For several years, I have frequented the Sumner, WA Winco. For several years I have noticed a repeated pattern of torn, spoiled or moldy food. Many times I have had to throw products away. For example:

Gluten free blueberry bread: moldy upon opening

Oat milk creamer: spoiled

Chicken and beer broth: leaking

Dry pasta: contains small insects (weevils)

Dry beans: bags have small holes in them

Cereal boxes: sliced open

Frozen blueberries: small slit in bottom of bag

Yoghurt: seal broken

Sunflower butter: seal broken

These are just a "few" that I can recall recently. It's very apparent that the low cost of your items is not worth the amount that I lose when I throw items away. Which is unfortunate, as I will now have to travel further and pay more for grocery items.

Desired outcome: At this point the monetary amount that I have lost from your spoiled food products is not calculable. Therefore, I would ask that you take this complaint seriously and investigate the persistent issue.

Maybe look closer at items before putting it in your cart. Cut boxes happen in every store.
It's unfortunate about your moldy bread, especially since it's a specialized type of bread. If it molds like that they should discontinue it or only sell it frozen.

I shop the Sumner store since it opened in 2010. It's really a beautiful well stocked large Winco. Probably the best Winco in the Puget Sound area to shop in. The employees are wonderful and they did a wonderful job accommodating and keeping the store stocked during the unfortunate shutdowns during the pandemic. People can be very rude to grocery workers. They were also front line during the pandemic but were the last considered when the State of Washington was keeping its workers home and telling everyone it was ok to go to the grocery store...You know, because they care about regular working people lol.
