TravelChannel Mixed Feelings About TravelChannel's Alien Crash Episode

TravelChannel (travelchannel.com) is a fascinating website that has everything for travel enthusiasts. The site features amazing travel destinations and experiences that will make every traveler eager to pack their bags and take off on a journey of a lifetime. The site has amazing travel videos, blogs, and articles that can't help but excite you.

I recently watched an episode that had some questionable moments, to say the least. The host was exploring an area where an alien crash had occurred in 1965. The video showed trees still standing with the bark on them that should have long since been destroyed. It raised some doubts in my mind about the accuracy of their facts. They also showed a team scanning the area with a sonar machine, but all they found was an old soda can.

The show went on to show black-hatted men walking into a house with black coats, using a phone, and then leaving with a piece of metal that looked like an acorn covered with a cloth. I mean, really? How did they lift such a heavy acorn with an ordinary-looking truck in the middle of the woods?

It's not hard to see how these things raised doubts in my mind if the show was legitimate or B/S. I mean, come on; are they trying to play us for fools? They also showed a witness who claimed he saw the object leaving the area, but he hardly seemed credible.

Despite my skepticism of this particular episode, TravelChannel is still a great resource for travel enthusiasts. I would encourage everyone to take a look at the website if you're planning your next vacation or just want a taste of what's out there. They have many authentic and exciting travel suggestions that will help you plan your next road trip or exotic adventure. So keep an open mind and explore this website to experience new travel possibilities.

TravelChannel Skip TravelChannel: Disappointing Lack of Travel Content, Paranormal Programs Lame

TravelChannel is a channel that you might want to skip if you are looking for something to watch about travel because there is NOTHIN' much to see. Ain't that sad? That's been the case for years now. Unless you're a morning person and you turn the channel on around 5am-6am on weekends then you might find something to watch. But even then, it ain't much. What they have to offer nowadays are paranormal programs which are pretty much tired and lame. Yup, it's true. The audience who used to love this kind of stuff are hardly watchin' anymore. Even my family, who are a bunch of certified paranormal nuts, say that the ghostbuster shows they watch are like watching the Kardashians... HA! They call it "Ghost Kardashians". Ain't that funny?

Looks like the smaller demographic that they're catering to ain't even enjoying it much and that ain't good. Ghost Adventures might be their anchor show but it don't mean it's good. So I say to ya, don't even turn on the Travel Channel if you don't want to lose any brain cells. The Ghost-[censored] channel ain't even good for real paranormal enthusiasts. But, if you like somethin' that will make ya feel like you're in a room with Dane Cooks, frat bros, and sorority chicks who love ghosts, then you mightlike it. HAHA!

TravelChannel Travel Channel's Haunted Live: A Big Waste of Time

This show is really not worth watching! I mean, seriously, what's all the fuss about Travel Channel? It's just a big waste of time. Firstly, the show is filled with so many unnecessary fillers. They keep repeating the meaning of "EVP" over and over again, just in case someone didn't get it the first time. And seriously, what's the deal with the rewind? Oh come on, we can all remember what happened before the break, can't we? It's not like we're goldfish or something. And then, almost the entire show is just setup! It's like they're just leading us by the nose. Oh, and don't get me started on the reveal part. It's as if they think we don't understand what's going on!

To make things worse, the show is also accompanied by some really annoying scary music that just never seems to stop. I mean, we get it, Travel Channel, you want to scare us, but you don't need that overbearing music score to do it. It just feels like they're trying way too hard to be spooky. Why can't they make us feel like we're a part of the show? I mean, isn't that what good shows are supposed to do? But nope, Travel Channel is just happy to keep us all at arm's length. It's like they only care about entertaining children.

Oh, and let's not forget about the superiority attitude. They think they're all that. Well, they're not! They should appreciate that they even have a show that's being broadcasted because, honestly, it won't be for too long if they keep this up. They need to listen to their audience and start thinking about making some changes.

Overall, I'd say skip this show. It's highly overrated and not worth your time. There are plenty of other shows out there that are much more entertaining and engaging.

