In February of 2026 ATT had fiber optic lines installed on our street. The contractors cracked my new driveway, destroyed my yard and refuse to make repairs in contradiction to the information left on our doors before construction started. I have had ATT and their contractor come to view the damage and both stated they would fix the damage. Now that the optics lines are installed, they have left the area and refuse to answer phone calls or emails.

And now, to add insult to injury, ATT has given me 30 days to upgrade to their fiber optics or my service will be discontinued since they will no longer support DSL.

Recommendation: Avoid ATT fiber optic lines being installed in your area, fight it before they begin.
