Hello my name is Brandon Stritt I was on train 5 from Chicago to Sacramento on October 12 my reservation number is ECC59C and I had a 28.5 hour delay due to your train breaking down twice.. I received an email stating that I would get a full refund to my original card not a partial payment of $50 due to me having a rail pass. I feel this is unjustified because I am in the military and if I had a regular ticket I would get a full refund but the email I received does not state that. The email I received states I will get a full refund regardless I did speak with one of your customer service representatives and they were very rude and straight up, told me that she was not going to give me a refund. I do not appreciate that I did pay the $499 plus tax, which came to 525 and some change to purchase the ticket, I feel I deserve at least a $250 refund due to the fact I sat in Glenwood Colorado for 28 hours and that push my trip back one and a half days I really appreciate it if someone can get back to me.

Claimed loss: I lost a day and a half and was late for my shift on base.

Desired outcome: I would like a partial refund or full I don’t think 50.00 dollars is sufficient..
