Waffle House review: Associate misconduct and mistreatment

I have been a customer of Waffle House for a very long time, and I was saddened when my sister and I where at our (used to be) favorite store (1046 in Pensacola, Florida) at the time and decided we would have to find a new store to frequent due to the actions of 2 of their associates. I have been dwelling on this situation for a few months, and I feel the company should know what is going on in their units, so I decide to report this.

On or about August 12, 2023, my sister and I witnessed 2 associates having a very aggressive argument outside of the store with a man and his dog. One of the associates was grabbing her private parts and screaming at the man to “suck her d — k” and calling this man a “piece of s — t””. The manager made the 2 associates go back inside while stating that her actions were a firing offense, and if she needed to come back into the store.

My sister and I were there last week to see some of our favorite associates (Kim and Nikki) and the associates who were involved in this incident, were still employed and one of them we actually witnessed bullying a server from another shift who was helping out at the time.

After talking to Kim and Nikki about the new situation, they mentioned that this associate has actually been a problem for Kim and Nikki as well.

It’s sad when you love going to a certain store to see your favorites and then having to witness such torment.

After the last incident and see the fill in associate almost in tears, my sister and I felt it was time to say something to someone.
