We were on Carnival cruise Elations Oct 7 thru 12 2023. I booked my room on line and I made sure to put in the comments that if is 2 twin bed they need to put together. We were in room u169 and it had 1 twin bed on the floor and pull down bunk. We talked to our room person and he told use he will see what they can do, so we went out to enjoying ourselves, it is my 58th bday and our 5th anniversary. We return back to our room around 9 pm and the room is the same way so we go down to guess services, the lady there was very rude to use and must not know what she was doing. The girls goes to this room and then comes out with a sheet of paper and telling us we used a travel agent and I told her NO we didn't, she pointed to a phone number which was mine and name which was my husband. So we are arguing back and forth and told there is nothing that could be done. We offered to pay more for a different room but was told there were NO empty rooms any where on the ship. We all know that someone had a last minute emergencies and not

make the trip. So we ask if they could just bring another twin bed in the room and was told NO, we were both very mad at this point, this is a special trip and we can't even sleep in the same bed together. My husband is 6 foot 5in tall and he tried to sleep on the pull down bed and it did not work for him, he would not let me sleep up there cause I had 2 pedicle fractures in my back that I had major surgery Oct 17 2023. We call our room person back and the only option we had was for my husband to sleep on the FLOOR! My husband is and EMT and works very hard and this is a special trip for us that we have spent a lot of money on and he has to sleep on the floor. I purchased our tickets around June or July 2023 and even called around Sept or so to do an upgrade on our room but due to it being so expensive I passed and even at that time the person that I talked to was told numerous times that this was a special trip for us and she knew the beds need to pushed together if they were 2 twin beds so she should have informed me at that time that the room that I have reserved is not going to work for what I need. I think carnival owes us

a free cruise! I know my husband didn't rest much the whole cruise and paying that kind of money to sleep on the floor is terrible. We have cruise with carnival several times and I have a carnival credit card and this is how they treat their customers.

Desired outcome: A free cruise where my husband could actually get the rest that he deserves for working so hard as an EMT and make our 5 th anniversary and my 58th bday special.
