AT&T at&t repairman damaged my sewer line

I had a backed up sewer line and called a plumber he was unable to fix it because it was in the street. I had to call the city to fix it. They told me it was damaged by at&t and fixed it but I still had to pay a large bill from the plumber even though he wasn't the one who fixed it. Since it wasn't my fault I was wondering if I could get a refund for the money I had to pay the plumber?

AT&T ATT internet Fiber Optic

My ACC# [protected]. I talked to Loyalty representative Jill for promotion this year and she gave me the deal $49.99 +tax. Confirmation is [protected]. But my bill now is $59.99 +tax. No one even the supervisor can help me for this issue. So, is the ATT agreement for nothing? Is that fair? the supervisor said that agreement right on that day -not now

Desired outcome: The Loyalty team and supervisor said that $59.99 + tax is right, and they don't care the agreement.

AT&T Billing customer service

I have been having issues with my AT&T DSL service and I have exhausted all avenues to resolve this issue with AT&T Customer Service Representatives.

On October 28, 2021, I reported to AT&T that my DSL service had lost connectivity. After troubleshooting with the tech, the issue was not resolved. As a result, the AT&T tech opened a work order to have the line checked on November 9, 2021. On Tuesday afternoon, Nov 9th, I received a telephone call from the AT&T line tech saying that someone had moved my connection in the AT&T switch box to a port that does not support DSL and that he had moved it to a switch port that does support DSL. After resetting the DSL modem in my home, I established network connectivity that late evening. So, I went 13 days with no DSL network connectivity. Today, I have tried multiple times to request that AT&T not charge me for DSL service for the 13 day outage period with each time receiving an excuse that the customer service tech could not see the tech notes regarding the issue, or they would transfer me to another tech that also used the no access to tech notes excuse, or I needed to phone a different number.

Desired outcome: Adjust my billing for the period of time I had no DSL service

AT&T Sales and customer service

Solicited me for a multi=line wireless plan then after the second bill (3x quote) told me I wasn't eligible for it. I even had an email from a tier 2 CSR detailing what I had signed up for and the top manager on duty when I called refused to honor it. Two months cost me about $600. Switched both internet and wireless immediately.

Desired outcome: Let other consumers know.

AT&T Billing - being charged when i didnt even have at&t service

My daughter (Kayla hobbins) started this account. She shortly after moved to Florida. I (her father) just kept up with the payments (because changing the account to my name was a real hassle), now that I moved myself I had to canceled this account. I told the customer support rep. to cancel this account on August 31 2021. She told me that my billing period went to the 16th of Sept. I said no cancel it on the 31st of August. The next day Sept. 1st I sent back all your equipment with UPS. I thought that was that but I got a bill for $54.45 because the service rep. I talked to DIDN'T cancel my service liked I asked her to. so I was charged till the 16th of Sept even though I didn't have any of the equipment. I tried calling 4 times to resolve this dispute but I don't know my daughters pin or secret answer, and I cant get a hold of her. They let me cancel it but wont let me explain whats going on, I have been hung up on and after 1/2 hour explain was told "I cant do anything about it" because they needed the pin or secret question. you had no problem talking my money but now hassle me all because one of your Customer Support Reps. didn't do as I asked (cancel this account on the 31st). This is my last attempt to resolve this with AT&T otherwise I will file complains with the BBB, and maybe with the consumer protection. Why would I send I the equipment in if I was planning on using it till Sept 16 (the end of my billing cycle)

AT&T DSL internet service not working

My DSL internet service has been out since September 17th, 2021. I have had technicians here on 2 different occasions with no results. I have replaced my router and still no results. I have called the internet and service department on several occasions and keep telling me there is a network outage in the 706 area code and they are working on it. Why is it taking 2 months to fix this issue? I have to wonder, are they really trying to fix it, because I was told they are going to do away with the DSL service. DSL is my only option with AT&T because nothing else is offered in my area. This is very frustrating.

Desired outcome: Please get repaired as soon as possible.

AT&T Installation

insulted my daughter, dismissed my wife as though she were not important, broke the lock on my gate, caused me to miss a dinner meeting and forced me to stand outside in the cold. Came back the next day like there wasn't any problems. I understand progress may be necessary but I should be treated with some respect (on property I thought I owned) and I firmly believe that lying to me is unacceptable. The woman at the [protected] did everything she could to get off the phone with me and was the second at&t employee to lie to me by telling me she'd have someone else call me. Still waiting on call six days later. Nice customer service. Interesting fact, I'm not a customer and now I never will be. Thank you so much for stepping on my life and costing me money. I had to leave my job two different times to come home and deal with a problem that should never have been presented to me.
I have been posting my story on as many internet sites as I can and am hiring a person in a full time position to keep posting and making calls telling everyone I can reach out to how I was treated and offering to pay for them to use some other service. More tactics to come.

