I requested a transfer from Webster to Zion bank via online Oct 13, 2025. I had to verify the Zion account with a 2 micro deposits. I have to email Webster twice and finally call to find out how to verify Zion on their website. I received an email on 10/15/25 telling me that the Webster account was enabled to transfer to Zion Bank. On10/15/25 I recieved a 2nd email that I needed to provide my bank statement from Zion to verify ownership. I overlooked this email until 10/22/2025. I tried to log into Webster but I was locked out of my account. I call Webster bank on 10/23/25 at 11:23 am MT. I was on the phone for 31 minutes. I sent the Zion statement via secure email and I was told by the representative that it had been received. I was assured that the $20,000 would be transferred on 10/23/25 from Webster to Zion before the end of the day, I had to go into the hospital for a procedure and checked my account when I got home. The money has not been transferred and I am still locked out of my account, I need the money to pay my taxes. If I had sent the checks to the state of Utah yesterday, as planned, they would have bounced. I called this morning and spoke to a Webster representative by the name of Cindy. I was told that she cannot help me and that I need to call back at 10:00 am EST. I don't believe that this is normal practice for banks and I think that they need to be held accountable.
Claimed loss: I am not sure yet.
Desired outcome: I want our money back from Webster and I do not want to pay anything to have the money wired into our Zion account. I need this done as soon as possible.