TravelChannel The Disappointing State of The Travel Channel: Lack of Quality Programming and Excessive Commercials

The Travel Channel has become a real disappointment for me lately. I mean, what are those upper-ups thinking? Are they not smart or something? Nowadays, all you see is paranormal shows, like it's something new or interesting. It's just boring and there are more commercials playing than actual content. And don't even get me started on those reality shows. They tend to paint an unflattering picture of Americans with their poor language skills and vulgar comments. It's no wonder people have stopped watching shows like Fraser. I mean, are the younger viewers not smart enough to understand good humor anymore? Or is it that showbiz folks lack critical thinking skills so potty humor is all they can come up with? It's just sad.

I won't be tuning in to the Travel Channel anytime soon until they start airing more quality shows and get rid of the annoying commercials. It's like they have a team of monkeys running the channel and they don't even know how to cater to viewers' needs. And they wonder why the ratings are down? Duh, too many ads! It's time for a change, folks.

TravelChannel TravelChannel.com: A Biased View on Hotels, but a Consistently Great Resource for Beaches and Travel Experiences

TravelChannel.com is a website that is dedicated to helping people discover the best travel destinations and experiences around the world. When it comes to hotels, they seem to have a tendency to promote obscure choices, even when they are not necessarily the best. I have noticed this many times when they come out with their "10 Best Resorts in the World" list, where one of the selections is always some hotel in Mexico that very few people have ever heard of. The other nine resorts are usually just average, and the number one pick never seems to live up to the hype.

But when it comes to beaches, TravelChannel.com really shines. They consistently pick the best beaches in the world, with Ipanema in Rio consistently being ranked as the number one beach. It seems like it is harder for a beach to influence their advertising department than it is for a hotel.

As someone who loves to travel and consumes a lot of travel information, I am very aware of any potential biases. Unfortunately, there are many travel specials that end up promoting the gambling or alcohol industry, which can be disappointing for those of us who are looking for more authentic travel experiences.

One person who was able to provide a more authentic travel experience was Anthony Bourdain. Bourdain was someone who was not just interested in food, but also in the people and cultures that surrounded it. So how did TravelChannel.com treat him? At every commercial break, they warned women and children to beware of Bourdain's spicy language, but they never gave a warning about the alcohol or gambling ads that they were showing. They also tried to turn him into a circus geek by having him eat disgusting food in foreign countries. Thankfully, CNN recognized Bourdain's talent and treated him with respect, allowing him to write his own ticket and re-brand CNN as a cool network.

TravelChannel Review of Ghost Nation 2-Hour Special: Lackluster Investigation and Overhyped Team

I recently tuned in to TravelChannel.com to watch the "Ghost Nation" 2-hour special that took place in a spooky old jail. I was intrigued to see that they brought in an additional 4 investigators to help with their research! I mean, these guys are supposed to be the "best" in the business, so I was curious to see if that made a difference. However, after watching the entire 2-week long investigation, I was disappointed to only see a reveal of 2 audio clips where they guessed what was being said. Really? I know these supernatural investigations take time and effort, but to only come up with 10 seconds of information after a 2-week long investigation seems a bit lackluster, doesn't it?

I couldn't help but think about the amount of money that must go into flying this team out to these locations for what seems like very little "evidence". I mean, they've been in this business for over 20 years, surely they should have more to show for it by now! And don't even get me started on the new girl they added to the team. I mean, she has zero personality and seems more like a background character than anything else. Sorry, no offense meant, but that's just my opinion.

It's frustrating to see paranormal shows like this that have been on air for years and still act surprised by every little sound they hear. It just seems obnoxious and pathetic at this point. Honestly, I wish they would bring back the "travel" shows like the Anthony Bordain style and the Bert The Conqueror type shows. Those were actually entertaining and fun to watch!

Don't get me wrong, there are a few exceptions to this, like "Destination Fear", which takes a fun and different approach. But for the most part, I feel like the network is simply wasting time and money with these paranormal shows. It's time to mix things up a bit!

TravelChannel Review: Ghost Hunter Show Falls Short, But TravelChannel.com Is Still a Great Resource for Travelers

TravelChannel.com is a great website for all things travel-related. Its content covers a vast array of topics from worldwide events, landmarks, and even ghost hunting shows! Speaking of which, have you seen Ghost Hunter Show? It's been on TV for quite some time now and I have to say, it had a good start. It succeeded in bringing paranormal experiences into everyday conversations - which is a must since it's such an interesting topic.

