United Education Institute [UEI] review: Suing 88

Just wanted to know how and what was resolved ? I am being harassed by them multiple times a day via calls emails and text . This school was one of my biggest mistakes .

Please include myself as well. I have a different perspective because I was employed by International Education Corporation/ UEI College Mesa Campus very recently. The entire job was a fraud & now I'm unemployed with little money. I have documentation I'm willing to share privately with the right person.

This school is a joke and I feel I did not get the education I deserve I’m surprised I gone this far and gonna graduate I have been in the field and mostly the basics I have learned however some instructors have been very unprofessional and prejudice name is raul rascon this instructor has poor skills in insults people belittles students and also I had to skip a module because of his actions so not we in February and graduate this Month I would of been done January however and never learned anything also tools and materials we didn't have majority of labs so I feel this school was to take our money and just use it for there usage when students did not have materials and they use pathetic Granger companies that are worthless to get materials when reality home depot has the materials and cheaper to spend this of this nature has put our education in jeopardy so in conclusion I’m not the only one going to put a complaint I want this school to take the tuition and they pay for it for there unprofessionalism and have text that stating I need to come back to school badgering text messages from a assistant director wow seriously I wanted to take HVAC I’m going somewhere else.

I also want to sue this school. All my hard work for nothing just to be robbed. My credit scored sucks and I am in debt bc of this thief! Help someone please

If the lawsuit is still going on, please contact me ASAP, I attended there Jacksonville, FL location in 2011 for Medical Asst. and the lost their accreditation in [protected] I never received my diploma due to employees in the "extern office" stated that because they lost their accreditation, they could not give me my diploma after completing my extern hours. Years later I found out that this had been a lie, because I had been enrolled and attending classes while they had their accreditation, I was eligible to receive my diploma. No matter when I completed my extern hours. So, when I learned this, I found out the Jax, FL school had closed so I contacted the main administration office in CA, well they told me I waited to many years, and they couldn't issue me my diploma. All they had to do was pull up my school transcripts and I could easily email them my W2 from the employer (doctor's office) I worked for in 2012 and saw that I completed way more hours than they needed to cover my extern hours. Nope they didn't do that! They said sorry not our fault we don't owe you anything, just make sure you pay your student loans. It was their campus, their employees that screwed up not me I faxed my paycheck stubs with my hours to that office and they just threw it away. I called them as well to confirm that it was received and that's when the whole mess started but they did tell me they had gotten them. So UEI I'm owed a diploma I completed everything it's your staff's responsibility to keep track of the hours turned in not mine or any other students.

Went to this school for two semesters and passed a couple of the semesters with a what is was humiliated in for Peers by one of the teachers and left the school. They returned last year and signed in with another teacher with different scheduling hours. I still attend to the school while being in a homeless shelter, when on Covid lockdown and now stuck with this humongous bill also weird things were on the computers which I screenshot at the school location in Huntington Park in Los Angeles California while being in a shelter a worker at a shelter I believe just got rid of my clothes, the tablet etc. now I am still in a shelter with this enormous bill bad credit and identity fraud

Let’s start off by this photo. I was there for only 4 weeks. On the fourth week I told them “I can’t be here no more because you guys don’t even have a instructor teaching us. And our training videos are mostly from YouTube.

My son currently goes to this school and I am so confused about everything. When you sign up they make everything sound so great and of course the student is excited about the training. But once you signed on the dotted line. It's a whole lot of mess. I can not understand why my son have to pay 75$ while in school and he have not graduated. My impression is that he would start payment 3 or 6 months afterwards not while in school this is absurd and this is a burden! It's crazy how they say you can be 18 grown and be held accountable for anything you do, but then when it comes to these loans now the parent can be apart of your life and have a say so. 🤦🏽‍♀️. You know why to save their buts to make sure they get your money. This is unheard of to pay while in training and the $75 he's paying is not even from Fedloan. It's from.some other company. Something is not right and I am really upset about it. I didnt want to go this route with complaining, but something doesn't even add up. Where are the scholarships they claim are available or grants for that reason. they don't highly recommend that, but they will magnifiy the loans. If you ask me it is all a set up for debt! Period..And I hate I introduced my son to this. One thing I know for sure I trust God is going to turn this around. And for the ones who was not honest about this. They will reap what they sow. This is a rip off. To be educated is not about us or our children being educated they don't care about that. It's sad to say, but it is all about the money. Greed and power is what this is all about and this is why our children are in debt even with a job. Smh! UEI has disappointed me with this one. My son had only been in training a little over 2 months and he already has a burden. Paying while in training. I am definitely going to check on this. This must make sense because right now it doesn't and my name is on this nonsense too! So my advice to anyone that is reading this. Do not sign on the dotted line if you don't have.peace! Period. My son signed out of excitement. I was leary from the beginning, but wanting to support my son. And the instructor's need to stop telling these kids they can make these figures when they graduate. Getting their hopes up and pumping their heads up to make them stay in the training. These individuals are trying to be educated and survive. So of course when you talk about money. THEY WILL BE EAGAR TO PUSH FORWARD. Don't give them false hope and dreams if thats not of truth. Be honest about it and stop lying UEI! Real talk! I am upset about this.$75 while in school. After 10+ years that I graduated from this school, and paying 15K worth of education, I find myself forced to need their assistance obtaining transcripts for college. I've been emailing them, calling and paid $75 and all I get is ignored by the person who handles transcripts.

