This company has been an ongoing source of frustration. Our insurance requires us to use them, but every time we call, we receive a completely different explanation. They delayed my son’s medication for weeks, first claiming they were waiting on insurance approval—even though our insurer confirmed the approval had already been granted.
Then they insisted my son had a secondary insurance plan he does not have. We had to contact that insurer ourselves and obtain a letter confirming he wasn’t covered. After providing that, the pharmacy suddenly claimed they never had him listed with secondary insurance in the first place.
My son is now two weeks overdue for his medication, and for the past week we’ve been told the shipment is delayed due to a snowstorm in the Southeast. It appears they have no contingency plans for weather or any other disruption that affects shipping.
For a specialty pharmacy handling critical medications, this level of disorganization and lack of preparedness is unacceptable.
