Vodacom Cellphone Contract

On the 13/10/2023 my application was approved and i was told that the Confirmations department was going to call me within 48 hours to verify me and then have my cell phone delivered to me. Today its Wednesday the confirmations department keeps calling me on numbers i no longer use iv tried to tell the agents at vodacom that the number they calling are no longer in service and i have a new number that i registered with and is registered under my name but no one seems to be taking me seriously at Vodacom. The number i registered with was 068 Number. This is purely unacceptable because now im sitting and still waiting for a call from the Confirmations Department and still waiting for my cell phone to be delivered. I lost all hope with Vodacom Such poor Service.

Desired outcome: I want my cellphone to be delivered and the confirmations Department should call me on the Right number instead of calling me on numbers i use to use in 2015 OR 2016. [protected]

Vodacom Phone contract upgrade

The time I made an upgrade I've been promised a R9500 voucher and the guy who helped me said it will come with the phone but come to my surprise there was no voucher there, bare in mind I've upgraded my phone on the 2nd of August, till today I'm still phoning and they keep on postponing telling telling me Month end you will get your voucher. Yazi I trusted vodacom but now I won't recommend it to people after what I went through with them

Vodacom Vodacom number deleted

I have a business account with vodacom . Due to covid and looting my business deteriorated. I have been a loyal customer of vodacom for many years. I have 6 lines with vodacom. I've been struggling to make payments but I have reduced my debt drastically. I've been making arrangements on this account but have failed to meet the deadlines but I have been making late payments. Vodacom starts billing me for current months for which I have not used services. I asked them to put account on hold until I settle previous debts. I have settled more than half my debt and now they delete my number. There's no way of me contacting subscriber collections because my number is deleted. I need these numbers urgently for my business. The day before they deleted my number I did make a payment of R2000. Now I am prepared to make another arrangement but they refuse to help me.

Desired outcome: I need to retain my cell numbers as prepaid . I wil pay an additional R2000 towards my account immediately ...thereafter I wish them to reinstate a debit order of R2000 for the 1st of every month.

Vodacom Contract cancelled [protected]

The proof of payment and cancellation was send to Vodacom

We are trying to cancel this contract and trying to convert it to pay as you go since January 2022.

Everytime a new bill and new issues arrise.

Can you please sort this out.

Vodacom Vodacom online services

Vodacom online is mistreating old people! Trying to get my fathers contract cancelled after false advertising is impossible! Now these two elderly people are sitting with a contract from vodacom online that they are desperately trying to cancel!

The customer complaints email is not responded to! The customer care line just takes the calls and tell us to follow up after 72 hours! If we request a number of a supervisor the phone is slammed down in our ears! This is disgusting service!

Desired outcome: Vodacom online contract for 083 229 3014To be cancelled, and the phones to be picked up at his home address!!!

Vodacom Network

I have been lodging multiple complaints to Vodacom company regarding their services,none of my emails were replied to. I pay Vodacom for all the services provided that i use but their services are very poor. I lost too much money because of their poor internet connection. Please help me voice out, they don't take my word serious. I even talked to their manager, she told me that even if i file a complaint to the court they won't help me with anything, they can only give me data bundles. This was very painful on my sude because i have been losing too much money because of their poor services.

Desired outcome: I would like them to fix their poor connectivity. If they can't i would like a refund of all the money i lost because of their services.

Vodacom Customer service

My husband past away and the account was on his name. I am trying to make is contract paid up and retain the number. I also want my contract paid up until I can decide what to do. I been to the Northgate Branch with the death certificate and copies of ID, Bank statements etc. They are so unhelpful giving me cancelations number which you hold on forever and don't speak to anyone. The website is so complicated you don't know where to get help.
Please help as I am a pensioner and widow. The death certificate is already loaded on the profile.

Vodacom My account has incresed substantially

My account has increased because you called me and you wanted to give a new handset without any increase. on numerous occasions

have I reported this. Promises like further investigations are also numerous, but to no avail. This happened in May already. You can check with Sandisiwe Gatyeni, Zodwa Pasiya and Patricia. Mi ref. is 002 GaJKNEY0BG6 and my no. is [protected].

