The cottage was freezing cold

we stayed at Chamber Knole Farm near Bakewell Derbyshire.We arrived at set time the cottage was freezing cold as the heat had just come on Not a good start as we felt it was not at all welcoming.We were cold already. It took all night to get a bit warmer and we left to oven on to heat the place. The heat came back on at about 8am again but we were so cold...

The inside of the property is lovely & has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The back of the house is impressive, but the front is a different story.
