American Home Shield itself does a pretty decent job. But the contractors they send to your house to fix whether it be a furnace HVAC system or refrigerators leave a lot to be desired on average. It will take you 4 to 8 weeks to get anything fixed. Took us eight weeks to get a furnace repaired which actually needed replaced which we paid for half the cost now we’re waiting 4 to 5 weeks to get a refrigerator repaired even though we have the parts here at our house.American Home Shield will do nothing to help you speed up the process they use national repair services. They need to use more regional repair services but they don’t!

Recommendation: Check out other home warranty services! It may cost a little more, but will save you a lot of frustrations
