels Ave, San Antonio, TX 78208 and purchased a xLarge hot chocolate drink. As I was driving on the highway I took a sip to find out there was no flavor. Oh well instead I decided to take the next exit to to next Circle K on 1171 AT&T Center Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78219 I walked in and told the cashier guy what happened and if I could get a refill. He say in these words. You need to take it up with them. I told him really it's just a coffee. I don't know what to tell you he said. So as I left the coffee was in my right hand and the left door was the only door unlocked. I pushed the door with my left hand and as I left my right hand hit the right door that was locked which knocked the coffee out of my hand. Unfortunately I don't have the stuff to clean it up which I would of. Then the guy chases me out and said in a threading voice loud "Really, Really your going to grow that. I said it was an accident which in return he said get the F$&@ out of here. If it was the guy I was in my earlier days that would have not have went well. This is why I walked away. Now if he would have said this to someone else this could of escalated real quick. Especially in that neighborhood. Second he should not be acting like this. I will definitely repost this in other sites.

Desired outcome: I would have like to get another drink. I had to go further to get another drink

Circle K Refused to honor free item from circle k sweepstakes

Today 02/18/2021 at around 430pm, I visited the new Circle K store in Calhoun Georgia, located on Redbud Road. I had won a free bag of chips and .15 cents of gas in your current instant win game. I have played this instant win game each time over the past 2-3 years. I have never had any problem and have always been happy with my service at the Circle K's located in my area. This was the first time I had been in this store since it is new and just opened recently. I was told by the cashier that they don't accept coupons. I explained it was not a coupon but an instant win game sponsored by Circle K. She once again told me they do not participate. I had her ask someone else and he also said they don't participate. I was also making a purchase of gas and drinks. I left my purchase and told them to keep it. I will not be back to this store. Very dissatisfied.

Circle K Cashier not taking my id... Im 27

I walked into Circle K this am on daisy mountain in Anthem AZ, and went to buy dog food and a juul e cigarette. Mind you, I buy alcohol at this circle k with my same id every week! The lady was a taller lady, dirty blonde hair. Just came in from smoking, did not wash her hands and then took my items. I asked for the Juul she goes "what" with an attitude. She then scans my ID twice, and after that looks at me and goes! I can't take this ID and throws it back on the counter. This woman was very rude, did not have a name tag on, and honestly she always has an attitude when I go to circle k. And I am tere regularly as I live right around the corner!

Desired outcome: Would like the people in the store to be trained on how to use and deal woth purchases that involve IDs!

Circle K customer service

Every week I go into Circle K 7456 to buy Copenhagen Long Cut Wintergreen and Salem Gold Kings. It's been three weeks since I have been able to purchase Salem Gold Kings and it's a hit and miss on the Copenhagen Long Cut Winter Green. Why can't this store maintain at least these two items on a regular basis. This does not include all the holes in the shelves this store has to include not having hot dogs available at 2pm.

Circle K Punished for something someone else allegedly did

I went into the Circle K at Grant & Forbes in Tucson AZ about 3 months ago like I did every single day (I've been staying right next door at the hotel so it was super convenient) & the clerk at the counter yelled "you need to leave" & walked around the counter towards me. I looked over & asked if he was talking to me. He said "ya you can't be in here" I asked why & he told me because the guy I was with the last time I was there was seen in the parking lot of that Circle K selling liquor to minors. This did NOT happen the time that I was with him. I said "If he did do that I didn't know about it & I'm not with him" He said the guy should have told me that he did that & that he wasn't allowed there anymore & that I wasn't either. I told him I don't even talk to that guy I told you I'm not with him & how do you know they were minors anyway if he did do that. He told me they looked under age & it didn't matter if I talk to him or what I need to get out! I said "WOW This is so F'ing stupid" He ran behind the counter & said he was calling the cops. I told him to go ahead & waste everyone's time when I'm already leaving. There was other customers in the store I was so humiliated! The worst part is that they guy who supposedly sold the alcohol STILL goes into that Circle K! & no one tells him anything. I tried to go back in when a different clerk was working & they told me to get out I asked why & the guy said he didn't know but he was told not to let me in the store. I'm still so mad I have to walk way down the street to get to QT instead of being able to go right next door & I didn't do anything!

Desired outcome: I'd like to be able to go back in the store and not be held responsible for something someone else I wasn't even with allegedly did.

Circle K overcharge for cigarette promotion

on two occasions I went into the Circle K .. CK2469 on Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio, Tx 78229 to buy Marlboro Special Select red 100's cigarettes.

If you buy two packs and put your phone number in on the screen it gives $2 off the two packs ..

On both ocassions invoice # 421076 and invoice # 417339 .. the staff said the discounts didn't work and they could do nothing .. You have advertising on the door and outside the building showing the discount prices .

I would like the $4 back that I was overcharged and compensation for my time and trouble dealing with this issue

Circle K Co worker Bruce lee

Bruce Lee a employee at circle k in mountain view arkansas goes by the name Lewis also smoke marjuana while he works through a vape. Threating people if they turn him in they would not be aloud back in the store. He has even made more than one sexual comments to women .He has cussed out two people why he was working. He has told people why he was working to leave him a tip.