However, the personal issues and bullying between members on the show were just plain cruel. It wasn't necessary and it was disappointing to see. Plus, almost every episode just seemed like they couldn't find any evidence of paranormal activity, or worse, they would just tell the spirits to "go away" and consider the job done. In contrast, the ghost hunting shows today are much better than ever. The investigators would get to the root of the haunting, and try to understand why the spirit was there in the first place. Sometimes it's not as simple as telling them to leave. There's a history behind every haunting, and these investigators make sure they raise the issue to have a solidified wall of purpose, which includes the help of prayer, priests, clergy and even demonologists.

As much as Jason Hawes claimed he was the go-to for all things paranormal on Ghost Hunter Show, he couldn't hold a candle against the newer shows where the investigations are much more nuanced. I appreciate the younger and more knowledgeable crew who've taken over paranormal shows, and they don't resort to bullying or dismissing an issue just for the sake of a TV show.

Don't get me wrong though, TravelChannel.com is still a great website, despite this older ghost hunting show not delivering. There are so many other shows to choose from nowadays, which I highly recommend. Maybe Jason Hawes should take his words of wisdom and go back to working as a plumber. Okay, I might've introduced a few grammar and spelling errors here, but I hope you still understood my point.

TravelChannel Unprofessional Move: The Cancelation of Paranormal Lockdown and the Disappointing Replacement of Ghost Bait

I honestly can't believe that you intentionally chose not to promote or advertise the start of Paranormal Lockdown, only to cancel it later! Was it because of Zak or some other idiot who didn't like Nick? Your decision was a massive mistake that cost you many viewers in the process! As for Zak's show, I feel very disgusted with his behavior, especially when he fakes evidence! The majority of his FORMER fan base knows all about that! Why would I even watch something that could really be fake? On the other hand, Nick and Katrina had a great rapport together, and their show was totally believable, with respect for the spirits they encountered. After watching some of their episodes, I decided to switch my dish package just to include your channel only to find out that you replaced their show with Ghost Bait, which is so lame! After only one episode, I already know what's going to happen next! The only two shows worth watching are Dead Files because Amy is the real deal and Kindred Spirits because they genuinely want to help people. If you mess with those shows, I will save myself some money and drop your channel altogether! You just don't take off a great show simply because of some person who doesn't like another person, not only because it's bad for business, but also because of crying out loud, act as professionals! At this point in your career, you are no longer in elementary school, so stop wasting your money on petty bull$#*! Grow up and focus on your shows!

TravelChannel What Happened to the Travel Channel? Disappointing Shift from Travel Programming to Reality Shows and Cheap Thrills

What in the world happened to the Travel Channel? It used to be the go-to channel for travel enthusiasts like me. But something has gone awry. It's as if the channel has forgotten what it's all about, which is exploring and experiencing the world. Can you believe it? I mean, you could let it simmer for a while, but it wouldn't change the fact that the Travel Channel executives seem to only care about showcasing food shows and paranormal series. It's a real shame. Prime time is now filled with shows that don't capture the essence of travel. Instead of cultural experiences and breathtaking scenery, we get a heavy dose of reality shows and cheap thrills.

Gone are the days when we could turn to the Travel Channel to learn about exotic places, hidden gems, and local cultures. No more beautiful landscapes, mountain ranges, or serene waterways. Nothing about Egypt's exquisite St. Katherine's Monastery, the stunning grace of Indonesian women, or the hustle and bustle of Mumbai's streets. And as for shrines, temples, synagogues, mosques, or churches? Forget about it. You won't find any of them. There's no telling what's happening in winter retreats in Canada and the Netherlands, and even tropical rainforests are off the list.

It's really heartbreaking because the Travel Channel used to be the epitome of vicarious living. But now? Nothing doing. Is it the channel's inability to get new hosts? Or have they lost sight of their vision? What happened to all the viewers who loved the early years of the Travel Channel? We want to go back to that era, where we could explore the world from our living rooms.

I mean, if they're looking for someone to help with their programming, they should consider me. I'm a visionary, a researcher, a show host, and a traveler. And I'm willing to do anything to help the Travel Channel get back to its roots. Enough is enough. It's time to stop crapping around and get back to what we all love - traveling and seeing the world.

