Yelp.com Accounting firm

Hired xcellent accounting/ elp tax group to take care of my tax needs and they failed. Returns were done wrong and filed late. They are currently under investigation by the accounting accuracy board. Took them to small claims court and got a judgement for all the money back that I paid them, won. They never satisfied the judgement. Stay away from these people

Yelp.com Vacation package

I booked and paid for a trip to Cancun for February 2022. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel. I reached an agent to cancel my trip and was told it would take 30-60 days for my money to be refunded. I can't believe it takes that long to process a refund. This is most unprofessional and predatory company. I warn everyone, do not use this company!

Desired outcome: I want my money refunded asap.

Yelp.com Yelp app for closing my google account

I am filling a compliment against Yelp for closing my Google account when I didn't close my Google account I tried numbers times to get in my Google Yelp account and Yelp keep s saying that my Google Yelp account is closed for no reason at all I and I also found out that Yelp did this to many other people to I am demanding that Yelp fix this problem immediately right now and stop doing this to people sincerely yours Katherine bobrowski my email is [protected]@gmail.com please call me at [protected] immediately thank you

Yelp.com Cancellation policy

Due to COVID with a family member, we had to delay our vacation in June> We were told that that we would get the money as credits.
Today I was informed that in October, United Vacations charged $1200 of penalties for the two adults and two children under 5 years. They blamed United Airlines for $200 per person change fees. When I contacted United Airlines, they were shocked since the fare was fully refundable. Need help to get this resolved. Plus the $100 cancellation fees per person.

Desired outcome: Cancel the $1200 penalties. We still need to take the vacation

Yelp.com Yelp customer service was not responsive to my request for how to change a restaurant rating after 30 days and hung up on me.

After 30 days Yelp does not permit a restaurant rater to easily revise their rating if the quality of the restaurant goes down. I called Yelp customer service to ask how to do this since the restaurant I had given a 4 star rating had now dropped to 1 star and lost its liquor license. The Yelp customer service agent was insulant and hung up on me because he said they don't have time to discuss restaurant quality. I thought that was their service! I now believe that Yelp is a fraud and will no longer use it in selecting restaurants and other establishments. What a time ripoff! Yelp you are a real phony.

Desired outcome: Apology from someone in authority at Yelp for the poor attitude of their customer service agent.

Yelp.com Travel

We booked a trip to Florida from NJ using United Vacations who we were connected to through United Airlines. We paid $1480 for a trip for 3 to travel. We had to cancel said trip due to covid travel restrictions. When I spoke to the "rep" from United Vacations, she said that we have a travel credit and that we needed to use it before 12/21. I called the company to rebook our trip for October and was told that there is no travel credit and they claim that they refunded our $1480 to our United credit card. They did not. You can never speak to the same rep twice, they are rude and the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I spent hours waiting on hold to speak to someone several times and each time, got nowhere. Very disheartening to be out of $1480. This "company" is a scam.

Yelp.com Yelp removed an honest and authentic review

On September 9, 2021, a client who I has worked with, posted a lovely, honest and authentic review on our business page. Yelp removed it, but it absolutely did NOT violate any review guidelines! They explained that the automatic system removed it to the "not recommended reviews" section, which is totally ridiculous. If Yelp can decided on removing honest, authentic and real reviews, than I can decide to spend one more penny on advertising with them

Yelp.com Eagle shield

Why are you allow eagle shield to rank high on yelp.com when they have somany complaints? This company represents effective insulation when they use a aluminum like sheet which does not insulate at all — no r value. They're putting it in attic and dark places where it does not reflect radiant sunlight. Yet the owner states it will. He either doesn't know what he's talking about or is taking advantage of people who don't understand the difference between radiant barrier, and conductive barrier, etc. In short, this company installs an insulation product which does not perform as promised in the environment in which it is installed, and you should not allow him to remain visible on your platform, otherwise, he will continue to rip people like me, off.

