We purchased a GE washer for $899 and service contract for $349. The washer stopped working properly so I stopped by. The B&S store to arrange for repairs. The sales rep said that B&S changed Service Contract vendors and I had to call their vendor (Centricity) to obtain a ‘permission code’ before B&S would come to the house. Did that and technician came out and stated he had to order the partswhich would take 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I called B&S to get a stat,us and wa# told that their service contract vendor did not approve the order. Called. Centricityand was told that the Claims Dept had not made a determination yet. I asked to be tranferred to the Claims Dept and was told that they didn’t have phones but would text me whenever then had made a ‘determination’. Later I got a text from Centricity stating the cost to repair was not worth it and they wanted to send me $799 (even though I paid $899 plus another $349 for the service contract). I told them to replace it and they refused. Called B&S Customer Service Manager and she said there was nothing she could do could do and did I read the Terms of the Service Contract. I did not receive and Terms - just a line on the invoice for $349 for a 5 year extended warranty. In short Bray and Scarff committed fraud. They owe me $1049 to replace the washer $47 tax, $50 for delivery of a new washer, $50 to disposed of the washer they refuse to fix, and $349 for the 5 year warranty that they refused to honor
