Sub, My tariff Boucher not ctivate

I had activated of 69rs tariff Boucher on 17 October in my mobile. My mobile no is [protected]. But toady is 23octover my tariff Boucher not activate I have been paid full call rate. I had already two times complained to Airtel customer care regarding this problem. They are saying that this problem solved in 24 hours but my problem not solved that’s why I am mailing to you. I am very old member of airtel. I cannot think that about these types of to Airtel.

I am stupid that i shifted from reliance to Airtel. Huge problems with its website. Sometime it doesnt open and some time u cant recharge ur account...
and today the worst is happening.. i cant get through their access number since last 4-5 hours... so i m wondering when these bunch of idiots will look into this problem and i can make my calls to india... i swear as soon as i finish my prepaid amount with them there is no calling from me to india by airtel.. Airtel sucks!!!
Honestly, i m hoping i can use my remaining balance with them... disgusting..

wcc not activated for use in dublin

I purchased a long distance World calling card for Rs 500/- on 28 Sep 08 from N Delhi before leaving for Ireland, Dublin. the WCC was issued vide bill No 1132 dated 28 Sep 08 of BB Corporate Services Pvt Ltd, Dwarka,
Delhi-75. My WCC sl no is 977630370000977630370004.(Date of packing-1/08/2008
After reaching Dublin, when I tried using the card, I received an recorded error message saying that the card needs to be activated for use. this is in contravention with the assurance given by the salesman at Delhi Intl Airport stating that the card does not need any activation. The help line of the tecom service at Dublin also could not help except saying that the card needs to be taken back to the seller at Delhi.
Airtel, Delhi is requested to look into the matter and resolve the issue so that I can make use of the card as per the conditions laid down for use . My email address is - [protected]@hotmail.com

apathy of customer care in reference to lost sim card

I had lost AIRTEL sim card on 16th of Sep 2008, late night. I spoke to the consumer center to block my card so that it is not used for any illegal activities. But they asked me to visit an Airtel relationship center and didn't provide me their head quarter's number. They said they don't have it. I insisted, but they still didn't! How is it possible that the customer care doesn't have this number! I updated them regarding the current terrorist situation in Mumbai, and requested them to block the card for a few hours so that I could find nearest relationship center and go forward with it. They even didn't oblige on this. Instead, the customer call center representative, one ARSHAD, was very rude and plain. Considering their apathy towards their customers I am hoping that I am able to find a relationship center (and they don't take time to block it) before the card is used for some illegal activities. Nor do they have a separate web page to register our complains.

against caller tune

I phase a problem against airtel pco. I run a airtel pco. Now a days caller tune is activated on 90% mobile phone when customer connect a call from pco to any mobile phone the first response from other side is that press* (star) to copy this caller tune. The innocent customer immigrate press * (star). Due to this action a caller tune is activate on that pco number. The company deduct monthly charge nearly 30/-rs from pco owner balance due to prepaid pco connection. The unsubscribed of this caller tune from pco is not possible due to technical reason.Any how we unsubscribe the caller tune the next day other customer press* the company again charge 30/-rs. How can we avoid this type of problem please take necessary action. My contact no. [protected].

    My prepaid connection has been declared unregistered, in spite of submitting all the required documents on time!!! I wasn't even informed about the verification failure, in there was any.

    This is just not expected from a company like Bharti Airtel.

    It's a shame that you don't even have the right kind of customer care executives who can handle your queries! PATHETIC is the word.

    I purchased pin from this company but this does not work. I called them so many times they keep telling me it will work but it does not. Its almost 1 month its not working,they don't reply to your email or phone and till now they have not credited my account. They charged me 25.00 dollars. Suggest do not use AirTel Bharti.

    Request for disconnecting my post paid mobile number 9876791273 was submitted in Sector 37 branch on 1st December, 2017. I was promised for doing the needful within 2-3 days. I am still awaiting confirmation of disconnection of my number on the alternate mobile number 9417470227. hoping for an early action.

    I have been charged Rs. Twice Rs. 99 within 24 hrs. for the contents I have never downloded. As the Customercare told me that I downloaded some game but actually No game has been downloaded by me or anyone else by my cell. My second compliant has also not been entertained by them.
    Kindly tell what should I do now .

issue with post paid billings

I am not sure whether any Bharati Airtel Official will ever have a look into this message. Since 2-3 months I am getting around Rs 400 extra in my Airtel Postpaid mobile BILL. When contacted Customer care, the person informed about GPRS activated in my mobile.

