The plastic and rubber gears on this unit, are easy to wear-out . They can be removed for replacement, but the company does not offer a replacement part, they want you to purchase a new motor base for the plastic gear, and a new blade attachment for the rubber gear. BUYER BEWARE !!! FALSE ADVERTISING! I agree with other posters regarding this appliance. It was advertised that this unit would cost merely "pennies a day", & would reduce my winter heating electric bill by 50%. Truth of the matter is, it doubled my electric bill !!! DO NOT PURCHASE ONE! I had a KitchenAid slide in range mode KESC307HBS8 and I had an extended warranty, now the stove had a short when a technician came and he unscrewed the smoot ceran top said that there was grease underneath of it and said that was the cause of the short. Liebherr - Defective Liebherr Fridge

I bought a Liebherr fridge CBP 36560, after 3 years of service, its compressor broke and freon leaked. The change of the compressor and the location where the freon is leaking and the repair cost half the price of the fridge, and the service does not give any guarantee the freon will not leak in the future. I am appaled that such a seemingly serious company produces fridges that need to be replaced after 3 years of service.
