We booked 2xsectors with AirAsia as connecting flights.
They rescheduled the first flight which meant we would miss the connection.
They gave us the option to refund the flights. We selected this option.
We rebooked with another carrier in the meantime as this happened a few days before we planned to travel.
We told AirAsia that we were not flying with them.
They subsequently got in touch to say our 'case was closed' and no refund would be forthcoming.
We have had no further contact with them and keep getting shut down by their chatbot Bo without being passed to a human for the complaints proceedings. Are we going to have to pursue legal action just to get them to talk to us?
Really disgusted with them. Is this an instance of fraud against a consumer? Please help
Desired outcome: Dialogue with a human representative of AirAsia and refund of the money for the flights that they rescheduled which we did not take.