The funny part is that I called so much that now they revise their voice mail and make it easier to leave messages that no one will ever return. I about to reach out to a lawyer because I feel this school loves playing with students emotions, and this is starting to cost me stress. Does anyone have a recommendation to a lawyer with UEI experience before?

I love how UEIGEEK, is obviously someone who work for UEI. That school is a scam. I had the computer technician class. We were being taught nothing. They literally had us copy everything from a book. Our teacher, Gerry Fisher, would literally spend most of the day talking about life, and joking around. We learned nothing valuable, or viable. Everything was outdated. I want to take this to court. I went to UEI 12 years ago I went after dropping out of high school because I got pregnant and was a single mother I owe over 14, 000 they never helped me find a job they didn't even help me with the externship site I had to look for it myself I was lied to they told me I could be enrolled without a high school diploma I still don't understand how they did that. I took the business administrative program I paid 14 k so they can teach me how to use Microsoft programs and other things I had learned in high school

I am a student graduate of 2009 for UEI College. I decided to take the CST - Computer Systems Technician program without realizing the consequences for that action which ended up being the worse mistake of my life. First of all, the certificate I got for graduating is worth LESS than a certification from CompTIA A+. I spend 9 months studying and preparing for a certificate and I'm not qualified to work in the IT field unless I am certified. They could have just told me save your 10k plus $ and study for the CompTIA A+. I wish someone would have told me that. Basically created something out of their [censored] and put a price tag on it. Useless certificate and a debt that follows you for life. Put that on a TV screen why don't you.

I went to UEI in Huntington Park in 1998 and took the Medical Assistant course and had to take a loan out for a giganourmeous amount of money in which the the loan has been transferred to Great Lakes at 25, 000 with interest going up daily I didn't get a job in the field and is there anything that can be done at this point as for a lawsuit being that i missed the lawsuit deadline for California anyone with any information can email me at mstracy562@gmail.com

My name Jessica I too was scammed by UEI in HP almost 15 years ago I finished my MA class after about 9 months. After finishing I called the office to ask for my diploma but of course no one was available I called about 12 times with never getting a response. I applied at several places but never was able to show my certificate of completion or my MA diploma. But my monthly calls about my payment never stopped. Finally I got a hold of some one and they said to receive my diploma I had to be up to date on my payments . So I had to settle with warehouse work after going to a so called college. When I did my taxes 3 years in a row they've took them luckily I only owe 2, 200 dollars now still with no diploma to show ! Sign me up I'm still struggling and am in debt from 2003 2004 from attending UEI... as for job services I was hired at UEI and let go a couple of months later... and have never been able to be placed back in my field and they closed my campus while I was in school... chrisfrantz2013@gmail.com please rid me of this mistake and debt that haunts me...

this school is a joke both me and my older sister attended the Huntington park campus and completed the course with 4.0 gpa's and were never helped in finding any job leads, not only that but we have not received our certificates for completing the course. whenever we call no one is available, but yet they do call constantly regarding the monthly payments! Not that long ago I tried contacting them trying to make different payment plans but was not helped in any way and was answered to in a disrespectful way.

This school is a scam I have had a horrible experience at the UEI at Gardena and i regret going to the school to begin with. I attended the school while i was pregnant and was forced to take my last test while having contractions or I would have had to redo the whole Medical Billing Program. So i did that and i had my daughter almost 2 weeks later not only that but i was forced to start my externship while having contractions also or i would have been dropped from the program. I am willing to join in and tell my story to anyone that is willing to listen because i do have a story to tell and its unfortuante that i completed the course and was still dropped at the end because i could not return to complete my externship. This school is a complete scam. I just graduated from there and I have never seen a more unorganized place in my life. The advisers are never around to be found, Teachers are never there or decide to not show up and we get stuck with sorry subs that have no clue what they are doing or how to teach.

I wish I would go back and take the 8 months I was there and go to another school, this school is a complete joke. They say that they well find you a job with in the first month of graduating, well to be honest, I have been two months out and have been sent on multiple failed interviews that where way more advance than what I knew... They are suppose to be putting you in jobs that you qualify for, not ones that are going to make you look like an idiot.
