I bought a new car from Allen Turner Chevrolet on 03/07, thinking I was co-signing for my daughter. The salesman, Justin, and the sales manager, Justin, knew that my daughter had bad credit. They said they needed a co-signer and told me that I could get a 4 percent loan if I co-signed. The finance manager manipulated the paperwork and had me sign for the loan by myself. I didn't find out about this until 03/11 when the loan company called me. I was in the hospital at that time, and they informed my husband that I needed to come and sign. We have medical documents to prove this, and the salesman was well aware of the situation. He took advantage of me, knowing that the car was for my daughter and that we had traded in her car.

I got my truck's brakes fixed at the Crestview place. They replaced the pads, resurfaced the rotors, and changed the brake fluid like they suggested. On my way back home from the service department (around 12 miles), both back wheels started smoking and got super hot, almost 800 degrees, because of the brakes rubbing. I even have a video showing this. I called the place right away to tell them about this serious and risky brake problem. They're saying I gotta pay almost $600 more, claiming it's because of the calipers and not their fault. The brakes were working just fine before they worked on them. It doesn't make much sense that if 60% of the braking power comes from the front brakes, all the smoking is happening in the back. Now I'm stuck without a vehicle and expected to cough up an extra $600. The service they did was really dangerous. It's only by some miracle that the truck didn't catch fire or blow up.

In January, I took my 2014 Chevrolet Equinox to Allen Turner Chevrolet because the engine light was on and the car was not drivable. They performed a diagnostic and gave me an estimate after finding the p0420 and VVT CODE. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Main St Automotive, where they also found the same code. They fixed the VVT and the engine light disappeared. However, the engine light came back on and the car started cutting off again. I went back to Allen Turner Chevrolet and the CAT efficiency code reappeared. They ordered a new catalytic converter and on July 30, they replaced it. They called me and said that the VVT needed to be replaced, but I told them that it was already new. They called back again and said that the manifold was melted, and I gave them permission to fix it along with the p0420. They also recommended replacing the cam actuators and timing, claiming that the code appeared during the Cat Efficiency fix. I asked them why this code was appearing now when it didn't before and at the other shop. I decided to address this issue later. After picking up my truck from the dealership, I noticed it was making a strange noise. I called them back, but they said it wasn't related to the fix. Unfortunately, within 24 hours, the truck went into limp mode and became undrivable.

I bought a 2016 Van from Allen Turner Chevrolet in 2019, not knowing that it had a recall on the transmission pump. Two weeks ago, while taking my kids to school, the transmission lost pressure. When I checked online, I found out that there is a recall, called S44, for my van. Two mechanics have confirmed that the problem with my transmission (transmission hydraulic pressure) is the same as the recall. However, neither Allen Turner Chevrolet nor Dodge are willing to help me with the recall because my VIN is not included yet. I have already filed a complaint with NHTSA. Even the mechanics at the Dodge Dealership where my van is currently located agree that it should be covered under the recall. I was told that this is my best option. I purchased the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan (VIN#2C4RDGCG1GRXXXXXX) from Allen Turner Chevrolet, but they are not providing any assistance. The Dodge dealership is trying to help, but they claim their hands are tied due to Dodge Corporate. I reached out to a local mechanic who has experience with the ComplaintsBoard.com, and they suggested that if I provide the information to you, there might be a chance for assistance. I have contacted Dodge and Allen Turner Chevrolet multiple times, but I have received no help or guidance.