Vodacom The cellular connectivity

Dear Company,

I bought Vodacom Sim on my name seven months past now, in Jhonnesburg, Boksburg, Patoria, the service was going trouble less, this is a business of communication!

The moment I moved to free states like Bultfontein the signals turned lot of negitive effecta, trust me you have a loss in customers who were using Vodacom as it was the best service provider.

The load sheading has occasionally appeareance in town but the net work I'd reported dead! The back up of sourse of electricity failure is the reason.

"Can you please take an kind attention of rectifying this petty probkem, as it's 2023 going on even here in Bultfontein!

Vodacom Vodacom network

There’s still no network at Rietspruit and we have been complaining about it. The network has been down for days now. The network issue is becoming a problem because we can’t make or receive any calls. The network tower seems to be the problem because only the people close to it have access to proper internet.

We need assistance because this is an ongoing issue and we keep complaining about it.

Vodacom Service delivery

I am an existing Vodacom customer, I have done an upgrade to a home Lte connection in August and I was totally mis lead by the Vodacom agent. I went through hell trying to get my router delivered to the correct address but heres a one for laughter, the router comes with no data, indicating that data to be loaded a month later. What am I to do with a router a month early. This is total nonsense as Vodacom consultants refused to help me after mis leading me to obtain a sale. I went through many channels to be told that I cannot be helped now. As one of the leading network providers Vodacom has lost its way. The consultants are not properly trained because half of them seem to have laid back personality to their job and servicing clients. It is unacceptable has some of us work from and require a proper connection which Vodacom is not providing because of consultants who give a damn about others except their paycheck. It is a shame to see that Vodacom has lost its way.

Vodacom Contract Cancellation

Good day

My contract for Laptop ended in June 2023. I got a call in May from Vodacom to confirm that and I was convinced to upgrade and I refused due to financial reasons. I contact them in July to cancel contract but consultant convinced me not to cance and take up data only as i already have a pocket router. The router was already blocked at the time. I was taken from pillar to post with regards to cancellation of Lap top conract stories were created. I went to Voda shop @ the Marc could get any assistance. Debit went off for both July and August. Now i requested for a statement to clarify why i am being debited. Consultant dropped call and said i must download a vodacom App. Bad Service I ever recieved from Vodacom i will not encourage anyone to do business with them.

Vodacom Migration

My cellphone contract with Vodacom was migrated without my consent. I have been receiving emails from Vodacom collections regarding an outstanding amount, but no communication was sent to me. Since May 2023 I have liaising with Vodacom and to date my dispute has not been resolved. I have also been in contact with Elite Mobile and nobody can assist. Between Vodacom and Elite Mobile I am transferred from one person to the next, have to relay the whole issue and still no resolution.

Vodacom and Elite Mobile are pathethic with their aftermarket customer service as well as their incompetent staff.

Vodacom Service -

Service - I was signed for an upgrade last year September 2022 and need proof of purchase on the phone taken Samsung A3 Core, as the phone as trouble I have been to a service centre in Umhlanga the phone got a new board installed and the problem still persist with the phne just getting pop up mesage and looses connection, cut on a call and it is reall frustrating .

All I want is proof of purchase and cannot get through no channels for good service 082135 is too busy cant wait forever tried vodacom store they cant help and rewardsco does not have any thing that am asking for

Vodacom Deducting more than what we agreed to on my contract

Good morning.

How are people experiencing Vodacom?

This is my 2nd complaint on HPeter, after I visited branches in person, various e-mails, phone calls.

I have been with Vodacom since 1998, if I remember correctly, latest 1999.

On the 3rd of March 2023 I signed a new contract at Vodacom, Mall at Reds.

I have the contract with me, on Black and white, R429-00 per month, the option that I chose. That included airtime and data. I did not choose any extra services.

My account was debited as follow:

March: R588-99;

May: R1330-86;

June: R614-99;

The reason April, no payment, I changed banking details.