Yes, I had activated that my sending a message to 121 (AGPRS) and GPRS was activated within 4 hrs. This was around 15th July. However after 7 days I had sent a message to 121 DGPRS to deactivate the same... but no activity. It didn't got deactivated.

I have messaged 121 several times to deactivate GPRs, it gives me a confirmation regarding the activity, however there is no action taken. When contacted cust care, they informed that GPRS servers are down so call again tomorrow. Did the same again and again... but every time poor airtel's GPRS servers are down.

Contacted cust care again to deactivate my postpaid mobile number... someone informed that the services will be deactivated within 4 hrs. It is still 7 days and there is no activity.

And the best of everything... Superb customer care with all rude agents ready to fight but not ready to help.

    Barati Airtel is a looting network in cognization with DOT and concerned Ministry.
    Every month I am getting a bill of Rs 1500 and above even w/o a single calls .I am now in Delhi, and had taken new number from other network provider.I had sent complaint by e-mail and contacted customer care several time no reply or action.
    My number is registered for DND, but i get so may calls.
    I had given the details by sending e-mails to the customer care, no action.(Date and time of call, called party's number and name, organizations name, destination from which call is received etc).There employees are giving /providing the customers number to promotional call centre's for pocket money.

    Now I decidde to send a complaint to DOT and Ministry of communications .
    Also planning to take this case to consumer court.

    I am not able see by bill sent to my home at Mumbai.I requested them to send a soft copy to me on my e-mail Id, but no response and no result.( I am in Delhi)
    I feels Airtel officials are there to loot the customer, and not to to give service.
    In fact several times they disconnected my out going calls and internationl calls without any reasons. when the out going calls are barred..Even after repeated e-mails they never replied or answered. FOR REACTIVATION I HAVE to Call Mumbai Airtel network by paying from my pocket.Re- activation time they say another FOUR hour, will become 24 hrs or 48 hours.

    The above logo is a VERY VERY suitable one for them. For the last one year Airtel is sending me excess bills for the services that I'm not using. Every month an excess of 300 Rs to 500 Rs for the GPRS is collected, informing that I'm using DADA, WAP, eta. VERY VERY POOR customer service and employes always put presure on me to rate them although they are not able to extend the service. I doubt that Airtel officials are missusing our GPRS connections for acessing internet. If Airtel is serious about keeping their valuable customers they must trace this immediately.
    Shortly I'll be sending all these bills to some of the leading newspapers and TV media for publishing. I have already informed them by showing these bills.
    With repeated request also Airtel still deny to return the amount of 2800 Rs collected from my bills. BEGGERS AIRTEL.

    Sir my no. is 9805458501. There is special recharge tariff activated on given number on which my call rate after 11:00 Pm become 9 paise to local airtel number. On 20 september i call to airtel local number after 11:00 Pm. This call is about of 84 minutes. The charge on this call must be 9 paise per minute. But i charged 90 paise per minute at that night. i.e. my overall call balance cut for that call is Rs 75.9. which must be 7.59. Sir your system gonna big mistake. I informed it to customer care. They just said your complaint is forwarded and you will get your account balance back. But till no Account balance is refunded.
    Please take an appropriate step on it.

very very unprofeesional, unethical and rude behaviour

The person concirned is not even in the town, still my father agreed to pay the amount which was decided mutually between my father and a gentleman-Vikram and Pawan.The figure quoted over the phone was totally differrent from what was quoted when the person(praveen) actually came to my house to collect.

When we wanted to confirm the same over the phone, the representatives were extremely rude, unethical and unproffesional.

Would never like to deal with Airtel any longer.

Your representatives don't even care to use false and abbusive letter over the phone, also, deny sending a settlement letter even after getting the payment.


Really don't know if it can be rectified in any ways or means...

excess billing

We had a prepaid Airtel Mobile (No. [protected]). Sometime back, we started getting messages "Thank you for using Airtel services". We ignored these messages initially not knowing why these messages were sent to us by Airtel.

