Agoda Recent stay at Aubrey Park Hotel

Recent stay on 8th August for 3 nights. No hot water in our room.

We were given a key to another room on the first night but not ideal going across corridors in towels.

We were told that the maintenance man would try and fix the problem. If it was unable to be fixed then they offered us another room.

As we were out all day watching our son play cricket we rang the hotel at 7pm to see if it had been fixed and we were told by reception that it had therefore we did not rush back. Our plan was to come back early to move rooms if we needed to. As we were told it had been fixed we came back to the hotel at 10pm only to find we still had no hot water and it could not be fixed but we felt it was not appropriate to pack up and move rooms this late at night.

Again we were given another key for a different room to use the bathroom to have a shower.

As we only had one more night we felt it was not worth packing up all our belonging's and moving room's. You expect to have the basic's like hot water if you are staying in a hotel and unfortunately we did not.

Desired outcome: I would like a response and possibly some kind of refund.

Agoda False Advertising

I made a booking through AGODA 26 Aug 2022, booking ID [protected]. The advertised booking stated both breakfast and dinner were invluded in the price. Agter making tge booking and paying I called Agoda to confirm the booking included both breakfast and dinner. The Agoda representative contacted the hotel, Sura Hagia Sophia, and was advised that the booking DID NOT INCLUDE either breakfast or dinner. I then asked your representative to cancel my booking. I am very disappointed that Agoda could advertise something which was not available and if I had not checked with your representative could hVe arrived at the hotel and been involved in a very embarrassing situation. I have attached a photo of your advertised price and what that price included

Desired outcome: Any chance I could get what was advertised, that is breakfast and dinner, at the price advertised?

Agoda Failure to provide entitled rewards on booking due to system error

I am so frustrated as they wanted me to provide a screenshot of the booking - but who does this? I have never booked with Agoda WITHOUT being entitled to and receiving NZ Flybuys - and wouldn't. I am only interested in a rewards program on services I use. There is a system error in that on booking the points were available and on confirmation they had 'apparently disappeared', according to the 100s of people who have emailed me. This is not my error and is completely unjust!

Desired outcome: Firstly, acknowledge the error belongs to Agoda.Secondly, reward me appropriately.Thirdly, credit my account for accommodationFourthly, do not continually tell me there is 'nothing that can be done'

Agoda - Failure to provide entitled rewards on booking due to system error

I booked an 8-day stay in Gold Coast Australia at end of May 2022. Agoda Cancellation fee

Belle Maison Hadana Hoi An managed by H&K Hospitality.

I booked 2 hotel for a family 12 member through Agoda.

At the end, we decided stay in the Silkian Hoi An.

Then I canceled this booking. But actually, I accidentally did not do the cancellation properly because of the cancel button not quite easy to see.

However, I contacted with Agoda, the hotel owner won’t refund my money back but I am still not happy with the outcome.

I did not receive any message from the hotel about my booking, like a good service I suggest.

Desired outcome: I would like to get my money back or voucher. Please considering my case.

Agoda Parking

We have booked accommodation with Agoda that said parking is included. We choose the more expensive option because it included parking. Now Agoda won’t pay the hotel for parking and are saying we have to pay extra for parking. They won’t give us a refund because it was non refundable. I will send photos of the options they provide that included and don’t include parking.

Agoda Hotel reservation

12am my husband Mr omar arrived at the cleopatra city hotel alanya, and he was told there was no reservation there for us after showing the reservation booking details he was told it wasn't to be accepted but they would give him a room as it was late and I was arriving at 2am and we could speak to the manager in the morning. When I arrived I was told of the problem I was really shocked as I had looked online and booked agoda for this visit.

20th of July 2022

In the morning I went and spoke to the manger but I got upset and called for my husband to come speak with him after they spoke the manager then spoke to me again and explained his situation with agoda that they hadn't paid him in 3 months and he really couldn't accept the booking over this matter. I contacted agoda there and then but I got cut off by a connection error. I contacted them again and spoke to another agent explaining the situation. There response was they would contact the hotel and get back to me, I told the manager to expect a call from agoda. As all this was going on The payment for agoda was pending in my account. We had some cash with us for a car hire for our journey from alanya to antayla. For our wedding.. As its over a 2 hours drive each way, and on the, 21,23,25 of July we had to travel for different things...

21st for bloods to be taken

23rd to get married

25th to have all our documents legalised.

