Waste Management [WM] almost killed by your driver then video taped and harassed

On Friday, Sept. 27 th . 2:00 p.m.I was heading to me bank, chase bank in Bloomingdale. I big WM truck who did NOT have the right of way came barreling towards me almost hit me, t- boned to be exact. So I turn into my bank and the same truck is hot on my tail he has turned off of Shick. He proceeded to literally stay an inch away from my in pouring rain I had to stop because the lot was flooded but if I did he would have no doubt hit me. So I pull of hop out of my car and grab my phone to take a pic of his license plate to file a complaint. Your driver, a skinny white guy with grey hair jumps out of the truck and starts filiming me and grabbing his crotch suggesting I can suck it and flipping me off. He also did a maneuver with the truck like he was gonna spin it around and run me over, all while video taping me, laughing and flipping me off. I literally told home: you're on the job, do you think this is appropriate? You almost ran me over 2 times. This is life or death not a joke. He continues sticking his tongue out at me giving me a thumbs up telling me I can tell his boss no one gives a [censored] he can do what he wants. I got in my car and left because he obviously is not ok in the head. I got video and pix of the truck. Absolutely disturbing and disgusting behavior the whole chase bank drive thru witnessed your employee who is probably pushing 50 almost kill me twice then prance around and act like a toddler, not one single prompt reminding him that he is on the job made a single difference. If I didn't have somewhere to be so urgently I would have called 911. This guy needs to be off the road before he kills someone. Mark my words.. I am still in shock at what I dealt with and witnessed shame on you for hiring nut jobs who carry your name and don't care at all. My name is Lauren Prosser. I would like to mention this whole incident was also caught on tape at my local chase bank and several ppl witnessed. It’s life or death when we are out on the road. I don’t appreciate my life being risked by an overgrown bully. Thank you again have a wonderful day, Lauren Prosser

Waste Management [WM] aggressive driver

To whom it may concern

My name is James Wilson and I am requesting a driver review on the truck numbered 414809. While driving down Rutherford road Greenville SC around 4:10 pm the driver of the truck in question started driving aggressively behind my vehicle. The driver of the truck drove up beside my car and rolled down his window with threatening hand gestures. The driver views me and my 15 year old son who was in the passenger seat writing down the truck ID number. After letting him pass, the driver pulled over into the median, jumped out his truck acting sporadic and aggressive.

Waste Management [WM] admin fee

Waste management started charging admin fee. You don't have to pay for this fee if you enroll in paperless invoice and autopay. So I enrolled in both. However, I continue to get charged for the fee. I contacted waste management, they say that on the system, it is not showing that I have enrolled in paperless. I have unenrolled and enrolled back. Another invoice came, I got charged the admin fee again. The system is still showing that I am not enrolled in paperless. Why should customer pay for their system error? This is unacceptable and poor reputation of the company.

I called to cancel Waste Management services in July when a new company offered a very slight cost savings. The main reason I changed was the receipt of a long list of fees for cancellation, temporary halts, bin replacement and so forth; none of which were ever mentioned when Waste Management bought Deffenbaugh Services. Waste Management [WM] careless operator

The operator of IL Plate 40 597, on Skokie Blvd in Northbrook IL before 6am displayed absolutely careless operating of his truck by flying out of the parking lot of a shopping center on the east side of Skokie Blvd, crossing all 4 lanes of traffic, and coming within inches of taking out several cars.

This operator is an extreme liability and was almost single handedly responsible for a multi million dollar claim as both my car and the car traveling in the left lane were both compact. He would have easily killed us both.

This operator should not be allowed in a truck!

I would like a response to this complaint as I am a WM customer and am considering every option to take my business elsewhere.

Waste Management [WM] garbage not being picked up

Trash is not picked up. Its 4:11 pm EST. Just got off of phone with company -- was on phone for 19 minutes. Truck told company that they had picked up trad on this street. My neighbors' trad is still outside as well. If they send an email, it won't come until after 6 pm--while the trash has been out in the hot sun all day. I took pictures if they're interested.

