We had a warranted Hot Water Heater installed in July, 2025. The plumber assigned would not turn in the hot water heater permit (NJ HVAC Plumber) even though the manager Christian said he would. The plumber was very difficult to deal with, would not return phone calls/texts and never turned in a hot water heater permit. This unit failed 4 times before they wrote it up as needing to be replaced (still under warranty) I have been 11 days so far without a new hot water heater, calling AHS every day, they have "escalated it" but this means nothing. No one in the company is taking responsibility to resolve this and get me a new unit installed. I have also requested a new plumber or authorization to use a reliable one outside of their network. So far, they have not authorized such. I have requested speaking with a supervisor daily and they refuse to transfer me to such (higher manager than an esculation person) They say they need to create a "ticket" and a supervisor will call me that day. To-date, no supervisor has called. I am calling daily to get help. AHS is TERRIBLE--Poor service, Poor communication and responsibility to do the right thing and resolve/install the equipment.
Recommendation: I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I have also filed a complaint with BBB and will authorize TV network interview on such poor service by AHS
