This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

My 80 year old friend has an Acorn chairlift. They advertise 24/7 customer service for emergencies. He lift went out. She has no bedrooms downstairs. Everything personal she needs is upstairs. She tried to call during the day. They referred her to someone who could help her make an appointment to get an appointment. She kept trying their different numbers to try to get an emergency appointment. Every number led back to the same recorded message.

Not only was it an emergency then, a week ago, but today she’s having surgery and they are not coming out until Monday. On top of that, the unit beeps every minute two times 24/7.

I emailed Acorn and asked them to call her to make an appointment. They did not respond to my email, nor contact her.

Please do not accept their advertising. It is false advertising once the lift is in. Plus they charge $600 every 6 months for servicing.

I hope you can remove this dishonest company from your promotional advertising.

Thank you,

Shari Schreiber

Desired outcome: Remove Acorn Chairlift advertising