One day, my daughter noticed that there was a deduction of ~ Rs.30 from our a/c balance. This was just a coincidence as she had checked balance in our a/c previous day. At that moment, I complained to Airtel and I was told that the deduction was on a/c of "subscription for download from Yahoo.com". We had not subscribed to this. Then I contacted Nodal Officer of Airtel who promised to revert back within 1-2 hours. We didn't receive any response that day. Next day when I checked, the excuse given was that she did not respond that day as their system was not working. In the meantime, we got another similar message "Thanks ..." and this time deduction was Rs.100. On checking with Airtel, I "learnt" that we had subscribed this time to Hungama.com. Again a big surprise for us.

Not satisfied with the response from Nodal Officer, I took up this matter with Appellate Officer. Again same story was repeated (I believe now that Airtel system is down most of the time).

I had sent this complaint through email (with many reminders) and also followed up on phone. But no response was received even from Airtel Appelate Officer (who is supposed to be the higher authority for looking into and resolving customer grievances)

After returning from my tour, I again followed up with Airtel and now I received credit of about Rs.100 (out of Rs.160 deducted - This does not include any deductions before my daughter noticed this problem) after listening to same excuse one more time. When I asked this Appellate Officer why Airtel did not respond earlier (for more than 1 month), I was told that the Appellate Officer whom had contacted earlier has left the company (Note : Email ID of Appellate Officer is not in the name of any individual).

The result is :

I have decided to discontinue using Airtel Mobile no. [protected]. I don't want to recharge it again and whatever balance is there as of today, I am sure that will eventually become ZERO soon even if I don't make any calls from this phone.

The above clearly shows that Mobile operators are charging consumers for the services they have not used. This way mobile operators may be making huge profits but at the cost of consumer.

That is not a big amount for which my no. was deactivated . Actually if bill generated I was surely made the payment b'coz a single payment was pending at my end against mobile no. 9890339496 . Then what is the reason behind deactivation of my no.

    When I visited your airtel outlet they are saying your mobile no. is not showing in our system, we are unable to help you .

airtel - poor network - poor service

I have recently relocated to Pune and got a new Airtel postpaid connection through the agent who came to my company (IBM) for corporate connection.
The agent had promised me an activation time of 4 hours and it took almost 24 hours for activation.
But the real trouble came after that. The signal strength is extremely weak at most places. I cannot talk for more than 5 minutes continuously. If I take a call in my car while traveling to office from Aundh to Hinjewadi, the call gets dropped every 4-5 minutes. I never get the signal in my office- situated in the supposed to be IT hub of Pune - Hinjewadi Phase 2. And most of the times even when the network coverage is there while you make call it says "Network Busy".
I never get the signal at my home - in Aundh. Why do they come for corporate connection to the company when they know about the signal quality at the building? The customer support executives never attend to your queries well. You never get to talk to them.

Poor network - call drop every 5 minutes - poor service quality - poor support- Pathetic experience I had with Airtel

    I have recently relocated to Pune(from last 1 year) and convert my prepaid Airtel connection to corporate postpaid connection.I am facing network problem at home.I never ever able to make calls or recieve calls at home.I had made lot of complaints to the customer care but no result come out.

    I am using Airtel mobile since five years and right now near my house a new Airtel tower has been installed around half kilometer far away from my home... Today, i can't use your network because of bad network and low coverage.. So everybody is shifting to BSNL.. BSNL tower is one and half kilometer faraway but still their network is better.. So I kindly request you to take a suitable measures to rectify the problem persisting in the tower and do it rectified... The tower is Located at the following area,

harassment / (demand of extra charges) due to negligence of airtel india

Hi All,

I know that it is bit long story. I tried to shorten the same, read it may be helpful for you.

I beleive that the customers are the best advertisement for the business. Airtel will remain third class serivce provider for me forever.

Airtel is claiming that they are better service provide. But without the shadow of any doubt i can say that they are third class serice provider in the world. They believe in charging there customer for which they are not supposed to be.

Here is my story:

One year back I was having airtel postpaid connection, which was valid for 2 years with some advance rental in Delhi. Now as layman every one will understand that this connection will be closed after 2 yrs or will only be continued with the consent of him/herself.

But in my case, they continued my connection without my consent. I am not even sure about the tariff they applied for me. Based on the connection validity I took some better plan from different operator and stopped using Airtel connection one/two months before the expiry date.