But we had felt like we had no option but to keep the money for the car hire and we then had to book a coach to travel to antyla, but the car hire was a very important part of completing our wedding.. We did hope that the hotel and agoda would resolve it between them, But on the 21st of July agoda took the payment from my account and I spoke to the manager and he said he still didn't aceppt the booking from agoda now faced with a unreal situation we dealt with it how we could. I sent a message to our wedding organisers only on the way by coach explaining our plans have changed and of the car situation, and we couldn't meet him at the test center so he came and picked us up at the antayla bus station, we spoke to Mr firat our wedding planer of all that had happened and he seen with us with much stress of the matter and the 37° heat didn't help the situation nor the traveling by coach. And of what we had to endure to complete our married now.. Traveling back and fourth on a coach to complete all we had to in antalya. so he said he could help by getting us married on that day withing 4 hours and have our documents legalised also. With no assurance of retrieving the money back from adgoa and having to pay for the hotel again we felt like we had no other option but just to marry there and then. With no friends as witnesses no wedding etire, no celebrations as it would take in full 7/8 hours travel time included.. we travelled back after it was all complete and went to the hotel and stayed there for the rest of the evening exhausted eating some food at the bus station on the way back. We didn't call our friends or family I think we were in great shocked what we sacrificed because the situation was out of our hands, and what we had planned was not what we got .. It was actually one of the worse days of our life but we completed it all in 1 day.

we are married, (The only positive thing I can say).

I contacted agoda and cancelled the contract with them they said under the circumstances of the manager not willing to accept the booking they would send the payment back, but it can take up to 30 days i tried to get it back sooner but that was there final word really. It did come back on the 25th of July but that was to late by then but we did paid for the rest of our stay at the hotel that day.. But all this could've been easily avoided if adoda had paid the cleopatra City hotel in alanya. Our hopes and dreams where destroyed over this matter I don't speak to anyone of my own wedding day its not worth to show our wedding pictures as we were dressed for summer casual to go get bloods taken not to get married. Our celebrations and plans for the wedding day given up because we were left no other choice. And apart from this complaint It not something I like to even think of...

Desired outcome: I don't think we are being unrealistic when we ask that we would like to go back to alanya and redo our wedding again as it was planned with agoda covering all costs.. this is all any woman wants on her special day.

Agoda Reservation at hotel in india

I booked a room at Click Hotels, Nasik on 23-8-22 for a check in on 24-8-22 and check-out on 25-8-22 - 1 room 1 occupant - THROUGH AGODA.

I was charged Rs 1532.16 towards the room tariff. I received a mail informing me of a confirmed Booking ID #[protected].

I got a mail confirming the booking and the Booking ID.

Agoda Arrived at hotel and no reservation Hotel fully booked

In April I booked a hotel in Namibia for arrival 21 August for 3 nights thru Priceline. Was fully prepaid and non-refundable After flying 20 hours, get to hotel and they don’t have reservation for me and hotel fully booked. I complained to Priceline and was told the booking was done thru Agoda and to contact Agoda. Hotel name is House on Olof Palme in Windhoek, Namibia under name of Shaw Reservation number is [protected].

Hotel has never heard of either Priceline or Agoda.

I want my prepayment refunded and taxi fee to second hotel refunded.

Agoda Agoda hotel booking

Dear sir,

I booked via agoda app a hotel name Oz Hotel antalia resort & Spa, in turkey.

booking was for 4 nights, we booked one 19th and check-in was 20th Aug. Ref [protected] n booking no [protected].

At the online description all information was clear with family, so we proceeded with payment.

After few minutes we tried to check location n services of the hotel and we accessed the website, we found that hotel is for ADULT only, we contacted them to confirm, and the operator said this hotel is for adult n we don't accept children and they asked me to cancel the booking. And I asked them to reject the booking n she said she will do.

I accessed the agoda app booking n canceled the booking, where it shows that will charges for full amount.

The agoda app do not have a method to contact anyone to get proper assistance,the robot has very specific QnA that do not transfer you to someone to assist.

So, I would like to get the refund bcz the service of your app or getting proper help is not provided.

Looking forward to your assistance.

Agoda Booking issues

So I booked natal spa 3 times with agoda. Each time I put in 2 adults and 2 kids. But the confirmation after paying shows only 1 adults.

They tried to help me,but want me to pay huge difference in rates. Ridiculous and fed up! I don't want to cancel my booking just to add 1 more adult and 2 kids!

Agoda Credit card details stolen from agoda

In the midst of making several reservations with Agoda for Jan/Feb2023 holiday, my credit card was fraudulently charged by another similarly named company GCS AGODA INTERNATIONA (sic) ROZELLE AUS to the sum of AUD365.96

It appears that the fraudsters waited until my card was frequently used by Agoda, and then slipped in the extra charge, hoping it would be overlooked.

I have since cancelled this card. Attached is a pdf of the transaction from my bank.

I have two problems:

1. How do I get my AUD365.96 returned and

2. How do I pay for my booked hotels in the future, now that I am extremely unwilling to register another credit card with Agoda. I have been a very happy Customer over many years with Agoda.