Desired outcome: simple apology and admitting to the lies would have been a good start

AT&T Wireless bill

Salesman came to my house gave me written cost for new service. Lied. No one cares. Not customer service nor salesman nor chat nor ATT STORE. Now getting notice that my fam plan discounts ending. Did not have and only wit ATT LESS THAN a month. GOING TO DROP AND GO WITH T-MOBILE. BETTER price. Will pay off phone and much better customer service than ATT

AT&T Billing

Dear Sirs, I am so discouraged with ATT, I don't know where to turn. I have a package with internet, phone and TV cable and ATT raises my monthly bill, WITHOUT FAIL, each 2 to 3 months. ATT is the greediest company in this country. I call their loyality department and sometimes their agent, lowers my bill to help me, but this month, for October, the agent will not. I am a senior citizen and I simply can't afford a $194 bill. Is this legal----- can they raise a customer's monthly bill each 2 to 3 months, ROUTINELY ?

Desired outcome: Give me a lower monthly bill for EACH and EVERY month, and stop raising it.

AT&T Winning award of 21st anniversary of AT&T.

Hello sir. I'm Brightmore Ruwo from Harare Zimbabwe. I was issued a Certificate award by AT&T Telecommunication Company Conforming me as the winner of the award which is worthy 1 million US Dollars. The money was temporarily deposited in Lloyds Bank account for further transaction to my account after providing documents required by Lloyds Bank whi ch include the affidavit of claims Authorization Certificate from the Supreme Court of United States. Then Mr John Stankey CEO of AT&T refered me to Alban Chambers seeking for Assistance to obtain the last document from Supreme court.

Just want to confirm, is this true or False?Please Help sir.

AT&T Visa Reward Cards

I ordered Internet service from AT&T in March of 2021. I was romised a $250.00 Visa Reward Card for completing my order online. I waited, called into the Customer Service Center and was told it took 3 business /billing cycles for the reward card to be sent.

I waited No reward card. Called back because I was told that my phone that I had ordered had been cancelled and I would receive my payment back. That is another long winded complaint regarding AT& T por service. While I was dealing with that issue.

I asked about the Reward card. I was told it takes a ouple of months to receive. I called today 10/22/2021 and was told that my reward card had expired because I did not go online to CLAIM it.

The young lady explained in a broken non sensical way that the customer is directed to go to the reward center and request the reward card. The customer is walked through the process to claim the reward and since it had been 75 days, the reward was CANCELLED.! I actually had spoken to the
Administrative Assistant or Assistant to the President of AT&T 3 months ago and asked her about the reward card process and why I had not gotten my reward card. Is AT&T really this inept? or are they just clueless about customer service.

AT&T ATT lines across my property on the ground

We live at 10671 Lovell Road; Soddy Daisy, TN and have been ATT customers off and on for almost fifty years. In late August, we had a lot of rain and wind, which ultimately caused a large tree to fall on utility wires. The electrical company cleared the damage and fixed their lines that same day within hours, and the cable company repaired their lines; however, there was a string of lines across our yard on the ground and onto both sides of our horseshoe driveway. Our neighbor began calling the companies to find out who the lines belonged to; the other utilities said the lines belonged to ATT. My neighbor then called ATT, and after numerous phone calls speaking with numerous ATT representatives, was ultimately told that ATT was not going to move the lines absolving all responsibility for the lines, in other words, "that's not our problem!"
We then began calling ATT ourselves since we have ATT internet and DirectTV. My husband spent hours over the course of days being sent from one department to another and getting several calls cut off when the representative transferred to other departments; this became extremely frustrating! My husband finally got someone on the line who gave him a ticket number for the repair... over a week later still nothing done. My husband called a different number listed for ATT, and finally, he was told that a tech would come out last Friday, October 7. In the meantime, we kept getting texts saying that it looked like ATT had fixed our problem on their end and to reply, "fixed" if everything was working now--no doubt there is a communication problem within this business!
Finally on Friday, October 7, a tech showed up; took a picture of the fallen lines; sent them to the head of that department, and told us it should be taken care of by this Monday since those lines feed more than 500 residents. It is now Wednesday, October 13, and the lines are still across our yard stretching about 300 feet on the ground and across a ditch to a position near a hub for utility lines (these lines have to be lifted so we can mow our yard; a delivery truck was unable to deliver a dishwasher because the lines were too low for him to come up the driveway...he deliverd from the main road with a rolling cart; we run over these wires each time we leave the driveway, and they hit the top of my husband's truck when he goes in and out; it would also seem these wires would be dangerous!).

