WigsBuy Review: A Total Disaster - Terrible Quality, Long Delivery Time, and Impossible Return Policy
I gotta tell ya, WigsBuy is a total disaster. I mean, I waited for like, FOREVER for my order to arrive. And just when I thought it hadn't gone through, I ordered again. And then, BAM! Both orders show up at the same time. And let me tell you, the wig I got was NOT what I was expecting. I mean, I ordered a subtle blonde, but what I got was like, chunks of screaming bottle blonde. Not cute, people. Not cute.
So, I try to return the dang thing, right? But the info in the package says I gotta call customer service. So, I try to call, but every time I do, the line is BUSY. Like, what kind of business has a busy signal these days? It's like they don't even WANT you to return stuff. After like, the third call, I finally send them an email asking for the return info. But guess what? WEEKS go by and I still haven't heard back. I call and email like, a million more times, but nothing. Nada. Zilch.
And get this - when I look at my credit card statement, there's no charge from WigsBuy. Instead, it's from some place called "WWW.YOURCHICS.COM HONGKONG." Like, what the heck? Why are they hiding under a different name?
So, let me break it down for you:
1. The quality of the product is WAY below what they advertise.
2. The color is totally different from what you see in the picture.
3. The delivery time is RIDICULOUSLY long.
4. You don't even get a confirmation email with your order number or tracking info or anything.
5. And the return policy is basically designed to make it impossible to return anything.
6. Oh, and the customer service? It's a JOKE.
So, yeah. What you see is definitely NOT what you get with WigsBuy. Stay far, far away from this hot mess.
Terrible Experience with WigsBuy: Fraudulent Purchase and No Response to Cancellation Attempts
So, I had a really bad experience with WigsBuy. I got a text from Paypal saying that I had made a purchase for $79.93, but I didn't make that purchase. I told Paypal that it was fraud, but they said that because I had bought a wig from another company before, it was in my purchase history and they wouldn't start a fraud case. So, they went ahead and paid WigsBuy. I was so mad! I spent the whole day arguing with Paypal about it and then I tried to cancel the order with WigsBuy. Their website says you can cancel within 24 hours, but they wouldn't respond to any of my messages. I sent them 4 emails and 4 messages on their site, but they didn't answer me at all. I'm really upset about this and I don't know what to do. I even tried to talk to them on the phone, but the number didn't work. I feel like I'm being scammed and Paypal is not helping me at all. I wish I never bought anything from WigsBuy.
Wigsbuy.com Review: Fraudulent Company with Terrible Customer Service and Products
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with wigsbuy.com. I ordered a human hair wig from them way back on December 9th, 2021, and I didn't get it until February 5th, 2022. And let me tell you, it was NOT what I ordered. The style was all wrong, the length was off, the color was different, and there were even bald spots! Plus, the netting was hanging down like two inches below the hair. It was a hot mess.
So, I contacted the company to get a refund, but they were no help at all. They said that the wig looked like what I ordered and that it was a nice wig. They even offered me a measly $25 discount if I wanted to keep it. I paid $185.12 for this thing, and they were only willing to refund me $95.00 because of "raw material and labor costs." I mean, come on! I told them that I wanted a FULL REFUND because they didn't make the right wig, and I shouldn't have to pay for their INCOMPETENCE. But now they won't even reply to my emails.
I'm so angry about this whole situation that I'm going to contact the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. It's a serious crime to commit fraud over the internet, and this company needs to be shut down immediately. I can't afford to lose $185.00 or even $95.00. I ordered this wig because all of my hair fell out due to Covid, and I needed something to make me feel better. If I had known that this was a Chinese company, I never would have ordered from them. But on the website, it said that they had an address in London, England. What a bunch of fraudsters!
Oh, and another thing that really ticked me off was that I couldn't use a credit card to pay for the wig. It had to be a debit card transaction. What kind of nonsense is that? I recently ordered a wig from WigsBuy on April 1, 2020. However, I didn't receive it until April 25, 2020. The wig I received looks nothing like the one I ordered. It's a complete disaster! The hair is stringy and sparse, and it barely has any hair at all. I was so disappointed that I didn't even bother trying it on. I knew right away that I would never wear this raggedy and ugly wig.
I spent an hour trying to find a phone number to contact them, but they are located in China! If I had known that, I would have never ordered from them. I tried to contact them by phone and email, but it was impossible to get a response. I'm not surprised! I don't think I'll ever get a refund from them. I just lost $125.00!
Considering that the wig came from China during this horrible Covid-19 pandemic, I can't imagine the germs it's carrying. I sprayed the packaging and the box with Lysol and put it in my garage. I then took a shower and put my clothes in a hot and soapy washing machine. I'm so upset about this!
I'm not young, and I have a compromised immune system. I've been in isolation for 8 weeks, and now I could have possibly been exposed to the virus. It's really scary!