Circle K Purchasing gas using discount points

Beware if you buy gas at this Circle K (7th St and Carefree Hwy in Phoenix AZ) and use your discount points. I could not get my card to work at the pump so I went inside and put $35 on a ticket for a pump and gave them my Frys discount number. I was told I would be charged what the pump rang up, not the $35 prepay ticket. I pumped $30.23 in gas with my $4.77 discount. Circle K charged me the full $35 I put on the prepaid ticket. I called and talked to BRYAN the manager. He was very rude and pretty much told me that he was going to leave the $35 charge there and hung up on me. He admitted that I actually purchased $30.23 in gas but said that Frys should pay me the discount? Really? They have a contract with Frys to support that discount. I called my credit card company and of course they are going to refund my account for $4.77. I will also report this to Frys and someone at Circle K corporate, just wanted others to beware and pay attention if you buy gas like this.

Desired outcome: Alert others to this practice of not giving the discount if you go inside and establish a prepay ticket.

Circle K False advertising

On Friday, Jan 22, 2021 at about 2:30pm I went to the Circle K at SR44 and Glenwood Ave in Deland, FL. I have been using that store for over 20 years sometimes as many as 5 days a week. I have always received good to excellent service from the employees. No one there today was in any manner disrespectful or rude. However they refused to honor an advertisement posted in the candy section offering double size Snickers bars where you buy two and get one free. Please don't laugh. I know the amount here is trivial but I believe the principle is not. When you advertise a price you must honor it come hell or high water. Apparently the offer expired last week. But that is not the customer's problem. If they forgot to take down the signs, it's not the customer's fault. Honor the advertised price/offer and promptly remove the advertisement posted. I think that's the proper course. If you agree with me, all I want is to have those employees trained on this issue so it doesn't happen again. I am not requesting any disciplinary action whatsoever. Thank you.

Circle K Pump malfunction and staff terrible service-refund request.

My name is yolanda c., I reside in san luis az and I have been a proud and loyal customer of yours for decades. On 1/20/21 (wednesday) at approximately 8p.M. I stopped at your san luis az store to purchase some chips and scratchers, I had half a tank of gas and I decided to fill up my tank. I (as usual) left the pump filling my tank automatically (pump#11) as I headed inside the store. I got my bags of chips and grabbed some crossword puzzles and paid. As I walked outside to my car, I immediately noticed the pump was malfunctioning and did not automatically stop, like it should. There was a lot of gas splashing out of my car, I immediately and carefully stopped it and I noticed it ran to nearly $50dlls. My car is a 4-cyl and with half a tank full, it approximately dropped $30-35dlls of gas on the floor. I immediately ran inside the store to notify the employees and they asked for a piece of paper of me explaining what happened and my name and phone number. Both of the employees were very understanding and explained to me that it would be taken care of, that they would notify their next in kin and that I should return thursday or friday between 4am and 2pm when the store manager is there to provide me with a refund. I am a full time student, a full time employee and a full time single parent; I work hard to be able to support my son and mother, and I do not have money to spare, I live paycheck to paycheck and can not afford to lose those 30-35dlls. As I came into the store to talk to the store manager today 1/22/21 at 7am, I started explaining what happened and he did not even let me finish my statement when he said to me "it is all your fault for leaving the pump unattended", I tried explaining to him that I did not know that I had to be right next to the pump while it filled my tank, but I was tired and wanted to go home, so i, like always left the pump running while I ran inside, trusting that the pump is working properly and stopping when my tank was full. He again interrupted me and said "it is all your fault for living it unattended, it could cause an accident and the best I can do is give you a 10dllr refund", I told him that it is not fair that I have to lose money, that I work hard for and can not afford to lose, because the pump is broken, the pump should have a sign stating that it is not in service and should not be available for use if it is a safety hazard, which it is! But more than that, I am profoundly disappointed and offended that he did not take the time to listen to my concerns and was not even understanding enough to give me my money back! I am not asking for charity, I am asking for my money in return, I need to pay my bills and this is setting me back, yes, 35dlls set me back significantly! I apologize for any inconvenience this might bring to you, really, as I already mentioned, I am a loyal customer, my whole family are loyal circle k customers, and I would hate to have to change that because of an incident like this. Circle K Service complaint

I am a 71 year old white guy and the young black girl said i threw money at her and she said that she did not to provide service to me. I did not do this and i have three other customers to say i did not throw money at her. First of all you folks have a shield, now how can a customer send money acept to put it under the shield. Now with that said i want an appology from that black employee and i want a public apology from your company. Just because i am old and i am white does not mean that i can be abused by your employees. My complain is against the girl at your 2nd st. Store in cochran, ga. This complain comes as of 1/22/2021 at 12.36am

Circle K Management

I worked for Circle K from March 2020-September 2020. I left because I was offered a better paying job that suited my family. I called the store manager to request information on how to obtain my W2 and was given a website www.myadp.com with a registration code. I attempted to log in and was not successful. I called the manager to let her know and was advised there was nothing she could do. I asked for the Corporate number, she told me to google. Very inappropriate behavior, in which I feel this is a form of retaliation because I made a choice to leave the company.

Desired outcome: I would like access to the myadp portal so I may access my W2 and your store manager need some coaching.

Circle K Employees uneducated about identification laws

So i'm not dumb I know the laws and the law is acceptable forms of id'a are following: resident card and driver license and passports and even birth certificates are as well. Multiple times has my resident card not been accepted. What is circle k's minimum required grades achieved like only elementary school or something? These people working at hatcher and 7th street phoenix arizona circle k are the dumbest idiots with horrible terrible people skills and bad attitudes. I will never ever step foot in a circle k again in my life because of these useless/worthless employees. Educate your employees at least on what is acceptable for an i.D. And what is not. Unbelievable that there's still people out there don't even know what is acceptable and what isnt. Obviously have had zero training and obviously will hire anybody with lack of brains.