Luckly i did not dispose that SIM card and after 4/5 months I thought to dispose the same. I was surprised to see that it was still active.

Since I have been shift to some other state by that time, I tried to call 121 and asked to close my connection as soon as possible. Customer care said my request has been forwarded and i will get at call from Delhi branch with 24 hours. But there was no call and no reference no. has been give to track the same. I have tired 4-5 time for same within 2 weeks. But Alas !! No action.

Then I sent mail at [protected]@airtelindia.com and called directly at Delhi customer care. So connection got closed.

Now they are looking for the bill from me for none of my fault. I haven't receive any bill copy thru e-mail/(call at alternative no.)/postal (this can be ruled out, as my address was changed).

Somehow they traced my new no. and I have been threaten by the repersentative(s) of Airtel to pay some amount (appox Rs 1600 and ready to settle at Rs 600) 6 months back. I told them clearly, this is not my mistake and verify with customer care. They started saying some case has been filed bla bla bla. They called thrice and kept quiet.

Now they are repeating the same story these day. I sent a mail to customer care and there is not respose from last 4 days and at the same time they are assuring that they will process my query within 24 hour.

The fate of this case is still not decided, Let us see how its goes. I am planning to file a case against the same in consumer court very soon to set example for these type dakoit.

    I have taken 9996924470 from airtel 2 months back. Till date they have not activated the number even after submitting all the documents at Kanhaiya chowk, yamunanagar airtel office. The office maintains they have sent the documents to their central office, the central office says they have not received the docs. Very poor customer care, no body should subscribe to airtel services. Company's customer care behaves like telephone operator without giving any solution to customer problem.

deduction of charges without accessing anything

Respected sir,
I rohit puri staying in bangalore hereby inform you that I have got an airtel connection
(Prepaid) and I am using it for the past one year but did not face any problem. But am sorry to inform you that for the past 2 months my balance is been deducted without I accessing to any sort downloading of music, news, comics etc. I have filed so many complaints but nobody even cares to even attend it. I had such a good impression of airtel and its after sale services but am sorry to say that if this continues to be the case then I have to surrender my sim card. Kindly look into this matter as early as possible and desctivate my comic and music immediatedly and refund the amount if possible.

Please refer to the complaint under reference. I have to inform you that the music has since been deactivated but the comics has not. I understand that again rs.10 / - has been deducted from the balance despite my complaint to you to stop it immediately as it was never asked for nor has been ever used. I fail to understand you all are doing there, if you can do a simple job to disconnect the services which have never asked and I am been charged for. I am not getting proper attention of the customer service people.

2. At last I would request you to discontinue the comics services immediately from your end and stop charging the money failing which I would be forwarding this to your head and chairman too. Please treat it as my final reminder.

    My self sunil using mobile no 9880602573 using your service past 2 years, my complaint is we are not getting GPRS service near OVERHAUL DIVISION, HAL, BANGALORE-17.
    Nearly 1000 employers of HAL using this Airtel service, no one is getting this GPRS service as above mentioned tower address, we are requesting you to provide the service as early as possible.

unauthorised disconnection of postpaid connection

After paying for my mobile postpaid bill and the payment has wrongly been credited to someone else's account, my postpaid connection has been disconnected saying non receipt of payment. After one month, the wrongly credited payment has been recredited to my account, but all these days, my mobile service was disconnected. Subsequently another invoice has been raised for the so called usage during the disconnection for which i had not made payment. Still my mobile has not been resumed service.

international roaming not working

I have made payment Rs. 6500/- Sr. N0 1306564 in Chembur, Mumbai, India office of Airtel Mobile on 27th May 2008 for international roaming for Jeddah and on 16th August i asked airtel above branch to activite my roaming for the number +91 [protected]... still today i have not been able to do any calls as there is no network showing...They promised the network will starte within 4 works ...I want as soon as possible the roaming to be done ...it is very bad of Airtel...

I got a new postpaid connection from Airtel. After one week my connection is not working. It is suddenly inactive SIM. I have called many times to customer care. They said that you have given the address is negative. But, i am staying there. I got the their bill also. And, i have make a call to representative guy who is working in Airtel, (His name is balakrishnan, Mobile no. is [protected]) he is not giving the proper answer. Some times he is not pick up. Totally, their service is worst. I am not satisfying for their service. Better I have to move or change some other connection.