WigsBuy: Poor Quality, Terrible Customer Service, and Fake Reviews
This company, WigsBuy, is a real piece of work. I ordered some items from them and was sorely disappointed with the quality. The photos on their website looked nothing like what I received. I tried to dispute the order, but their link conveniently didn't work. And when I tried to contact them through email, I got no response. It wasn't until I posted a bad review on a website that they finally responded. But even then, they only offered me a partial refund and refused to give me a full refund despite the obvious differences between the product and the website photos.
To make matters worse, they troll review sites and post fake reviews with poor English and stupid titles. When I called them out on it, they actually posted that they would "punish" the employee who processed my order. How unprofessional is that? And when I finally got a full refund through PayPal, they only gave me back $87 out of the $107 I paid for the extensions. They claimed it was to cover shipping, but shipping was supposed to be free as part of the buying deal. And I had to pay to have it shipped back to China.
Now they're offering me $10 to remove my bad reviews. But there's no way I'm going to do that. They are nasty, pirating thieves and I wouldn't recommend doing business with them to anyone. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

Wigsbuy is an online store that claims to have the best wigs, but there's nowhere to read reviews! I got scammed by this business and it was a total nightmare! Their wigs were more expensive than the ones I've tried before. I thought that if they cost more, they must be better. But that was not the case! The wig took forever to arrive. It was coming from China, so it was no surprise that it took so long. When I finally got it, it looked nothing like the picture! It had no part whatsoever! It was impossible to put on, it just hung in your face! Customer service was terrible too! I bought it through PayPal, so PayPal was involved in trying to solve the dispute. But I had to contact the merchant first. They never replied to any of my emails! They used a different name on my PayPal receipt and I never got a receipt from Wigsbuy at all! I ended up having to send this wig back to China, and the address was crazy! It took forever and they never let me know if they received it or not! I only got a partial refund. This place needs to be shut down! If I could have left 0 stars, I would have! Please put this place out of business! It is 100% a scam! The wig looked like something you would get from a gag shop for Halloween! I made the mistake of buying before reading the reviews, and now there are no reviews to read at all! I had to Google this business to leave this review, which most people won't do, allowing them to sell more of these crappy wigs!

Warning: Terrible Experience with WigsBuy - A Chinese Scam Disguised as an American Website
I'm writing this review to warn people about the terrible experience I had with WigsBuy. I was in need of a wig due to my cancer treatment, so I decided to order from this website. Little did I know, it would be a complete waste of my time and money.
First of all, I spent $210 on my order, which took a whopping 3 months to arrive. I had to email the company multiple times and even spent hundreds of dollars calling their customer service in Xiang, China. I was under the impression that this was an American website, but the customer service representatives could hardly speak English.
When my order finally arrived, it was the wrong product. Not only that, but the quality was absolutely terrible. It looked like something you would find at a junk store. I was supposed to receive a wig made of real human hair, but instead, I received what appeared to be a cheap party wig that a clown would wear.
I tried to complain numerous times via email and phone, but my messages were ignored. I am currently waiting for PayPal to refund my money, but the stress, time, and worry I had to go through were not worth it.
I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this fake website. It's a Chinese scam that tries to deceive you into thinking it's an American website. The photos they use are stolen from other online sellers, and the positive reviews you see on their website are most likely written by their own staff. They advertise 100% satisfaction guarantee, send you a poor quality wig, refuse to honor the return policy without fighting with them, and then send you return instructions which violate Federal customs laws. They ask you to return the items as "gifts or samples" and to underreport the value of the item - and this is in writing! So you are required to break the law in order to return items to them. I've reported them for customs violations but they should not be allowed to do business in the US.

Wigs of poor quality
I bought 2 wigs in June 2021 from them on-line. When they arrived, they were not what was pictured on social media. They were hair sewn on a cap without any lace, etc.
When I asked for a refund, only then did I discover I was dealing with an Asian company in an Asian country somewhere. They made all kinds of promises to return a portion of my money ( which I accepted cause I knew the return to them would be even more stupid!
As of 3/ 11/ 22 and numerous email correspondence to string me along, I still haven't received a partial refund.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund. I want to warn any other potential customers who did their due diligence about the company (unlike myself) to not make a purchase. You will not get what you see they are advertising.

My credit card was fraudulently used to purchase, I don't know what, and when I contacted WIGSBUY's "Client Services" for information all I got was the proverbial "run-a-round." They are useless. I would have given them a minus star if it was available. Do not deal with this company if you value your credit information because it is not safe.

I purchased a few wigs from Wigsbuy. It took 6 weeks to receive and the wigs look HORRIBLE. The color is no where near the photos, two of the wigs were supposed to be the same color (H4/27), and those two were different shades of an icky light brown color. The cap construction was defective as it was pointy at the crown and the style of each wig in no way, shape or form resembled what I ordered. I emailed the copy and have never received a response. I have purchased $20 Amazon wigs that were 1000x better in color, style and quality than the wigs from Wigsbuy. This company is a scam, a sham and needs to be shut down - false advertising is an understatment.

On January 31, 2021 I purchased 2 wigs, upon receiving the wigs I was totally dissatisfied, very poor quality, looked like dog hair, immediately tried contacting the company, tried calling customer service for days. they never answer their phone. Finally got through to them and they indicated they were having a Valentine's Day sale and someone would get back to me the following week, my concern was there was a time limit on when they could be returned. The total amount for the 2 wigs was $262 dollars, after this purchase was made my credit card was compromised and had to be cancelled which complicated matters more. When they finally got back to me they said they could not give me a full refund even if returned in perfect condition. they offered to give me $40 off my total, I refused, then they offered me $120 off, I refused, then $180 off, again I refused. Finally we agreed to a full refund through PayPal once the wigs were returned to them, they were returned in perfect condition, never worn, still waiting almost a year later, the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.I contacted numerous agencies in hopes that someone could help, no one will, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this unethical company. At this point they got the wigs returned to them and my money, they got it all and continue to get away with it, this company needs to be shut down!