I Withdrew all my money from the previous account to the new one.

I do have all the emails where they actually confirmed that the debit order details has been changed and March already went through on the new account.

Suddenly, April, they want to debit or might debit the previous account.

I received an email a day or 2 before the debit order should have been deducted, that they might still debit my previous account.

I immediately transferred money over, not enough, I transferred just enough for the debit order, the amount of the contract and bank charges.

Needless to say, deducting up till now, R614-99, my contract amount R429-00, so debit order was returned, extra bank charges I had to pay.

I do understand the double amount in May, although, it was due to negligence from Vodacom, not my side. All correspondence I have as proof.

I wrote a complaint on Hello Peter early June.

A Vodacom consultant phoned me.

Firstly, so unprofessional. Children in the background, busy with "one", for me being a woman, sounded as if she was breastfeeding. Put me on hold, so she could "settle" her baby. I remarked that it was inappropriate and unprofessional.

Then she told me, as I mentioned the wrong amount deducted, I am paying for services which I required extra.

Why would I sign a contract for R429-00? The Vodacom employee, read everything out to me. I read it through, signed on the dotted line as agreement was discussed.

Never asked for any extra services.

Then, she said, if she deducts all the services, the amount adds up to R435-00.

R6-00 more, this is not about the relative small amount, it's about the principal. I signed for R429-00.

What's the use of a signed contract then?

R6-00 extra from each Vodacom client, quite a huge extra "income" for Vodacom?

I had 3 phone calls, I told her, I should be refunded, due to the difference of the debit orders amount and the contract amount.

I received an email, case closed.

June, my debit order deducted, still R614-99.

I really think the bad service and "way" how it's been handled, is pathetic.

My friend, had an illegal SIM swop in Vodacom. His account was more than R20-000 for 2 months. Took him weeks to sort it out, numerous trips, parking expenses, inconveniences. Vodacom, said, there will be a forensic investigation, he will be informed.

It's been more than 2 years, nothing, no reply up till today.

My question now, all these services added, or additional R6-00's, if that happened in Vodacom, why do they close a case, nothing changed?

It takes time, it's inconvenient, they are paying a consultant a salary who as far as I am concerned doesn't do her job.

I need this to be rectified ASAP.

Ridiculous answers, havents paid for the last 3 years my handset, why didn't suspend services, money deducted each month.

Have tenants myself, you can't expect or take money from someone that's not on black and white.

Feel sorry for the "captain of this ship". Paying salaries for so many incompetent people. They must look at the reviews on Facebook.

I need my refund which is lawfully enforceable.

All scenarios mentioned, still have all the documentation to prove my statements.

Vodacom Attempted cancellation

My elderly Mom tried to cancel her contact and was under the impression that its been cancelled, based on the attachments. However her account was debited again and I realized she didn't follow the process to completion. On 11 Aug we went to Vodacom at Midlands Mall & was advised that the only way we could cancel the contract was by calling 082 1958. At that nr Verona explained the process to me. My Mom was mailed the quotation, but she didn't have the app to open it on her phone. I'm based in Durban and she in Howic. So I told my Mom to call the 082 1958 nr and ask them to mail the quote to me. She spoke to what she could make out to be Muchlin, it could be wrong because she is hard of hearing. He said he couldn't send the quote to me, I suppose thats a fair comment. But what irked me is that whoever she spoke to, said that to cancel her contract would be VERY expensive, but he could downgrade her. For a Samsung AO3, blue, touchscreen (do you even get any other phones than touchscreen?) so for the grand price of R479pm (her current contract is R352) he can offer her 1.2GIG of data & 400min talk time. The AO3 costs R1700 outright. How do these people even sleep at night if they prey on old people like that ? Thinking they're stupid. My Mom was roped into taking the contract in the first place by a telemarketer. The reason I want to port my Mom to Mtn is because her data just vanishes. I've seen it with my own eyes.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology addressed to my Mom at [protected] and an email to myself at [protected]@gmail.com. And to waiver the penalty for premature cancellation, which is if I understand it correctly one months' subscription.