I have been fighting this battle for years, at least once a month they will skip picking up one of the three and when you call them they say we will pick it up and either do not or they say we will be out the next day and dont do it. I put my stuff out on Monday or Tuesday for pickup on Wednesday at my drive way and have called them numerous times telling...

Waste Management [WM] trash removal

Waste Management changed policies without telling anyone in my area(I discussed with my neighbors who didn't receive service as well) and left a bunch of bags on the street. The entire neighborhood was affected. We will ALL be canceling our service with Waste Management. Horrible company. Doesn't inform their customers of changes in policy til there is trash all over the neighborhood.

Waste Management [WM] trash pickup and cancellation

I called to cancel my services since I was moving 08.17.19 on 08.10.19. I was informed that my last pickup would be the 08.16.19. My trash is still here. I called this past Tuesday and informed them and they basically said they can't do anything for me and that they'd come pick up the bin this Friday that just passed and it's still here. The manager I talked to after the customer service agent was rude and said they won't do anything for me. Yet the mistake was not on my end. At this point I will not remove the trash myself since it has been sitting out here for 2 weeks collecting bugs. I will never use this service again for the simple fact that a mistake was made and no one could rectify the situation causing me to be charged for trash that should have been collected.

Waste Management [WM] billing

I Canceled service in May of this year. Took over 2 months for them to pickup 2 trash cans from in front of my house and now they bill me for that. $109.48... I was never told I would be billed for that. What a CON job. (This company has caused me nothing but stress.) When I called to Complain I was told that "they canceled "the account. This company is horrible. So now because Both my Wife and I have Security Clearances, I will have to pay this off. I hate this company and I will tell this story every chance I get.

Waste Management [WM] service, cancellation of service

I put out a total of 4 empty boxes, other than plastic and styrofoam. The boxes were not small, but my 6 year old grandson picked up the largest box and took it to the curb. The truck pulls up, takes a picture, empties my trash bin, which was left laying in the street and leaves the boxes. I called customer service to find out the problem and was told the boxes needed overage stickers, which each box already had. Then I was told the boxes should have been broken down. Another new rule I was not aware of as I have put other boxes out with no problem, but like the rest of their rules, once I find out about them, I comply. This would not have been a problem, if they had provided a reasonable customer service solution, which should have been to allow me to breakdown the boxes and have the driver come back and pick them up. The driver was still in my subdivision and drove back by my house after my phone call with customer service. These were major purchase items that you don't want the boxes sitting outside of your home all day and this was explained.

Because I am now tired of inconsistent services over the last year, I called to cancel my service. I'm offered one month and then two months of free service as a resolution and I said no. I was offered one month of free service last year after an issue and I continue to get poor service from trash not being picked up at all, yard waste being left over a week, trash can being left in the street. I was asked why I didn't call in and report these additional instances... well I don't feel the need to constantly remind people how to provide a service. I don't continue to complain, I take my money elsewhere. I pay on time, I should get the service I pay for. Since I was cancelling their service, I was told I would have to pay them $126 to come pick up their trash container or take it to a facility that is located 34 miles away from my home oneway.in addition to this, I paid my 3 month bill on 7/28/19, for the period of service for 8/1/19 to 10/31/19. I called to cancel the service on 8/21/19. I was told there would be no refund of any portion of that payment and it could not be used as a credit towards the pickup of the container! Why would anyone want to continue doing business with a company like this! And what makes them think they can keep money for services they will not provide? This is strong arming.

Waste Management [WM] trash pickup

I cancelled service months ago and was told to put the can out for pick up. The can has been at the end of my drive for 3 months and I continue to get charged admin fees and late fees. I was originally told there would be a $56 fee to pick up the can...RIDICULOUS. and here it still sits at my driveway and every month they add charges. When you start service you are not informed of the cancellation fee and ADMIN fees!

Waste Management [WM] recycling not picked up

My recycling was scheduled to be picked up by Waste Management on 8/2 so I put it out at 6pm on 8/1. To date, it STILL has not been picked up. (Today is 8/19) I have called five or six times and emailed them. They have already been paid. I don't understand what the issue is! Several employees have said they would see to it that the problem is resolved but nothing has been done. I am cancelling my "service". I have the number saved in my phone as Waste MISMANAGEMENT. Totally unacceptable! I would rather drive to the dump than put up with this any longer.

