Online account creation nightmare.
Their first foot forward has turned into a trip & fall. I went online to create a brokerage account first before I move my IRA accounts there. During this process it tells you to confirm 2 agreements, I read the fine print, asterisks notes etc. So I get no surprises & that's where the lawyers put the surprises. They want you to just click through & NOT actually read them. Now to penalize me for reading the program timed me out (I believe it was under 2 minutes but?) Ok now my account is now in the digital abiss, 2 phone calls & now the answer I get is they will email me documents, I have to print them, fill them all out & mail them back of drop them off at the nearest office 25 miles away to get an account started. Now should I even do it? It has me thinking if no one on the phone has enough security to delete all my info and just let me start over why should I trust them with a dollar, let alone half a million?
Claimed loss: An account?
Desired outcome: They fix their s*** or get people on the phone who can hit some keys and fix something like this rather than making a customer jump through hoops.
