My dad went to Borgess Hospital on 1/5. The ER peeps were great and got my dad checked out quick. He had a heart attack and needed a thing called a cardiac cath to put in 3 stents. They took him for the procedure and I didn't hear anything for 6 hours. Plus, they didn't teach him anything about how to eat better after his heart attack. That's not cool.

Bad custmr servce. I been dealin wth insuranc issue for 6+ mnths. Paid out of pocket expnses that I shudnt have paid due to be double covered. They sent my bill to collectns AFTER I PAID IT but wouldnt inform the collectns agency that it had been paid. Said thats your job. Once insuranc issues were resolved, I called and asked them to refill everything and to please refund me my money that I shudnt have paid and they now are saying we cannot open closed accounts and refund. Even though it is up to them. I have delivered 2 babies in this hospital and have experienced horrible service with billing since my first baby was born there in 2018. I will never again go to this hospital even if it is 5 minutes away from my house.

I had a heart attack cuz of my heart on Monday night June 13th 2022, and went to ascension Borgess E.R. The 2 doctors kept asking me if I do meth, cuz my teeth are bad and I didn't have my dentures. They didn't stop asking until my bloodwork showed I don't do drugs or drink. I shoulda asked them if they do drugs or where they from. They didn't even say sorry. I'm gonna sue them for saying bad things about me and they should go back where they came from. If that don't work, I hope I see them again. Ascension Borgess E.R. *** BIG TIME.

I went to Borgess Medical Center for a diabetes check-up. On 12/30, I had a procedure done that was supposed to be covered by my insurance. However, I was charged $100 for it, which was not fair. I talked to the billing specialist for six months, and she finally admitted that it was their mistake, and I didn't have to pay it. But now, on [protected], I received a statement saying that I owe the $100 again. This is frustrating and confusing, and I hope they can fix it soon.

Borgess Medical Center took my money for invoices from 2019, but they still sent them to collection agencies. I paid twice for the same invoice, but they didn't give me my money back. Now, my credit report is messed up because of their mistakes.

I got financial help, but it ain't in my bill record. Billing said to call the Financial assistance office - I've Tried 3 numbers 226-7332 #4 (na), 5626 (n/a) & 8364 (mailbox #?) Also no ability to e-mail/msg them. I need them to re-do my letter and let me know if my assistance was a one-time help or for 6-12 months as it usually is. I've attached the letter. I've been trying for at least a week to contact them. Phones ring for over 10 minutes and no one answers. I've called billing MANY times and been stuck on hold waiting to ask for a new #.

Hospital tryna bill me twice for stuff that medicaid already covered. They knew about it when they did the stuff, but still sent me a bill last month. I told them and they said they'd fix it, but then I got the same bill again this month. Borgess hospital is straight up tryna scam me. They can't bill me for stuff that medicaid already paid for. That's called "MEDICAID FRAUD" if you ask me. They got all the info they need, so why they still sending me bills? This is some BS. Whoever did the billing needs to get their act together or get fired.

I had a heart attack at Borgess Medical Center on 09/29. I usually go to a different place, but the casino used a different ambulance to take me there. I have insurance, but the ambulance service didn't submit a proper claim to my provider. I've talked to Borgess and my insurance many times about this, and they said they would fix it. My niece has also talked to them. But Borgess keeps sending bills, and they haven't given a proper claim to my insurance. My insurance won't pay the bill until they get a claim. I keep getting harassed for the $2,139 invoice. They need to submit a claim to my insurance. That's what insurance is for. It's inhumane to harass someone who's had multiple heart attacks and strokes. It's hard for me to communicate because of my strokes, so I need help to fix this.

I went to Borgess Medical Center cuz I had a problem and needed surgery. They fixed me up good, but now they keep sending me bills for one lab thing that they didn't bill the VA for. I told them to just bill the VA like they did for everything else, but they still keep sending me bills. They said they might send me to collections, which ain't fair cuz they messed up. They did a good job on everything else, but they need to get their billing straight. If you're a vet, maybe think twice before going here. I'm gonna try to help other vets so they don't have to deal with this.

I went to Borgess Medical Center on February 27th. They still haven't billed my *** insurance properly, even though I gave them the right info when I was there. I used their website to ask them to fix it, but on April 23rd, *** said they still hadn't gotten the bill. They called Borgess and we thought it would be fixed soon. But on June 9th, *** still hadn't gotten the bill, even though the doctor had already been paid. I talked to Kinesha at Borgess Billing and she said I had to wait 60 days. Today I called *** again and they still haven't gotten the bill. I called Borgess and they said they had the wrong PO Box. That info is on my *** card. Bad service. I went to Borgess Bariatric Program in August 19 to get healthy. It was good. But, I had problems with the staff in January . They didn't answer my emails and calls fast. The psychologist they use was also slow. When I called, they weren't there. My first meeting with the psychologist was bad. I told the receptionist about my problems. I talked to the office manager and the director of the bariatric program. They didn't help me. Dr. ***, my surgeon, called me, but didn't ask about my problems with his staff. After we talked, I got a letter saying I needed anger management classes. I asked for my medical records on January 25. It's March 23, and I still don't have them. I know the pandemic is hard, but they were unprofessional.

I got a bill for $30 from Borgess Medical Center and I don't know why. I sent three letters but no one answered me. They said it was for lab work but I already checked with my insurance and they said everything was covered. I want to know exactly what I'm being billed for and what the insurance company told them. If it's their mistake, they need to fix it. I don't want them to call me because they can't keep their story straight. They can contact me through the patient portal, email, or send a letter.

My wife had surgery at Borgess Woodbridge Center in March . I paid the first bill on April 8th, but then received another bill on April 22nd and mistakenly paid it again on April 25th. I later received a notice from Medical Financial Solutions requesting payment for the same amount. When I called Borgess billing, they confirmed that I had paid twice and said they would refund the $1168.74. However, I have yet to receive the refund despite calling multiple times and requesting to speak with a supervisor. It's been over 3 weeks since they promised to call me back. I'm worried about their billing practices and wonder if they are scamming people. They owe me my money back and I hope they will resolve this issue soon.

I don't recommend going to Borgess unless you have to. They might be overstating their books with people's extra money.

Medical Center. She was able to help me navigate the system and get my son the care he needed. Despite the initial negative experience with the triage staff, the medical care my son received was top-notch. The doctors and nurses were knowledgeable and attentive, and my son was able to recover quickly. Overall, I would recommend Borgess Medical Center for their medical expertise and quality care.
