Fruit, opened items, moldy cheese
I've gone to the Vons in Arcadia on ultioke occasions and have been extremely disappointed. I have lived in Arcadia for over 20 years, and did not have any issues with Pavillions, which used to be in the Vons location.
I purchased about 5 peaches and the same day I cut them open for my kids to eat, they were all rotten inside. See pictures below.
I purchased grated Parmesan cheese. I opened it the same evening, and found that there was mold in the cheese.
I purchase a bag of hostess donuts, and when I got home, the bag ended up being open and partially eaten.
I also purchased a coffee cake from the bakery, and it was stale and not fresh.
The above is just so disappointing. I want a refund on all the items listed above. I have the receipt for everything except the cheese because that was purchased on a separate occasion. Please contact me to provide a refund. [protected]@gmail.com.

I was at your Vons store at Wilshire and 14th Santa Monica, Ca. my complaint is I went to the 15 or less check out counter where a women in front of me was emptying her full basket of things way over 15 I'm mean a full baskets. When I said something to the checker Leslie, she answered not her problem if they can't read 15 items or less. So she basically the sign 15 items or less means nothing. I would think it was the checkers job to say something. I think it's time for the manager or assistant manager to give a lesson in customer service. What is the point of having a 15 or less counter. Guess where I won't be shopping anymore, and I will be telling my friends about this experience, nIts bad enough you are losing your great friendly staff now we have to put up with checkers with attitude.

Whittwood Vons on LA Forge in whittier. This is my store well run, clean, friendly folks. But on numerous occasions i have had to shop in late evening and can not get bread sliced at bakery. Okay its understandable bakery is closed. But last night I asked the MOD for help to slice nread and was told he will not because that is different union. WHAT? i can not and will not. Plus i dont know how. I said you joking right because I thought he was. No was his response.

Second time in two weeks I have gone to deli Debt. to purchase BBQ Beans, Sea Food Salad, Tuna, Caesar Salad. Twice they have had No Plastic containers to put the product in. They wanted to give me an unsealable sandwich container which obviously would spill and leak when transporting in a shopping bag, in addition to not being air tight and letting the food spoil rapidly. The overall attitude and professionalism has become Nil in the deli dept, and is getting worse. They are unorganized, slow, uncaring and speak poor English. When asking the Cashier "Isabel" to speak to a manager, she replied, "There are no managers, they are on vacation". I would like to think Someone is in charge of this store, and would hope there will be some attitude adjustment in work ethics and customer service. The 'I don't give a darn' atmosphere in this store and predominantly the Deli, is continuing to degrade and should be addressed by a manager that's not on vacation.
Rudeness of the produce worker
The produce worker named Adrienne was totally rude and offensive. His produce cart was in the way and blocking the vegetable area. When asked to move the cart, Adrienne got upset and said"you don't have to be rude" and "what is it with you" and went on and on with his offensive remarks. I did mentioned it the manger on duty but I don't know if they did anything about it.

Employees and managers are not uniformly trained and informed on laws and company policy. Why do you tolerate people that represent your company to represent it so badly? I have been harassed and even accosted by your employees. It is utterly reprehensible.
On multiple occasions now, I have been denied service of essential staple goods because I can not wear a facial covering. A facial covering is a medical device, and you can not force some one to wear one. I have civil suits pending against several of your employees. I will be suing them personally for every occasion of harassment, discrimination, and practicing medicine without a license.
It would be in your best interest to revise your store policy, remove the signs that say REQUIRED, and educate your employees about what is going to happen to them if they continue to act as little police with no authority, policing people under the color of law, which is also illegal.

Almost a year ago, I informed store manager concerning no electrical carts available. There are 2 very large Senior Mobile home parks across street and we are not able to shop at Vons. He said he would fix it. A month ago, still no working carts. Called complaint line who to store and district manager about problem. Wrong area district manager called me and not his concern. Store manager did not return my calls.Today, manager sent me a e-mail saying one cart was down and other cart is missing a motor, so no carts available. I really do not care about problems with carts, I want one working. he said he was sorry he did not respond sooner. what a terrible manager, taking close to a year to do work order. Then not returning my call for weeks and then sending me a dignostic report on shooter/ carts. He is rude, lies for close to a year and refused to take my calls.
Within this past year, there was a damaged cart that i attempted to use. cart would start then move 6 ft. The stop. I wait about 4 minutes and start for a short distance. The cart stopped in middle of main road to entrance with cars waiting, honking and other customers helping me walk to my car. NO MORE. I am so done. Never worked so hard to shop at a store. manager wins, but Von loses.

I shop at the Vons location on Telegraph Road in Ventura, CA. Today, my total grocery bill was $444 and some change. I know this, because I always watch to see the Vons card savings appear on the screen. However, for the very first time in my Vons shopping experience, I was not provided with a receipt. When I checked my credit card account online, my grocery bill was $466 and some change. I'm shocked.
Whether intentional or not, someone else's groceries seem to have gotten onto my receipt. I realize I had a large amount of groceries, but I always do and this has never happened before.
I started shopping at 6:00 a.m. and finished around 7:10 a.m. I am unfamiliar with the woman who was my checker.

My credit card did not work so I asked to waited until the clerk next to the customer service counter finished with the line of customers before asking to use the phone to determine the problem. She said it would be ok . She then had trouble remembering the code to get the outside line. She went away and came back several times - more waiting. She could not figure it out but said she would so I continued to be patient while worrying about the credit card problem that was not anticipated. Finally a manager named Michelle was around so she asked her and Michelle VERY RUDELY told me the policy is only cab calls. No other employee during the 30 minute wait said this. Also, it was a quick call and related to the purchases. I do not think she made the correct decision - she should have at the very least backed up her employee who had already said it was ok and mostly she did not need to be so ugly.

The film and stench is all over me and bought items. Btw this is during the time of a pandemic!
Not to mention the selfish dog obsessed idiots that put their prized mutts in shopping carts and let their golden child dander and fur caked mutt children shake hair on the produce and drool on the floor. Nothing is ever done about this problem!
