JPMorgan Chase review: Worst bank ever

WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE EVER
After making wire transfers to my French account via a currency broker for almost 20 years Chase canceled a transfer and blocked my account. Why? Suspicious activity – and from then on forward Chase treated me like a criminal money launderer. After several more attempts I learned that wire transfers were no longer permitted! WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED IN THE FIRST PLACE? Then Chase blamed the problem on using my computer instead of a phone - COMPLETELY FALSE! When I finally spoke to Chase’s only competent employee he guided me through the steps on my computer. No problem! I also phoned my branch in Manhattan who suggested my only alternatives were to request a check from head office (good luck with that one!) or use my debit card. Both incurring huge fees. After close to a week no solution to the problem. Thanks to Chase I lost money on an exchange rate since they caused me to miss the deadline. A total disgrace.
