Carnival Cruise Lines review: Services

So booked a cruise for my family to enjoy a vacation together . My daughter’s boyfriend was going to propose to her on the ship so a very special trip. I been traveling with carnival for 30 yrs and I can tell you it’s gone to [censored] it’s gone to [censored]. Carnival Valor 5 day [protected] vip number Oct 21 thru 25 2023 . Stateroom 9253.. So first thing we didn’t leave on time because a guest overdose on ship and had to bring police and corner and crime unit on board. Also an employee fell and snapped his neck so to passed away to start off. Then was at comedy lounge was told I could not purchase a bucket of beer no matter if I paid for it or not. When I have done this often with no problems. Spoke to customer service. They had no clue call Barb manager said there was no problem and they could accommodate that time the show was over in the night was ruined .Then spoke to steak house to make sure everything was all good for a steak night 10 guest. All good they said week arrived the night to eat and was told only had reservations for eight and it could not accommodate so another night ruined. Then was told my grand daughter could not swim and she was potty trained same thing trip ruined. Then my cabin stewardess was high as a kit and was told the party every night like that. Ok so we worried about people bringing drugs onboard but employees getting high on ship. Found a few groups from cleaning to band players smoking pot onboard. And then told when asked for more water to just drink what you have rude not very nice. And a list goes on and on.
