My problem with the company www.Betterhelp.com is similar to other people problems, who used the free trials. I also subscribed for the free trial and after 28 days I have cancelled it. As it was mentioned on the website. However, the company took the whole sum from me. The sum was $170 and I was very surprised about it. When I contacted them and told that I have cancelled the trial, the rep confirmed this information, but he hasn’t helped me with refund or anything else.

Because they are a sham to me. I posted a very detailed complaint here exposing what I believe is their misleading to the public.

I cant believe that you can not talk to an actual person about billing issues. You can talk to a counselor on the phone or facetime but not customer service. Email is just not ok and not professional. I don't want to give personal info to some email and I feel I am not getting anything resolved.

Scammers. No help
I clicked on a link saying 7 day free trial and they charged me $180/month for 2 months on my card without sending me a bill. The therapist was zero help during the trial. They basically just scam you without your knowledge

Turned me away after I had already paid. Waiting on a refund, but what kind of place that's meant to help those who are struggling refuses people? If you have a lot of different problems, or problems that are severe, don't even bother. They will make you feel like you are beyond help. A very poor experience to have when you're already feeling low.

This company took $260 out of my account without my consent. I even canceled it and still go charged. I don't have any money left in my account and it says that it will take at least one business day to reply and i don't have that kind of time. From read i've read they wont even respond.

I cancelled my subscription and was charge $260! The counselor was not available and when is finally was able to talk 2 days later she only talked for about 30 minutes. She said that she would send the cancelation however I was still charged the full $260 for 30 minutes of talk!

This is a rip off and I expect a credit immediately

I was also charged more than 4 times more than the advertised price ($180 instead of $45) and was not provided with what was advertised (i.e. voice calls). I have now requested a refund and have reported this as fraud.

Credit card called said they tried to debit 350 twice. I've never talked to no one there. I signed up n canceled trial without talked to no one. I am not paying it. I have never spoken to them this is rediculas I can't get medication I need because of this fraud

Disgusted with this service. I also signed up for the free trial which I believed would be free as advertised! Ended up taking nearly 300 from my account. Requested a refund and took ages to get back to me, leaving my bank account in overdraft and apparently would take 1 business day to go back in, it's been 4 days and the money has still not been fully processed, I haven't even been able to get myself food. Absolute joke! Dont use this service especially if you are suffering with stress makes you feel 20 times worse I feel like I need counselling for just using this site.

This is a total scam. You don't get therapy. The counselor makes small talk with you. I was charged 180.00 for charges I did not authorize. This occurred on November 26, 2018. I have already disputed the charge with the credit card company.

They never paid me as a therapist and I had to get an attorney involved and they owe me $11,000. They did this to other therapists as well.

I have cancelled my Subscription over 6 weeks ago after I found out they charge you weekly even if not using a Therapist and I’m still getting charged… They must be stopped!

They never provided any services, and subscribed me for weekly payment in a misleading, deceitful manner, without my consent. This is so wrong, and it looks like I am not alone.
