Booking.com review: Serious privacy violation by hotel booked through Booking.com – No response from support

I’m writing this to report a serious issue that happened during my stay at Sapa Hills Hotel in Sapa, Vietnam, which I booked through Booking.com.

My booking confirmation number is 6380561697, and I stayed from October 3rd to October 5th.
The issue is that the hotel staff entered my room without permission, after I had already unpacked my things, and moved all my belongings to another room while I was out. This is a serious privacy and security violation — I don’t even know whether the person who touched my personal items was male or female.

I immediately contacted Booking.com customer service via email (using [protected]@gmail.com) and sent all the details, but I’ve received no proper response or action from them at all. They keep delaying and ignoring the matter as if it’s a small issue, even though it’s about a complete lack of privacy and safety.

I have already submitted multiple emails, and even though the hotel’s unprofessional behavior was reported, Booking.com has done absolutely nothing to resolve it.

If no action is taken immediately, I will share my full experience publicly on global travel communities and groups, warning travelers about Booking.com’s lack of responsibility and protection for its customers.
I will also leave a detailed negative review for the hotel on Google, mentioning that it was booked through Booking.com and that Booking.com ignored the complaint completely.

This situation is unacceptable, and I expect a serious investigation and official response from Booking.com, not more automated messages.

Recommendation: If you care about your privacy and safety, do not book here and think twice before using Booking.com — they completely ignored my serious complaint.
