I Have been trying to cancel my Woolworths credit card since 22 July 2026. I have provided a bank confirmation letter to refund the positive balance in the account (about R450), but WFS is demanding a bank statement , which i do not want to provide as transactional details are none of their concern. I can also not spend the money as the card has expired. i object to paying for the service i cannot use and do not accept that a bank confirmation letter cannot be used to process th refund

Desired outcome: cancel the card and refund the positive balance and any fees since 22nd July 2026
