I booked this property some months ago and have paid for the acdomodation and I have just received an e mail from the host saying that he has let it on another platform. I have a confirmed booking from you and he cannot do that
I need this sorting out asap please
In addition it appears that the price now advertised is vastly cheaper than the price I paid
Claimed loss: £2000
Desired outcome: I want my booking. I am 75 and my sister is 80 and we are celbrating our birthdays together We are travelling up from Melbourne where she lives to have the celebration with my son who lives in SydneyThis is just not good enough
Getting double booked is the worst form of ‘dining out’. The host does not have the authority to throw away your paid reservation just because they found a different booking somewhere else. That is a breach of contract. VRBO should intervene right now and either compel the host to respect your booking or relocate you without any fees, preferably first refunding the difference. Don’t let them waste time because they need to resolve this quickly.
