We have been trying since prior to 01/11/17 to close an account with BMO Harris. Was told documents couldn't be emailed and had to be mailed. Sent another msg requesting docs be mailed. Sent another msg via their website on 1/25/17 that we needed the documents as we hadn't received them. Their response was we needed to verify the address (which they have already). Verified address. Received msg 2/6/17 that the docs could be emailed. Received msg on 2/10/17 that docs would be emailed within 1 - 2 business days. Sent another msg 2/15/17 that we had not received the documents. Received msg 2/15/17 that the request to MAIL the documents had been sent and another msg stating they had been EMAILED. Spoke to ANOTHER rep last night and was told the signature card had been mailed 2/14/17 after receiving the request 2/10/17. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one was not available and one would call back within FOURTY EIGHT hours. This is the poorest excuse for customer service I have EVER seen and this is the 1st of many complaints I intend to file...next up is the Federal Reserve

BMO Harris Bank - The staff spoke about us and it was unpleasant
We went to DeNosha Prince BMO Harris Bank to close our bank account. When we waited in the queue and we heard the conversation of the staff. They were discussing our matter and said that we were busy and lazy. We should do it faster and now they should waste their time for us. It was unpleasant to hear it and we said the manager that we would come next time.