AT&T cable box

20 years of being a customer and yesterday i was on the phone to every countr y and no fix for 2 hours customer service doesnt exist i was accused of being racist i have to keep writing yet have nothing good to say customer service is dead and each dept so secular and 3rd world countries draw a check only and hate americans

AT&T Wireless

Last summer i returned 3 phones post office lost them then on aug 2nd all three got back to company .but now im being charged for one of phones.i worked with at&t president office and they had it straightened out i thought but now I was charged in sept.for the phone I don't have or haven't used.please help me again.thank you Janice ledger loyal directv customer for a long time .[protected] [protected]@yahoo.com

AT&T Corporate financial support

I am disgusted by AT&T's continued and substantial support for political situations such as those related to the OAN network and Texas governor Greg Abbott. The company is certainly free to support whoever or whatever cause they want, but I don't have to aid in that support. I want a cellular carrier that puts their resources into their services rather than politics.

AT&T 7 times, no call no show, system makes own appointments

Why does the system keep reverting my new appt to a system made up appt?! Im losing my mind, and fixing to get rid of this ATT nonsense once and for all. Ive typed this 3 times, and it keeps getting deleted so now, your only seeing part of this huge horrible issue. I ve beeen here waiting for 7 appts, for att tech, and no one has ever come to my house

AT&T DirecTV Equipment Returns

Cancelled service in June, shipping boxes/labels promised. Never arrived. Threats of monetary fines thrown my way. 6 phone calls promising labels did not help. Charged $337 to my credit card. I disputed. They threatened additional charges. Forced me to travel 125 miles to UPS shipping center. I have the "equipment received" email, but the charge is still on my card. AT&T customer service is non-existant.

AT&T VOIP home phone service

Prior to end of August I had plain old phone from ATT. My job requires voice mail, so I ordered plain old phone replaced with VOIP. First phone would not ring. After multiple days and many, many hours on phone, tech came out and said phone was not plugged in at the street. He fixed it, everything worked for about a week, then voice mail stopped working. Have again spent many hours with support and nothing so far has fixed the voice mail problem. Calls do not go to voice mail. Was advised to set up voice mail again, but cannot do this, as it has already been set up.

I have been ATT customer for as long as I can remember. Because of my job requirements, i need voice mail to work. If ATT cannot fix it, then I want out of all ATT contracts I have (internet, u-verse, phone) with no penalty and I will go with someone else.

AT&T Get boxes returned and 330 back

We signed up for ATT TV. First off we were never told the wireless boxes were ours and we were being charged monthly toward the ownership fee, next we were never told that the payment were to be auto from my checking. These things aside, we had the service for just under 3 months, the last 2 weeks were the worst, our feed was constantly down which meant no internet and no TV.
We called and the company sent techs out 5 times, they all said it was that we were at the end of the run, and knew it was a line issue for the outside division, yet they kept sending inside techs. After a week of this nonsense we finally had enough so we cancelled the service. What a nightmare, the divisions do not communicate. The straw was that through all this customer service was terrible and then they would not take back the expensive boxes, they said system like fire sticks for other things, they pulled 330 out of my account to cover the boxes that we no good to me when the system was down, due to poor or no service, I had them for under three months and am now stuck, I am embarrassed to say I am a stockholder in this company, I guess I know how they make a profit.
Bottom line, I would not go back to ATT if they paid me.

AT&T Damage to personal property

The att equipment is located in my backyard. Agents come and go to check the unit without warning.

In Aug of this year they entered and cut down a tree located very near the equipment. This was done with out permission or even simply letting us know what they were doing. On top of that, all the debris was left piled up in my yard!

I called on Aug 27 and talked to a Genve. She said she could verify who did the cutting with one phone call and would get back to me in 3 days. On the 7th of Sept. I called again and was told it would be taken care of in 24 hours. On the 22nd I called again and was told some one would call be back before the end of the day.

Three days later I finally got a call back who told me, they were only calling back cause I was calling so much. She also said that att does not have a department that "trims" trees and there was nothing they would do . As I was trying to ask questions, she merely talked over me say have a nice day and hung up on me.

A 170 billion dollar company and it took them 6 weeks to realize they don't have a whole department? That's the best they came come up with. Wonder who Genve was talking to? And why take a report for damage that no one there could have done? One would think with all that money they could hire someone who knew what they do.
