I purchased their product MH1240 (-D), (-01) 800 lb Utility Cart from Sears on 6/2/10. The purchase was based on the product picture that is widely available, then and now. Once assembled, I determined it did not comply with the picture. The cart handle is depicted as leaning back into the cart. My handle would only rest on the ground.
I contacted the company via email on 6/10/10 and advised of the disrepancy and that I surmised that it included an incorrect part. They said that when their parts were replenished, they would resolve the problem. ( they don't know? Really?)
On 8/13, after several follow-ups, their agent Nick Pieschel informed me that the part that came with my unit was correct and that the picture I relied upon was apparently a mis-representation.
Nevertheless, he stated there was nothing he could do to resolve it. In effect, I was informed that I was stuck with the misrepresented product.
I have registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota.
It's put together wrong. The fold - downs should all flap down vertically with no problem. If they do not they are on backwards. Turn them around and you solve both problems
I purchased a heavy duty garden dump cart from Lowes. When an assembly arose, I called the customer service department number provided. I was not able to connect to a live person. I was invited to leave a message, which I did, with the promise that I would beg contacted. Shortly after that, I sent an email message, via the tricam web site, and was promised that I would be contacted "shortly." No one has contacted me yet and I don't expect them to. This is sorry business.
