WIX billed my CREDIT ONE BANK (COB) credit card for $576 in March 2025.
The charge was for a company I had worked for and have parted ways since June 2023.
When I set the account up for my then employer, I selected “non-renew.”
03/15/2025, I disputed the charge with CREDIT ONE BANK, Claim #250315000473C. I emailed COB a copy of my termination agreement with that employer dated June 2023. COB reversed the $576 charges and said it would be investigated.
On April 2, 2025, I received a response from COB on the investigation I initiated on March 15, 2025. WIX had replied to COB that I approved the upcoming March 2025 billing through email. WIX provided a 12-page response in BOLD type, listed as CHARGBACK EVIDENCE. This contained all my personal information, obtainable on the internet in many places, and included a map of my house for nothing more than intimidating purposes. Within that fodder, the email they claimed I responded to, is listed. It is not my email, and I have no access to that email.
April 2, 2025, I had the Claim #250315000473C re-opened and again attached the termination agreement from June 2023 explicitly stating I no longer worked for that company as of that date.
On April 10, 2025, I received an email from COB on the investigation I initiated on March 15, 2025. Not an April 2, 2025 claim, no new investigation was initiated COB did not even change the date, just claimed I was wrong and WIX can keep my fraudulently gained payment of $576 as CREDIT ONE BANK will help them keep.
The email address WIX claims is my email [protected]@gmail.com is a company general account email, with the company I no longer work for and have no access to this company email account; therefore, I had no opportunity to approve this charge. WIX claims all correspondence was sent to this email account, which I answered and agreed to be billed.
I did not.
I have disputed the charge twice with CREDIT ONE BANK, but each time I point out the errors on WIX challenges, it is ignored.
WIX has no process to discuss this problem. Small Claims Court is my next option. I will be suing WIX and CREDIT ONE BANK for lawyer fees and punitive damages! Adding at least six hours of my life to turn this colossal bulls*t around. My fee begins at $100 an hour.
I LOVE MY AMERICAN COURTS!
Claimed loss: $576 USD for fraudulent billing from WIX
Desired outcome: I want my $576 returned. I gave no authorization for WIX to bill me.