    I had applied for post paid plan 199 CUG & Airtel representative Mr. Nimesh contact no. 98600048672 provide me a SIM 89919004214358333 on dated 01/09/2008. He assured me that it will activate with in 24 hrs. But after regular follow up still it is unactivated. I had spent about 100 rupee in follow up. I had lodge comlaint on this site on dated 11/09/08 as well as Nodal officer Maharastra on dated 12/09/2008. Can Airtel Bharti tell me that it will activated or not. If reply is in No then I can go for other service provider.

registration to airtel website

I'm unable to register onto the airtel website. I got the first time password to my mobile. But when I try to login to the website, it asks me for details like name etc. It asks me for DoB. But the day drop down does not have anything but guess what "day". How enlightening!!!. I'm unable to enter the day and the website doesn't allow me to progress further until I do enter a "valid date"... whatever that means here...

Will they look into it???

    i am not getting my detailed bills from 3-4 months at my residence thats why facing problems.
    November months bill is too high as added late charges, but as i am not getting the bill, this is not my fault.
    This is due to very poor airtel service, so the customer should not face any problem due to poor service.

no response from airtel for getting broadband connection

I contacted Airtel Broadband customer service for getting Airtel broadband service to my home PC. I reside in New Perungalathur, Chennai. During my conversation, they are responding well and informed me that their representative will come to my place for address verification & connection facility. But for the last four days, i was following Airtel, but no response from them. I need the Broadband connection urgently. What i have to do now?

    3 years back I taken touchtel connection (which is airtel now) 080-41217365. while taking the connection they taken around 4000/- towards installation charges which is refundable. last month I closed connection and asked them to refund my Initial deposit. Now customer care simply saying I didnt pay any amount. Please suggest me how can I get back my money .

    I have tried for airtel broadband connection since one year. There is a connection near my house about 100metres. But airtel staff visited my house and they said that they are unable to give a connection to me.Why they are not giving broadband connection.
    Airtel is giving many advertisement in many newspapers about airtel broadband service but there is no use of it. Please donot advertise about broadband connection all the advertisements are making people fool.

    I have taken new connection having no - 07480-401231 with airtel broadband connection but since now our connection is not activated . when we contacted to customer service and submit complain vide complain no 8780847 dtd 06.10.07 at 12.00 pm your customer service is not taking seroius in this regard.
    please look into the matter
    please advertise about services that you solve it within hour .

    Hi mate,

    I agree. even am residing in same area. I called the customer care and air tel dealer agarwal infosys in chennai. Everyone is telling that they will give a call within ten minutes but still i havent got a call. useless guys. if it goes in this way then airtel wont get a single customer in future. So please choose some other connection dont go airtel. Poor response.

    Hi,
    I am also residing in New perungalathur, Srinivasa Nagar. Airtel BB Advertised with banner ads all over the New perungalathur area. Contacted the toll free number given on the banner and requested for new connection. Someone unknown named executive responded for the call after two days. But that useless fellow says no feasibility in the area. If no feasibility then why they are advertising like this? Useless airtel BB.

about my account recovery

I am the user of airtel service about 5years. But in between 3 month when i recharged my mobile account, automatically 50 rupees has been deducted. I have complaint about this matter but customer always replies" we will treat your complain within 48 hours, " but there is no response... recently i have sent complaint message to 121 in 2nd aug. 2008 but no response...

I called Airtel customer care for the cancellation of my postpaid Add on as I lost my sim and hand set.The agent said that it is disconnected. But after 4 months I checked the hard copy of my mobile bill and i was still getting the bill for my add on. They take the money for my bill from my credit card so i was ignorant of this. After this I called around 20 times to disconnect the add on but they were insisting mr to take another number. I also paid around 1400 unnecessarily for the other number which they didn't refund. Its a very big torture. I am switching to Vodafone.

    i m ur postpaid customer who had lost his usb modem few days ago how so ever i got my duplicate sim.i have my connection of gurgaon.now i am in banglore and since last 20 days i m running from 1 store to another for usb.and ur agents r denying 4m giving it.

    i cud not understand the reason..wat kind of services ur r providing to ur customer jst ponder over it.plz reply
