booked and paid for Royal Highland Hotel with Agoda and received confirmation of booking from AGODA
On arrival at hotel was told they were full up and had no arrangement with Agoda. I am 81 years old and very shocked.the hotel let me use the gents toilet to unpack and get changed for the meeting I came to Inverness for.
They tried in vane for over an hour to make contact with Agoda.
I left my case with them and left for my meeting.
later when I had cooled down a bit I managed to book a local hotel for the night.I have traveled a lot in my life but never been so badly treated.
Since getting home I have tried in vain to contact Agoda but seems mission impossible.
They owe me £71.48 and I am at a loss as to how I will recover this money.

I call customer service they said will solve my problem in 2-3days for receiving refund... After I waiting... They said the hotel didn't press refund button... And my money cant get refund...

I am trying to book 7 nights in Dubai (two rooms) in the month of November on the agoda application. I am trying to make the payment since last two days and I also tried credit card and different debit cards but none of them shows me successful payment. I am literally pissed off of this procedure. Kindly give me the solution as soon as possible because the prices of the rooms are surging at a very exponential rate. I had already received a rate of Rs.68, 422/- with breakfast. And now I am getting the surged charges about 88, 000/-. This is just very unfair on your part. Kindly give me valid payment link on the old rate of Rs.68, 422/- so that I can confirm my booking.

The New York hotel

I booked a room for the night of Sunday, 26 September at Tewksbury Premier Inn costing £64.47. When I arrived they had no knowledge of the booking and fortunately they had a room available, however, I had to pay for the room there and then. My ID No [protected]. As your booking a room for me was a sham, I was stuck at the reception for ages while they checked and double checked to find the non existent Agoda booking. Please refund my money ASAP. Mrs A Henry

Second time I've complained. We booked paid for two nights stay at 109 Sussex gardens london only to be put up in 92 Sussex gardens london the classic hotel London. Room 12 was our room and it was not fit for a pig let alone human. Filthy skirting boards dirty shower and dirty floor ripped iron marked bedding stained curtains grimy windows.. not fit for purpose. Slept on top of bed fully clothed due to state of it. Got moved to another room which was cleaner but TV and fan didn't work and wifi didn't work in basement. Falsified information on booking sites ..this hotel is foul and a disgrace.. not fit for humans it's filthy. If we could have got a coach home Saturday night we would have done. Feel we deserve some sort of compensation for our stay. Why on earth have the classic hyde park hotel listed for bookings when it's obvious from peoples reviews that they are being offloaded to the dump known as the classic hotel at 92 Sussex gardens.

I booked a room at the Quality Inn, 96 Daniel Drive, Danville, KY, 40422, for Saturday, September 25, 2021. Total price was $212.83. Upon arrival and being checked in, it was discovered the room was not in usable condition. There were no other rooms available at the hotel. Management states the problem is their fault and that a refund will be issued. However, I must request the refund through the booking agency as the booking agency forwards payment for the room to the hotel and the hotel must refund payment to the booking agency for refund to the customer. Please promptly process the refund to my credit card used in this transaction. Thank you.

We booked to stay in Classic hyde park hotel 109 Sussex gardens london on 24-26 September 2021. We ended up in The Classic hotel 92 Sussex gardens london instead. My booking info shows the classic hyde park.
We were put in room 12 of 92 Sussex gardens london and it was filthy. Thick of dust on skirting boards. Ripped bedding..filthy curtains and windowsill..filthy shower tray and dirty bathroom floor..three out of five bulbs in main light were not working. The hall stair carpet was badly stained and looked like it had not seen a hoover in weeks. Very run down dirty hotel would not recommend. Would like to know why when we were booked in at 109 Sussex gardens we were then put in this dirty hotel. I have original booking info which shows the hotel as 109 Sussex gardens and also it shows image of the bedroom we should have been staying in.. unfortunately this we didn't get. The quality of room 12 was disgraceful and should not be available for guests as it is not clean also had outdated scruffy furniture. When I complained was told the bed sheets could be changed but manager on reception at time stated cleaners had put clean bedding on but as I stated it was ripped and had scorch marks on it. If we could have got a coach home earlier we would have done. Agoda who we booked through should alter their listings. I have seen many negative reviews from people who had booked for classic hyde park hotel only to end up in the classic hotel over road which is a out and out dump. Reception staff seemed to change every four/five hours and they seemed I'll equipped about how to deal with comments.
Really annoyed about this hotel as it spoilt our mini break being in this filthy place.
It was so bad I slept on top of bed in my clothes. After complaining I was told we would be moved to a better room..while room was cleaner there was no WiFi signal as we were in basement room..the TV was broken and the fan did not work.
The image included is what was shown on our booking confirmation from Agoda the classic hyde park hotel London. Please note the room we received was not that room. We were placed in room 12 of the classic hotel London number92 Sussex gardens london which was attrocious.

Checked in on a Friday night during first trip to Brussels, and was given a twin room. Having checked it out, I came back and asked why it wasn't a double room, since it was smaller and had no ensuite toilet. I was shown a printed sheet with my name and 'single room' written on it, but wasn't allowed to have a copy or take a picture with my phone. Phoned agoda customer service, and was assured the matter would be resolved by asking for a double room. No follow-ups - I called again, and was told that the hotel would be phoned directly. Again, no information from their side. After spending over 3 hours with 3 different reps, was finally told that I should pay the extra money the hotel demanded for a double room upgrade, but that there was 'no guarantee' that agoda would refund it. Repeatedly sticking to 'we need to verify the incident' was a pathetic substitution for supporting their client, since Belgium had a public holiday in effect, and the hotel wasn't accommodating their guest.

We booked from Agoda and the host cancelled the booking and told us that they already process the cancellation and the refund but it's already 2 weeks and we haven't receive the refunds. ***see the photo below for reference, they message us through message in agoda, please help us to retrieve our money, the host didn't cooperate well so it's our for us to call and call them.

I booked hotel tabla pride, Banjara hill 1, Hyderabad for 2 days ..after reaching hotel from airport I found hotel is totally closed & not working .. please refund my money

I made a booking for 2 rooms (double occupancy) at the Romano Palace Hotel (18-22 Sep) at 6.17pm at a cost of €888.36. I was allowed a full refund if cancelled within 24 hours and I cancelled the booking at 6.22pm, 5 minutes after the original booking. I cancelled as despite booking for double occupancy the confirmation e-mail indicated single occupancy. I received an immediate confirmation of cancellation stating I'd receive a full refund of €454.51 which I did, a shortfall of €433.85. The Agoda e-mail indicated cancellation of only one room but online the full 2 room booking was cancelled. This is simply theft. I will not be using Agoda again as they simply are not trustworthy with no customer service available to resolve such disputes. The worst service ever!

I have made a booking on Agoda's website for ocean Breeze in blouberg strand Cape Town South Africa for the period 9-11 July 2021. After paying on Agoda's website, I had no communication from the hosts. I arrived at the address of ocean Breeze Raats Drive 44 Bayside Terrace, Bloubergstrand, Cape Town, South Africa, 7441. Upon my arrival the premises were locked, there were nobody there, I have asked the neighbours for keys, and they did not know anything about keys. There was nobody else to contact and it was dark, I had to book emergency accommodation elsewhere as I could not stay in the ocean breeze where I booked.
Agoda answer back to me is that it is not a refundable accommodation. I agree, but the place does not operate anymore, so there were no services to render, bookings should not take place if the place does not operate anymore, this is bad service and if something reasonable is not going to be done, i will have to do a chargeback through my bank for services not rendered
