Budget Rent A Car review: Rental return one way rate

Subject: Urgent: Concern Regarding Excessive Rental Charges

Dear Budget

I am writing to address a significant issue regarding the charges on my recent car rental with your company. Upon reviewing my bill (which I have not paid) I was shocked to discover a charge of $300 for a one-day rental, which I find exorbitant and unjustified.

The circumstances surrounding my rental were unforeseen, as I encountered a family emergency that necessitated my immediate return to Houston. Consequently, I returned the car to your Dallas location at approximately 10:30 PM on April 11th, well within the one-day rental period.

To my dismay, I noticed an additional charge for gas, despite having responsibly refilled the tank before returning the vehicle.

As a result, the total charges amount to a staggering $470.18, far exceeding the initial quote of $83.00. Such discrepancy and lack of transparency in billing practices are unacceptable and reflect poorly on the level of customer service provided. I am a fan and a budget fast break member. I already had to purchase a ticket to fly back and you want to charge me this amount to return the rental to the same company.

I kindly request that a supervisor contact me at your earliest convenience to address these concerns and rectify the situation.