Yelp.com Their website filtering for desktop

Hello,

Yelp needs to fix their filtering for 'open now' on your desktop website. When I select 'open now' late at night, for example 12:00am, I want to know what is open now. I do not want to scroll through nine pages of mostly closed restaurants that will be open at 9:00am, nine hours from now..., just to find the actual two or three that are open.

Desired outcome: The 'Open Now' feature to display ONLY restaurants that are open right now, or within 60 minutes or so. Not 9 hours away...

Yelp.com Unhealthy food where I am reporting to the board of health to investigate.

This is a complaint against Yelp not the restaurant for illegal life threatening suppression of a review of a restaurant. Yelp needs to change its ways.

I ate at PJ Harbour Club and wrote a complaint about the bad service, bad food, fabulous views, and most important Board of Health concerns. i.e. that I would be lodging a complaint with the Suffolk County Board of Health. I see that Yelp wrongly suppressed that review entirely saying that it violated its terms of service. I noticed other bad reviews were reported in a special section giving a false impression if you do not read the special section that this restaurant is safe - health wise. This could cost lives! Shame on Yelp and I mean precisely that - shame on Yelp!

I have lived in NYS for many years but sure had overseas assignments too and almost died from food poison decades ago in an upscale NYS restaurant. Several of us ended up in the hospital. The owner thanked us for complaining and the health hazard was removed. Many others became ill and we all ended up in hospital. In my review of P.J. Harbour Club for Yelp, I reported unsafe practices and Yelp did not even publish the review in its suppressed from the main section Sub Section! Yelp cited violation of terms of service. This certainly smacks of favoritism to the restaurant owner. However if you think about it I am doing him a favor by demanding Board of Health Inspection which could possibly save many lives.

Yelp needs to change its policy about Suppressing complaints about a restaurant that contain the phase that "I am requesting the Board of Health to inspect." This could cost lives!

P.S. I have never posted a BAD review on a restaurant reviewer like Yelp before ever!

PPS I will also be reporting Yelp suppression attempts on dangerous health hazards to NYS. Shame! All we did was report we will be asking Health to check out safety standards this restaurant.

Desired outcome: Yelp should post my critique. People have to know there are safety concerns.

Yelp.com Advertising

They took money from my account without authorization and refuse to show accountability in returning the funds. I have an email from their representative apologizing for their mistake and still 3 days later refuse to refund the said amount... This company is completely fraudulent and will be sued. There is over $1140 stolen from my account and there has been no reprise in returning that money to me...

Yelp.com Yelp customer service

I had the weirdest experience with your customer service department. I had left a complaint on the phone and Yelp returned a call to me during business hours the phone number was [protected] at 6:43 pm tonight. The person at first seemed concerned and wanted to help by offering me a FREE trial but they said I had to go to this Captcha website to be eligible. I filled out the street lights, and it had plants and then I had to fill out the pride flags which I thought might be odd but OK. Then the next screen was gay porn. I hung up the phone. Then a "Supervisor" from your company called me back at my business and then he claimed I was homophobic because I didn't like the gay pornography that popped up on the site he had me log in to. I find this very disturbing and unprofessional.

Desired outcome: I just wanted my problem handled which it was not. The gentleman who did this I believe should be disciplined.

Yelp.com You got the wrong business information. Please remove

I have called to complain about wrong business information. Yelp wants me to buy advertisement. It takes many calls and complaints to make corrections. After a few weeks I have to deal with the same problem. Wrong business information. Someone is stealing my name, customers and good reputation of a 60 year old business. Please make corrections . This is hurting my business at a very difficult time. Thank you for your understanding.

Yelp.com Review that yelp has allowed

A restaurant guest left me a review on yelp. They accused me of physically accosting their girlfriend. Everything is on video, and can be proven false. This person simply conjured this up to tarnish my reputation, and potentially get me fired. I contacted yelp, told them this was the very definition of libel, which is illegal. I asked them to remove it, and to reprimand the person who left the message. They told me they stood behind the review, and wouldn't remove it. This is not my opinion against theirs. This is a false statement, which can be proven on our recorded video. Yelp is breaking the law also, by allowing the review of libel to remain on their website.