Agoda booking #[protected] at Grand East Hotel Resort and Spa

I faced two problems with this reservation:

1. I called the hotel and they do not have my reservation in their system.

2. I received the receipt of the hotel reservation with the amount in Jordan Dinar (JOD) but you charged my credit card in Dollars. Charging my credit card in Dollars, will make the bank who issued the card charge me more money since you charged me in Dollars. The bank will charge me as if the 1 dollar = 0.743 JOD instead of 1 dollar=0.708... The bank adds also 0.003 % as charge to this transaction.

The bottom line...I selected the currency as JOD and I recieved the receipt in JOD...why did you charge my credit card in Dollars.

Thank you

Desired outcome: 1. Refund me the difference that the bank charged me.2. I need a confirmation for my reservation. Please contact hotel for that.

Agoda Refund payment

Good morning,

Due to a technical error at Agoda, my booking [protected] was cancelled by you at July 19th, 2022. I received a mail stating that i could get a refund of IDR 1,974,873 by filling out the form in Hyperwallet that you sent me.

I did.

However, after three days I got a message that the transfer was cancelled because of incorrect information (i.e. wrong name, account number or bank). However, that information was 100% correct and the name exactly the same as I used when making the reservation.

Long story short: I have been trying to get that refund for almost a month now, every three days claiming for on of my two bank accounts - to no avail and the deadline is now almost there.

Could you please refund the money in another way than Hyperwallet?

agoda confirmation number [protected],i booked this hotel with you and when the confirmation came back i realized it had come back with one person ,which i needed two .imediatly i called back and told the agent what had happened ,they said they would make a case of it ,idid not hear nothing in 48 hours ,so called again and talked your agent gian waited 48 hours called again on august the 8th and talked to agent emma ,i explained the situation to her that i had booked and there was a penalty for cancellation,but she told me i could cancel and rebook with no penalty,i said are you sure and she convinced me it was ok i again said i dont want to cancel if there is a penalty ,she again said it would be ok ,i then got an email from the hotel saying i would fofiet the money i had been charged 2,750 dollars ,i did not want to cancel and still want to go to the hotel same dates ,i had already booked our flights ,now i am left being 2,750 dollars out and no holiday .so i called again and talked to Gian ,she said she would make a case and get back within 48 hours ,i still have heard nothing ,like i said why would i cancel and loose allthat money only your agent told me i could rebook ,this has been very very stressfull for me as you might understand ,i dont have the money to book another holiday .please please contact the hotel and let them know i did not want to cancel and still want to go the same dates and if there is an extra charge for my wife i will pay,Thomas Goulding

Agoda Handling of the customer service

I am writing this to complain the handling of your customer service regarding my booking #[protected]. I have received an email on 08Aug and claimed there is a rate error on my confirmed booking and need to change the rate to be higher rate instead; or else, my booking will be cancelled. I had confirmed with the rate change; however, I have received another email again for room rate amendment again. Whatever problem you have, it’s your problem , not mind. I do not know what kind of solution that the customer service is providing and what kind of service that they are providing. Through the communication, I have suggest your team to reply before they have solution or explanation regarding the exempted gov’ tax in Macau before waste my time. However, I got an answer from Lisa. O and asked me to check the confirmed booking statement about the tax. Which means she did not check anything before her reply. It’s wasting my time on the communication with the customer service team, and also on writing this complaint.

one is OYO and the other REDDOORZ and deducted $137.84 and $151.19 from my master card. I only booked REDDOORZ, so please make the correction, cancel the OYO and refund $137.84 to my account as I did not book OYO.

Agoda Booking ID [protected] - Opera House Suites hotel in Hanoi Vietnam

I have a booking with Agoda for my stay at The Opera House Suites hotel, in 02 Trang Tien Alley, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam from 03 Aug to 09 Aug 2022. However, upon check-in, I realized the hotel room (which is 401 and so-called Japanese room) is very small and weirdly designed. All of the photos are purportedly photoshoped. As I checked in quite late by around 9pm (3rd Aug 2022) after a long working day, I had no choice but to continue staying at this hotel for one night. At the moment of writing this complaint which is 9h30pm Vietnam time on the 4th Aug 2022, I have to cancel my stay at this hotel and could not claim back a part of my payment (which is paid by credit card on the 2nd Aug 2022) because the hotel said my payment was with Agoda, not directly with them. To all other customers, please beware of Agoda terrible product offerings. I doubt if Agoda ever checks if the hotel is good or bad, and just accepting and promoting low quality hotel like this Opera House Suites hotel with faslely photoshoped photos.

Desired outcome: Please apologize and refund my unused 6 nights at this hotel.
