terrible experience
Mid-April 2008, I entered the Eastgate 24 hour Missoula, MT Albertsons to try to use the remnants of a giftcard I had.
I was then approached by the late night cashier, a brunette woman with glasses, and was told that they had "received too many complaints that I follow people around and needed to leave and never come back." The funny thing is, before that, I had never been told that I was bothering anyone and had no idea I had been, and it's even funnier that when or if I did shop there, I went out of my way to avoid people.
If I had received a prior warning, I'd have no issue with it. But in lieu of that, I see no reason to it, and don't understand why such a drastic measure was taken without merit. Not only have I never returned to that particular Albertsons, I have never shopped at any Albertsons in Missoula since.
I had shopped at Eastgate for ten years... but I do thank them, in a way, for what happened. I've now adopted the practice of shopping at many different store locations, for purposes of comparing and contrasting prices and exploring new things. Granted, some things may be overpriced compared to the Eastgate Albertsons, but I don't have to deal with mortifying, unnecessary experiences like that.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
bad service
On sunday May 24 as I do every weekend I went to buy my groceries at Albertson's located on Palms and Sepulveda. I always tend to buy steamed shrimp which they must be cooked. However, I am tired of the workers that are in the seafood department. On every occasion in which they do not feel like cleaning the steam machine they lie and say that they are broken. There have been many occasions in which I can prove that they use the lie that the machines are broken because I return a couple of minutes later find another worker and request the same shrimp and they are magically able to cook my shrimp in the machine that was supposable broken. On this occasion when I insisted that they cook my shrimp while completely frustrated because they said they were unable to help me I went to look for the manager. When I found her she had received a call from the woman who couldn't help me in the seafood department. And to make matters worse the store manger supported the lie about the broken machine claiming that the machine was leaking water. This whole compliant is just to ask for better service at Albertson stores. Because after all there are plenty of people whom hate lies especially when we are aware that they are lies.
If any one in this company can bring about a change I will highly appreciate it.

Are you serious right now? A store manager would not support a lie if it were false..the manager would remain on the phone with the employee and demand that him/her help you with the situation..to make a special trip to the seafood dept. by the manager is the manager's way of saying you are a complete ### for demanding the manager and suspecting this cospiracy that the steamer isn't working, because in reality IT ISN'T. The manager came all the way to the seafood dept. because she knew what a scene you would cause and would cause harm to an innocent employee. i can't stand ###s like you.
casino-related check clearing services tying hands of grocery giant?
My mother (who finds it very difficult to walk) wrote a check for Albertson's grocery store today and was told the check reader wouldn't read it. The management told her and me and Albertsons customer service told me (and I've been assured the Dallas office will tell me) that Certegy will not allow an Albertson's employee (or manager) to call in when the reader does not work, nor can they punch in the numbers. In addition, the customer service person seemed genuinely concerned that she perhaps wasn't handed that slip of paper with the Certegy number (To do what? to be told their check reader didn't work?) They all said there was nothing they can do. Yes, there is. Albertson's can discontinue using Certegy (which is in cahoots with casinos...hmmm) and/or INSIST on better service from this third-party vendor. My mother writes a column for the local newspaper and I'm sure this will get out in her hometown far and wide. Albertsons and Certegy, are you listening?

poorly managed store
I normally spend $500 to $700 on groceries per month. In spite of the fact that I have been turned off to Safeway due to its inept home delivery service, I went to the San Francisco, Diamond Heights store on November 5 only to find the shelves near empty.
On November 6, I found very little more than cat food and coffee.
I asked the clerk why the shelves were so bad. He gave me a bad excuse. I asked to speak to the manager, who was unavailable. Only an Assistant Manager was available, but unavailable to talk to me. I called on my cell and nobody picked up the phone, five times. I called the bakery who hung up on me, after learning that I wanted to talk to management.
Based on my requests for service and assistance, I am left with only one conclusion that I will share with my friends and neighbors – that Albertsons are poorly managed and to be honest, clearly stink badly.
PS., Albertsons web site is full of web errors.
I’ll give my $6,000 to 8,400 annual grocery bill to Albertsons. I gave you a second chance and Albertsons can’t cope.
I am an Educator and when we presented an opportunity for Albertsons to take part of a Job Fair at our School, we couldn't have asked for a better person then the Store Director from Albertsons to show up. He was so helpful and honest. This man is a the reason I will remain a loyal Albertsons shopper!
Every time I purchased goods the price was wrong. Lots of times mis marked. Service horrible.
I would like to compliment the deli manager of our local Albertsons here in San Marcos, California on San Elijo Drive. The counter looks beautiful and is always well stocked. She and her staff go above and beyond to satisfy their customers.
On 6/27/2023 I bought a case of Budweiser that was on sale with $15 rebate Via PayPal. However until today, I have not get the $15 in my PayPal yet. Do I have to do anything in order to get this rebate?
Your rasist and disrespectful 5th manager Hector, of your 2899 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, CA 92019 Albertsons, refused to sell to my wife and I 30min before closing because my wife is Aribic. We had to drive 30mins to a Vons to get what we needed.
Why is it an option to receive an email delivery gift card but i connot use it in store. It should not be an option. It is false advertisement. The bottom of the download gift card says can be used in store. But the store told me there corparate office would not let them use it. False advertisement is what this is. Fix this issue
Yes I was checking out at the check stand . Cashier was Kyler she didn't complete my transaction stopped exited check stand went to next check stand and got another till drawer. I had asked for cash no cash received or receipt given to me and another customer had loaded the belt with their groceries. I had to wait for someone else to come finish.
These avocados were purchased from the Upland Colonies store for $2 each. This is absolutely unacceptable. Also, we've spent over $30 on fresh fish more than once just to throw it out once we get it home and realize it's spoiled.
Please go to Yelp and read all the negative reviews on this Albertsons located at Cypress Village, Irvine, CA 92620. A lot if customers, including me are leaving it and going to the nearby Ralph's instead. Customers complain about the food quality, over pricing, poor management, mistreatments of minorities, poor customer service...
I have been playing Monopoly for months. I have hundreds of points to trade in. You have gotten rid of everything to buy with points. This is a big rip off .