Peace,

Felica Wooten Williams, PhD

TravelChannel The Decline of the Travel Channel: A Disappointing Shadow of Its Former Self

I used to really love watching the Travel Channel, especially Samantha Brown. She had a way of showing you unique places to go and how to travel without breaking the bank. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find her anywhere now, except for when she's selling her luggage on QVC or something. But back when I would leave the channel on all day Saturday and Sunday, there was always something interesting to watch about travel, which is what you would expect from the Travel Channel.

I really don't get those Expedition shows, though. They always act like they're about to discover something amazing, but it never seems to happen. And when they say "we just arrived," you can clearly see the camera showing the trucks pulling up. It all seems so fake and set up, with all the dramatic shots and camera angles. If you know anything about how real digs are done, watching those shows is just cringe-worthy.

The only thing on the Travel Channel that's worth watching these days is one of Wildman's shows. Unfortunately, he used to be on the show the whole time, but now he just walks through a set and talks for 30 seconds before it starts. But even while watching one of his shows, I saw previews for this new Jack Osbourne paranormal show, and it looks absolutely ridiculous. Are they really trying to get us to watch Ozzy Osbourne's untalented offspring trying to make some money?

I really miss the travel shows that used to be on the Travel Channel. Nowadays, it seems like they're just throwing on whatever old crap they can find, and calling it a "travel show." They might as well change the name to "We don't care, we'll throw anything on that has nothing to do with travel."

Don't even get me started on HGTV. A whole weekend of Fixer Upper? And now they're getting their own channel and doing away with DIY, which was already pretty good. It's like the corporations that own these channels are completely out of touch with what people want to watch. It's all about the money, and unfortunately, there are enough brain-dead people out there to watch this stuff.

I mean, seriously, did you see that ghost in the corner? Or the mom hanging yet another rusted bicycle and clock on the wall? It's enough to make you want to grab some popcorn and watch the train wreck unfold.

TravelChannel Inappropriate commercials during teen viewing times

I was watching the travel channel about 515 PM Central time and saw a disgusting commercial. The commercial was for an HIV drug and showed homosexual males hugging and kissing.

This time period is when young vulneravle impressionale youth are watching your programs.

I find this totally disgusting and tasteless. I understand you must air these commercials but for God sakes pick a more appropriate time.

TravelChannel TravelChannel's Overreliance on Ghost Adventures Alienates Viewers

I gotta say, I'm pretty fed up with TravelChannel at the moment. Why? Well, it seems like every time I turn on the TV, all I see is Ghost Adventures. Now, don't get me wrong, I used to like that show. But when you show it 24/7, it starts to get old pretty fast. And to make matters worse, they've even started replacing other shows with it! Like today, it was supposed to be the Dead Files, but nope, all they're showing is Ghost Adventures again.

I mean, come on TravelChannel, what gives? Who's in charge of picking these show lineups anyway? Don't you care about what your viewers actually want? It seems like you're just trying to milk this one show for all it's worth, instead of giving us a variety of programming.

I understand that Ghost Adventures might be your "cash cow," but that doesn't mean you can just ignore your audience like this. I know I'm not the only one who's tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. So, TravelChannel, if you really want to keep us as viewers, I suggest you mix things up a bit.

In the past, I used to be a big fan of TravelChannel. But now, I'm not so sure. If they keep going down this path, they might just lose me as a viewer altogether.

TravelChannel Travel Channel's Shift from Cultural Exploration to the Supernatural: A Disappointing Trend

Travel Channel is a channel for those who love to travel and explore the world. In the past, the channel was exceptional. It was full of information and was very enjoyable to watch. It offered an insight into different countries and their cultures, customs and traditions. It helped people in making travel plans and provided necessary information which was really helpful.

However, lately, the channel has changed, and not for the better. It's lost its charm and has become all about ghosts and the supernatural that are not only misleading but also not suitable for younger minds. In today's world, where there is already so much negativity around us, we don't need any more of it. If the channel has any intention of getting its ratings up, it should go back to what it used to be. A channel that people could watch and feel good about, a channel that would inspire people to venture out and explore the world instead of scaring them away.

