We've had nothing but problems since it was installed in 2019. 6 months it leaked and ruined the sheetrock below it (it's in the attic) not a good choice. It is constantly shutting off and there no hot water. I wouldn't recommend this to ANYONE...it a piece of junk that cost $3,000 and has been since the start.

From the start our unit has experienced code issues. The company that installed the unit has been fixed multiple times. Almost 3 weeks ago no it is throwing another code. The Company that installed it has been out per Noritz request to picture document the unit. They said they needed more pictures before replacing the parts. Its winter. It's cold. Having this unit not fixed in an appropriate time because the manufacturer is dragging its feet. I have been unable to shower in weeks. It's a pandemic and the product sold to us is defective. Fix the product you sold us. Or replace it in a timely *** number 2011.[protected]

We have a Noritz tankless water heater model P-950 C which was installed as part of a whole home remodel in 2017. Since installation, we have had chronic issues. The heater leaked 12 months after installation, requiring a pump replacement. Noritz ships its replacement parts from Southern ***, they are not available at any store or with any plumber. We were without hot water for 5 days during this first breakdown. 18 months after installation the tank once again broke down and required a plumber to fix. Another week without hot water. Last week (30 months post-installation), once again the water heater broke down. It thinks there is a leak, but the plumber was unable to find any water leak, so the entire motherboard is being replaced. The part is under warranty, but Noritz shipped it *** ground, which means we ordered the part last Monday, and it is not expected to arrive until this Wednesday. 10 days without hot water in winter during a pandemic because Noritz shipped via the slowest possible option. Noritz customer service has been predictably and consistently unhelpful through the entire process. With the three breakdowns in the first 3 years of using the heater, we have paid more than $1500 in plumbing bills.The certified Noritz plumber in our area is helpful but there is only one that services our city (we live in a major metropolitan area), which makes it difficult to get help when needed.

I have a Noritz Tankless Water Heater that was installed in August as part of a whole home renovation. It was Purchased from *** Plumbing Supply and installed by my General Contractor. It has developed a leak. I paid a Nortiz certified plumber to come out and diagnose the issue. Neither the Nortiz certified plumber nor I could find the serial number on the unit, but we were able to locate other stickers with codes and numbers that listed the manufacture date of the unit. The Noritz certified plumber submitted pictures of the unit and they determined that is should be covered under the 12 year warranty and that parts should be sent immediately. Since then Nortiz keeps telling me that they cannot process the warranty because they do not have a serial number. Apparently there is no other documentation of proof of purchase in their records. I have not had a reason to look for a serial number on the unit in the last 7+ years. I see no sticker residue and I have no reason to believe that the unit is counterfeit, since it was purchased at an authorized distributor. the Noritz certified plumber found no evidence of tampering or counterfeit. The Pluming supply store says they only keep their records for 5 years and no longer have the information. I have spent hours trying to get this resolved all the while water is leaking onto the floor of my basement. This is clearly a business process problem. If their great warranty process hinges on a serial number on a sticker that may or may not be located on the unit. It seems like that information should also be etched into the unit or located inside the cover of the unit.

I have purchased two tankless water heaters model EZ *** back in December .The units were installed in April in a new construction home.After all plumbing inspections the water was supplied to the units.These units carry a 25 year warranty. The unit drained water constantly through a condensing plug. I ended up calling the company's customer support. After 40 minutes of waiting time they informed me that this was normal. The pump kept constantly running regardless of troubleshooting multiple times. I called Noritz customer support once again. I was held 30 minutes before I got to speak to a representative. We went through troubleshooting once again with no luck. They were no help. They seem to not care about their customers. The unit's fan was not working properly and the water was still running and wouldnt stop. I was told by the company to bring in a professional to take a look at it. I did, which cost me money out of my own pocket. After the assessment he determined it was a faulty heat exchanger. He himself ended up contacting Noritz to explain the situation.They offered new heat exchanger parts to replace. One issue with that is Noritz covers only $128 for the labor costs. The plumber charges $140 an hour, his estimate was around 6 hours minimum which means I would have to pay the $840 out of my own pocket instead of the guaranteed 25 year warranty. Were in the middle of a pandemic, most of us are struggling. I cannot afford to spend that much money on something the company should have already taken care of, especially advertising as a 25 year warranty. I contacted Noritz once again and told them I would just like a new unit. To which they replied that they cannot authorize this and would need to talk to management and get back to me. 2-3 weeks passed before I heard anything back. Today I have received a phone call from management saying that the unit was probably exposed to environmental conditions, thats why it is leaking. Theyre making false claims and accusations just so they dont have to replace my units. They had the audacity to offer me a unit at a discounted price. This company doesnt know how to resolve issues, doesn't care about their customers and is absolutely unprofessional. I had to go through weeks of fighting with them and still not getting my unit replaced (which was faulty from the manufacturer said by plumber), getting the lowest form of customer service as well as unprofessionalism brings the bar really low for this company. I bought these units feeling confident that they will work. When they didnt the company blamed environmental issues and decided not to take accountability. Not even the said 25 year warranty mattered to them at that point. I feel like I was scammed out of hundreds of dollars. Not all of us can afford new units, especially at times like these. Theyre so insensitive, unprofessional and money hungry. This company did nothing but made me lose money, time, and stress me out. Buyers beware of that deceptive warranty.
