I am the parent of a former employee who quit because of inappropriate, derogatory remarks made between managers in reference to him. The manager, Kita/Quita, referred to my son in a derogatory manner in a conversation she had with another employee/manager or supervisor. My son confronted the situation by informing her that he was quitting and would no longer report to work after his shift concluded. I visited the establishment a couple days later to speak with and file a complaint with the manager's supervisor, Cynthia. Neither were available. Following this, my son received several harassing text messages by Cynthia, the general manager, telling him to "call off the ladies". I took offense to her messages...as if he requested that I visit the establishment to confront them maliciously. Checkers needs to reevaluate who they appoint to management roles. Obviously, these females lack maturity and the professionalism required to manage employees. This complaint will definitely be forwarded to their corporate office as I see these females don't have the interpersonal skills to handle the complaint internally.