Information given these days is completely different from before. It's immoral and Godless. It's not something that can be deemed appropriate for people looking for travel inspiration. We hope that the channel will understand the importance of constructive content and would go back to providing much-needed information. People want to learn about the world, its beauty, not just supernatural things. Travel Channel has lost its way, and it's time for them to regain what they have lost. In conclusion, if you want to make travel plans and wish to know in-depth about different countries and cultures, we suggest you look elsewhere.

TravelChannel Travel Channel Needs to Get Back on Track: A Review

Travel channel ain't like it used to be, not worth the money I spend on cable these days. They got a guy Zimmerman on there eating, like, weird stuff that no one normal would ever touch and then there's the other guy who needs to go on a diet. And don't even get me started on all them ghost shows that take over the airwaves. Like, hello, can we just get some actual travel info here? We don't need more food channels, we need real travel content! Bring back Hotel Impossible and some of the legit travel shows that took us to actual places. I mean, the only thing that used to make this channel good was Bourdain but unfortunately he's not around anymore. Please Travel Channel, clean up your act and give us back the channel we used to love.

TravelChannel Travel Channel's Lack of Variety Leaves Viewers Bored and Begging for More Scary Shows

I just have to say that I used to be a big fan of Destination America, they always played the scariest shows out there. But recently, everything got moved over to the Travel Channel, so I had to switch over too. I gotta say, I really enjoyed it at first, but now I feel like they're playing the same old stuff over and over again.

I mean, what happened to all the good stuff for Halloween? Where are my go-to shows like The Haunted, Paranormal Witness, and When Ghosts Attack? It's like they hardly ever play those shows anymore. Instead, it's just Ghost Adventures all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love Ghost Adventures, but there are so many other shows I want to see too.

Honestly, I'm getting pretty sick of the same old stuff. I miss the days when the Travel Channel felt fresh and exciting. Hopefully they'll start playing some new stuff soon, because I don't know how much longer I can keep watching the same episodes over and over again.

TravelChannel Discover the Strange and Mysterious: A Review of The TravelChannel

The TravelChannel (travelchannel.com) is a television network that has a lot to offer when you're in the mood for travel and adventure. There's a diverse range of shows available that can cater to different interests and tastes.

Initially, the channel may seem a bit misleading - it's called The Travel Channel, but the shows that are being aired nowadays mainly focus on the paranormal and the strange. However, if you give it a chance, you might be surprised by how entertaining the shows can be.

In the past, The Travel Channel was known for its shows that showcased beautiful places around the world, providing viewers with inspiration and ideas for potential travel destinations. While the current lineup of shows may not necessarily focus on travel in the traditional sense, they still have a lot to offer.

Some of the shows, such as Ghost Adventures, take you on a journey to some of the creepiest and most haunted places in the world. While this might not appeal to everyone, it certainly has a dedicated fanbase who love to watch the hosts investigate the paranormal.

Other shows like Expedition Unknown and Mysteries at the Museum, explore hidden treasures, artifacts, and relics from diverse cultures and civilizations across the globe. Watching these shows can give you an insight into different parts of history and geography.

Although the current The Travel Channel lineup might not be for everyone, it's still worth watching if you're aching for something new, different, and exciting. Who knows? You might even discover new places to visit and things to see, even if the focus isn't entirely on traditional travel.

But here's the catch: as much as great the shows may be, it would be great to see more of the traditional travel programs that made the network popular in the first place. The channel could attract a wider audience by bringing back some of those old shows, which not only offered travel inspiration but also told stories about diverse and lesser-known destinations around the world.

In conclusion, The TravelChannel is a worthwhile network to watch if you are looking for something fresh, interesting, and off-beat. While it still caters to a particular audience, it offers plenty of thrills and excitement to those who appreciate the paranormal, history, and exotic places around the world.

TravelChannel Disrespectful Discovery Channel Ads Ruin My Favorite Travel Channel Shows

I just love watching me some Travel Channel! You know, sometimes I'll switch it up and watch some Science Channel or even some Discovery Channel. But let me tell you, lately those Discovery Channel ads have been popping up on my screen DURING my favorite Travel Channel programs. It's just downright annoying, you know what I'm saying? It's like they're not respecting my time or my love for my Travel Channel shows.

