Would like to alert to a booking.com scam I just experienced.
We arrived from Australia to Santiago Chile where we were expecting a complimentary taxi as per emails sent from booking .com to my email 2 weeks previously. (? Part of the scam)
No taxi was there and supposed airport worker offered to ring booking .com and see where the taxi was. He put me onto his phone where a man told me they’d mixed the times up but would email me for another free trip. He then organised a taxi for us where we were driven to a dark street and scammed for thousands of dollars !
I’m sure this is happening commonly and should be warnings on the booking .com site not accept free taxi rides
Desired outcome: Phone response to discuss this+61 [protected]