You removed a review for Paul R. Freedman, DMD, dentist in Boston, MA. The review was not favorable -- It was from a...a..., Boston, MA, and stated that people must look carefully at Dr. Freedman's benefits statements for actual work that he performed. This review was removed betwen June 17 and 27, 2021, after I sent a letter to AARP in CA complaining about not receiving statements.

Yelp.com Harassment

They have called me repeatedly for months! I stated with them at the beginning that I was "not interested and please remove my business from your list". They keep calling and today they called and the guy said, "well if you don't want to speak with us to update your information, then we will just block your business from searches".
YELP needs to be charged with Harassment for all of us that they CONTINUOUSLY call and now have started with the threats of blocking our business!

Desired outcome: Our company name removed and to never hear from them again - possibly harassment charges

Exact same problem here. They insist it is their right to post my business info as I am a "public" business. I continue to get harassing calls on why I won't advertise with them. I just hung up on the latest, he was literally yelling at me. They haven't threatened to block my business yet, but as I have a niche market for my consulting that would not be referring to Yelp for services I provide, it would actually be a blessing. Sorry you've had to deal with this as well.

Yelp.com Parking reservation-no email/pass provided

On Thursday, May 28 2021, I used the Yelp App to access the web site for Pre- Flight parking in Phoenix Az. I successfully reserved for three days parking at their facility on 44th St/E Van Buren for $38.74. However, I never received an email confirmation and therefore, I was unable to print the receipt and bar code to gain access to parking. Subsequently I had to make another reservation directly through Pre-Flight's website . I am asking for a refund of $38.74.

Yelp.com Booked trip

United vacations has been the worst experience ever trying to rebook a cancelled trip due to covid. We are supposed to leave in 1 week and our travel credits haven't been transferred. We had involuntary flight changes resulting in losing a whole day of travel without a discount. I have spoken to customer service on several occasions In the last few weeks including today. No one is able to help after spending 3 hours on hold each time. I asked for a supervisor and was told all supervisors are in a meeting. Imagine that. I guess canceling the trip and losing money will be the only option. Do not use them! They are a joke.

Desired outcome: A call from someone who can actually get our booking corrected and a discount for loss of travel time.

Yelp.com Reviews about Joyce at Dr. Fleming office

I have reported these as you have asked me today. I want them taken down with my name joyce on it now. It is now becoming a issues when these people are going to my twin sister and yelling at her and calling her names. I am feeling bullied and discrimanted against I am also being harassed outside of my work! Well having my name on there violet my privacy & my familyies priavacy. My twin sister is now having to deal with these people and she doesn't even work for my office! I want these reviews taken down. If I have to abid by hippaa so should these people and not post my name.

Hq: [protected]:you took down or post to our patient regarding changes to the covid protocol's in our office why would you do that I posted that for our patient knowledge and my doctor knew about this post and encouraged to post out updated protocol's here. So I am unsure why you would take that down and not the discrimating & bulling post about me. I think you'll are a* backwards on this sh*. Really took down a note to our patients and parents. That violets yelp rule but not keeping my name off the discrimatory post about me. Really really this just happened to a post about our business. Wow I think you all need to re ready that post it was useful information about our office and office hours plus covid related protocols. Wow you need to really take a look at your company for letting people spill hate and lies!

Yelp.com Yelp doesn't care about data integrity, is a scam

Yelp called me at 7:00 am the day after creating a business page to "help" my finish my profile. Next thing I know, they charge me $100. The next week $180. Then $240 the next. I called for a refund and they insist I signed up for their ads. I did NOT commit to these, and do NOT need them. Disputing with me credit union since they will do nothing for me.

They also don't care about the actual opinion of consumers. I have witnessed too many times where negative reviews on businesses disappear. I do not believe this is because the consumers opinion changed, but because yelp is filtering data and is probably favoring businesses who pay them. YELP SUCKS!

Desired outcome: I demand a full refund

They did the same with me. Thank G-d, Chase sent me a message asking if I authorized a $413.99 charge, which I obviously didn't. I automatically had my card cancelled. Even if they try to charge my card again, they're out of luck. The card doesn't work anymore.
