I booked a room in a neighboring town for my son's surgery. I arrived at the hotel. My room was reserved, and everything was great until I checked my bank account and found that I had been charged at another location of which I was not staying. I called that hotel and they said they can't do anything because I have to cancel through booking.com. The fee for booking.com same day cancelation was $169.00 which was the same price as this random room I did not book.