I mean, I've watched the Discovery Channel in the past and it was no issue. But now, with these intrusive and disrespectful ads, I have zero desire to watch any of their channels. And I'm not just talking about the Discovery Channel, I'm talking about the Science Channel too! It's like they all think it's okay to just interrupt my programs and think I'll be cool with it.

Well, let me tell you, I ain't cool with it. I ain't gonna watch any of their channels until they start showing some respect for us viewers. TV shows may come and go, but they just made sure that their channels are long gone in my house.

TravelChannel The Osbournes Want To Believe" - A Silly and Ridiculous Show on TravelChannel.com

I got thoughts about what TravelChannel.com (TCC) is doing with their programming. I checked out this one show called "The Osbournes Want To Believe" and let me tell you, I don't know what they're thinking. After just fifteen minutes, I had to change the channel. It was so silly and ridiculous. You can barely understand what Ozzy is saying, and Sharon pretending to be scared of the paranormal clips is just not believable. On top of that, they use a lot of reruns from other shows. They might as well name the show "The Osbournes Watch Reruns". Come on TCC, you gotta do better. Nobody wants to see old rockers who are now talk show hosts. It's just boring! If I could give this show a score, I would give it a big fat ZERO! Not even worth watching. TravelChannel TravelChannel Needs to Freshen Up their Content with New Adventures and Leave Highlight Shows Behind!

I used to watch TravelChannel all the time. Ya know, I ain't got no problem with all them paranormal shows, but it seems like they're just doin' the same ol' thing all the time. And what really grinds my gears is when they do them lazy highlight shows. Ain't nobody got time for that! It's just plain lazy writin' and it gives the writers an excuse not to come up with new content. I mean, why do we need to watch the same thing over and over? It ain't that interestin' the first time around, let alone the 15th time.

I'm startin' to lose patience with all these highlight and extended episodes. If it's just pieced together footage from the regular season, then I don't even bother watchin' it anymore. It ain't worth my time. I mean come on, do we really need a 2-hour slot for an extended version of Ghost Adventurers during their hiatus? Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but this is just plain BORING.

What we need is some fresh, new content! Let's go back to travel shows and explore new, excitin' places. Enough with all these lazy, extended episodes and highlight reels. Come on, TravelChannel, you've got the resources and the potential to create some truly amazin' content! Let's see more of the world and learn about different cultures. I know I'm not the only one who feels like this. So come on TravelChannel, let's step it up!

TravelChannel Travel Channel Needs More Travel Shows: A Review

I gotta say, this Travel Channel is really missing the mark. Like, seriously, they should just change the name because there's barely anything to do with travel on there. I mean, I love watching HGTV when they go to cool places around the world to look at homes, but this channel? Not so much. I was hoping for some good travel shows, but all I see are food shows (like, c'mon, we already have The Cooking Channel and The Food Network, do we really need more?) and ghost/paranormal shows (which, let's be real, are already on other channels like SyFy).

Honestly, they just need more travel shows. It's not rocket science. Why don't they make a show called "Today we are Visiting _________ (fill in the blank)"? Show someone traveling to dope places around the world and all the cool stuff you can do and see there. Is that too much to ask? Otherwise, they might as well change the channel name because it's not living up to its potential.

TravelChannel Travel Channel's Dead Files series: Time to Call it Quits?

I am a big fan of the Travel Channel website, especially the Dead Files series. The early seasons were great, but to be honest, the latest seasons have been a bit disappointing. I've noticed that they are replaying old episodes and trying to pass them off as new ones. It's really frustrating because they add annoying tweets from random people at the bottom of the screen. I do not need to hear what every Twitter user has to say!

Amy, the psychic on the show, was cool in the early seasons, but lately, she has been more and more vague. Her favorite lines are now "this is bad bad bad" or "I've never seen THIS before!" Come on, be more creative! I am convinced I could stand there and say more creative phrases than that and I am no psychic! Also, Amy needs to relax on those facial fillers. Looking back at season 1, she has had a lot of work done, and her face looks like rubber.

All in all, it's time to drop this show from the Travel Channel. The series has been around for a while now and has had its time in the sun. Before they damage their credibility any further, they should just stop. It's getting too late to save any credibility, in my opinion.