Waste Management [WM] Rude/Hazardous Driving

This morning, 8/19/19, at about 6:30, I was stopped at a red light at Washington St in Oakland, CA, preparing to turn right onto 6th St. WM collection truck #152966 came up behind me and honked for me to turn, even though the light was still red. I have a low profile vehicle and I could not see that the closest lane was clear of oncoming traffic, so I did not turn. The truck honked again. I still couldn't see that it was safe to turn, and still did not proceed. When the light changed, the truck sped around and ahead of me onto 6th St and the passenger gestured rudely directly at me. I have been certified to operate emergency vehicles and am aware that not even emergency vehicles have the right to push a vehicle into an intersection, even when responding to an emergency situation. I would assume that waste collection trucks also do not have this authority. The conduct was rude and could have been hazardous if I had followed the driver's demands. I appreciate the service provided by WM, but felt that this crew of this truck behaved very unprofessionally in this instance.

Waste Management [WM] Waste Management (Trash) Not Picked up

My trash is supposed to be picked up on Wednesday. Last Wednesday (8/14/19), it was not picked up for some reason (although my recyclables were). When it was also not picked up the next day, I called to complain and request pick up. I was told the trash would be picked up by 5 p.m. that day--but it was not. On 8/16/19 I called again, and again was told that it would be picked up by the end of the day. It was not. On Saturday 8/17/19 I called and was told that the earliest it could be picked up would be Monday. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was transferred to a supervisor named Carol. Carol told me that she spoke with a dispatch manager, and that someone named "Marco" would pick my trash up by the end of the day. He did not. Today is Sunday 8/18/19 and it still has not been picked up. There is no problem with my account. I pay on time every month through auto pay, and customer service checked my account and assured me that there were no payment issues.

Waste Management [WM] garbage pick up service.

On Friday August 16th 2019 in Vernon township Meadville the garbage man for culver drive threw my whole entire garbage can away! The whole thing! They are not cheap and I was told as long as it was out by the road I could have it in any can. Of my choice or even on the ground. I am so angry that the can was throw away that I am calling other garbage services tomorrow. There is absolutely no reason for this.

Waste Management [WM] waste not secure in truck driving on highway

At approximately 12:45pm in the town of Thorold Ontario on highway 58, a large quantity(between 7-10 pieces) of un-broken cardboard boxes and a bag of trash blew out of the back of a WM truck with license plate Am68870. The driver was driving at highway speeds and didn't seem to acknowledge that his load was not secure. Us cars behind him began swerving out of the way but a cardboard box was inevitably lodged under and dragged by a car in front of me.
This was a dangerous and unacceptable highway situation

Waste Management [WM] service pick up

I recently had issues receiving my bill. When I called waste mangment, they had the wrong address on file. I was told waste mangment would schedule an courtesy pick up because they was at fault for having the incorrect address. My trash never got picked up. When I called again, I was told since someone already scheduled a pick it would be another week before my trash was picked up. To the date it's been 3 weeks since my trash has been picked up. I feel I should be compensated for the days I had to go without trash service. As common sense would tell u, the trash bags our piling up and animals have been in the trash causing more frustration than needed.

Waste Management [WM] garbage service and customer service

4 weeks ago I transferred service to my new address. I was told everything was fine and to use the previous owner's incorrect containers for the first week. My garbage wasn't picked up and my containers haven't been replaced for 4 weeks now. I've spent 4 hours over 7 phone calls trying to get a bin and correct service. This monopoly is abusive as they give us incorrect information week after week. My wife tried contacting them because I'm at my wits end and they wouldn't do anything for her either including credit our account in any way. This business is just broke .

I just got home as the garbage man was two blocks down the street So I pulled out my trash cans for him to empty them he picks up one of my trash cans but left two of them full of trash. I watched as he does drove off. He's done this multiple times already and I'm getting tired of it... there's no point in hiring individuals who do not do their jobs. My address is 1232 N Woodward ave 73107 Oklahoma City Oklahoma.
