I have only been on Vinted for around a week and have sold second hand and new items that I have purchased myself and want to get rid of. I have bought some items on the app too, using some of the money I have made via selling items on Vinted. I have opened my account today which says I have been blocked due to suspicious financial activity. I have absolutely no idea what I have done wrong. I had not yet withdrawn any money from my Vinted account and I have only sold some items and purchased some items during my short time on the app, there is no reason at all for me to be blocked due to the reason they are stating. I have read online to see that there are thousands of people in the same predicament as myself and I am now quite worried about the money that is still pending in my account. I have been unable to contact any of the buyers that have purchased my items and we're waiting for the dispatch of their goods. There is no justification as to why I have been blocked for this reason and have read online that no one has received a response from their ''customer support team'' as due to my experience when trying to access my account previously when I was unable to log in, it was completely non-existent and I only received automated responses via email via a bot. I am genuinely worried about the rest of my money in my account and can see from the reviews that I am far from the only one this has happened to. I believe Vinted needs to be looked into for this reason, they have no grounds to block my account has I have not even made a withdrawal until this morning of my available balance when I realised i had been blocked.

Desired outcome: I would like my account re-instated and also my pending money to become available to withdraw from my account. I would also like them investigated.

I have the same problem vinted Has flagged me out saying? You have a problem with your financial activity just know They are asked me to give them some information regarding the account which I have given it to them. Hopefully they ll get back to me as soon as possible. And I am sure it's the mistake in their side. I have not committed no fraud.

I bought a t-shirt on Vinted which didn't fit me. I relisted it the following day only to be blocked and told that the item was fake. They terminated my account and said I had violated their rules.

Clearly they violated their own rules by letting someone else sell the item on Vinted. Why wasn't the original seller vetted like me and blocked from selling the item?

I now have a t-shirt which is fake and doesn't fit me. It has cost me my money and I am now blocked from Vinted. This a complete injustice on my behalf.

People, stop using Vinted, they are an unfair company!

I am going through exactly the same situation as you! Bought shoes, didn’t fit so relisted them and have been permanently blocked for counterfeit goods! I can’t seem to get anywhere with getting my account reinstated. I’ve only ever bought through here until now. This was my very first listing. Said it was counterfeit as I didn’t have a receipt as proof of purchase! I’d bought it through Vinted…. I’ve been made to feel like a criminal. So unfair. They also said this was my “second offence” absolutely no idea what else I’m supposed to have done. There’s just no customer service at all.

I’m having the same issue blocked account and will not let me access my funds, each time I try and contact I get an automated response. The company needs to be investigated, I am sure they are breaking the law

Exactly the same situation here. I opened the app to leave positive feedback on a jacket I bought, and it said fraudulent activity! I couldn’t believe it. I have been on the app for over 6 months and bought/sold many pre-loved clothes.

I contacted Vinted and was told on review they are still banning me - signing off “Good luck!”.

It’s clearly an error with their system, but their lack of customer service is intentional. As I said to them, if they wish to run their company so deplorably that’s their prerogative.

Great concept, terrible company.

I was blocked fir no reason.

Only been with Vinted 6 weeks.

They blocked me after 10 days, permanently they said, then after numerous messages to try to find out why I was blocked, and many algorithms Vinted replied with, they decided to apologize and reopened my account.

Two days ago, they permanently blocked me again, when all I did was buying on the platform, never sold anything!

They are an absolute disgrace! They pick and choose who to ban! They will be facing a big downfall before long
