Captain D's review: Closed early while cars incline at drive thru

On this date January 10,2023 my wife and I were sitting in the drive thru line at Captain D’s. They are open until 8pm. It was 7:26 when we got to the order box. We got a message that they were closed and come back another time. They served the car in front of us. They still had over 30 minutes to be open. No explanation, no apology, they simply switched to the closed recording, would not answer their phone. Left my wife and I along with four other cars with no consideration as to an explanation as to why they closed early. The lack of basic customer service and consideration was appalling. What has happened to customer service, integrity, basic courtesy?
