Vons review: Credit card charge/said declined but still took the money out of my account.

I visited the Vons located in Huntington Beach today and with my purchase, I tried to pull money out of my account. The transaction was declined, so I used my Apple Pay even though there is plenty of money in my account. My apple pay was declined as well and the customer service rep at the store stated that is a "global" issue that all Vons are having with their credit card terminals. Even though everyone in front of me and after me was able to check out just fine.

I checked my bank account just in case and I was still charged to $89.84 even though it said declined. When I spoke with the manager, she stated that they were having issues and that the register does not show the charge going through even though I showed her my account and that the transaction had gone through and took the money out of my account. I was told that I had to call back tomorrow morning to speak with the bookkeeper as she was already gone for the day. Unlike others, I CANNOT just wait for my money to go back into my account. I need someone to contact me today.

The manager should have contacted corporate right then and there. This should not be my fault and I should not be penalized with my own money because of your machines not working. As stated, I need my money back today. I can't afford to wait for it to come back. Some of us don't have the privilege of waiting to speak to someone the next day and then have to wait 5-10 business days for my money to come back. Please contact me or my mom at [protected].
