I ordered a Sizzli and cold brew for a mobile order in Kendall Park NJ. I added my accumulated rewards: the cold brew was free and the Sizzli was reduced by a dollar. I used Apple Pay to pay in-app. So far so good.
I get a notification to head to the store to pick up my order at the scheduled time but when I get to the store, they have no record of the order. Apparently the order was cancelled [due to the Sizzli not being available, despite allowing me to order and pay for it.
So now I have to create an in-store order, as instructed by a manager, and she told me that i have to scan the reward card for the discount at the counter, but since I used Apple Pay for the in-store order option I was not able to add the reward card and the cashier wasn't able to apply the reward since I already paid.
Recommendation: Don't waste your time with the app. Just go in the store and order what you want and pay for it there
