My husband was crossing a street when an approaching AMR ambulance decided to turn his siren on for fun scaring my husband into falling on the ground in the middle of the street. Which then caused the driver to start laughing. About 50' away from where this took place, he turned his siren off and proceeded to drive west on Pleasant Grove Blvd. in Roseville CA on 08/21/23 at approximately 2:00pm. Not only was that mean spirited of the driver but my husband recently had three back operations and is going in for a knee replacement in October as well as having a heart condition which caused him to have severe chest pains following the incident. A medical team member whose job it is to care for injured people, injured my husband and callously laughed and found enjoyment in it. I am furious that when I called AMR to file a formal complaint in the local office I was brushed off and told that this would be dealt with internally, but I find that highly unlikely. If your company truly had any integrity, they would not hide behind fake claims about inner office procedure. The person on the phone should have apologized and said she would make it her job to get to the bottom of complaint.

Desired outcome: I would like a formal apology from the driver and the Placer County operations manager.
