I used to order TS 2-3 times a week with the old app because it was so convenient. The new app doesn’t allow in store payment and attempting to order through it is an absolute hassle because it never saves my payment information. Just deleted the new app off my phone because I barely order from TS anymore due to the loss of convenience. I’ve never left an app review before but felt compelled because of what an abysmal failure this new app is.

Why are you not allowed to order an extra ingredient to whatever smoothie or meal you order? If I order a Bahama Mama the app doesn’t allow me to add extra strawberries or extra pineapples or whatever extra I want. You can add everything else but not the ingredients which make up the smoothie. I have to order through the app then call the store to add something to my order which defeats the entire purpose of ordering through the app... Please Updated!

I was excited at first when the new app came out because I thought they might allow me to finally order on the app, making substitutions. Not only does it still NOT allow this, it now doesn’t allow payment through the app. I always have paid with the app and now I keep leaving my other payments in the car and have go back out and get it. Why take away something good? Please bring back app pay capabilities and allow item substitutions when ordering through the app!

Biggest reason I was going to tropical smoothie was the convenience of the app, this app is complete garbage. First of all it won’t let me switch over my rewards from the previous app, second, the customization is not as good as the old app, third, it doesn’t save old orders for when I want to reorder stuff. Did you guys even test this new app before pushing it out and screwing everyone over with it!? Obviously I’m not the only one? Look at everyone’s reviews!

I don’t know what the trend is to redo apps that work and turn them into crap. I don’t leave reviews but congrats...this app is so miserable that I had to comment. First...it can’t simply find your old information. Second...it can’t find stores near you if you don’t have the same zip code as the store (I have two less than 5 miles from me...couldn’t find either one when I put in my zip code). Third...it doesn’t let you customize drinks like you used to be able to. What a waste.

What is the purpose of having an app to order on if you can’t make modifications to say…add a different fruit to your smoothie? I like the sunrise sunset but I don’t like strawberries so I like to substitute the strawberry for pineapple or mango however you can NOT do this on the app! Really sad . So you indicated that I can substitute but unfortunately I get charged for and additional item instead of it being replaced….Tropical Smoothie and Panera get with it. I’m not stupid

I’ve never written a review but this time it’s needed. The upgraded app is an actual huge down grade! Don’t do it unless you have to. It uses a lot more data. Also, I can’t even get the app to work because it won’t let me even select a location. You can’t look at menu item details anymore. The customizations are very limited. I wish you could type comments for a customized ordering experience. Now I can only order online and not on the app itself since I can’t select a location on the new app. This is a bad, poorly made design of an app.

Whoever made this app, you need to find a way to let me add credit card info without forcing me to order something. Now I accidentally made an uncancelable delivery order when trying to add my card info, because I thought it’ll take me to a confirm order screen after putting in my card info. Now the order went through and there’s no way to call the store to cancel it, because the answering machine keeps saying that their inbox is full.

Also don’t know why you can’t add ApplePay to the app, since Doordash has that option, and I could even order Tropical Smoothie items from that. Even the restaurant itself has ApplePay.

I was forced to upgrade via the previous app (which was working perfectly fine) and lost all my status and reward. In when attempting to log in using the same info I used on the previous app I was told my account didn't exist and a new one was created. Which makes no sense because I still have purchase confirmation details from my purchases earlier this week. This app doesn't even have the same capabilities as the previous app which makes it less functional for me. Part of the reason I kept coming back was because of the rewards. But now I will just make my own smoothies at home.

Sorry but I have to leave unless someone resolved this issue quickly.

Ordered on line for delivery, didn't receive, called store, no resolution and no refund for my over $20 order. No one at the store knew how the app worked or how to claim a refund. I had ordered 2 days before and it was really prompt. 2days later, they say they don't have delivery. I am not saying I won't go back. I love the smoothies, but I won't go as often. And the manager nor who ever manages the app...neither returned my call or email. I am just bummed because I am a healthcare worker and it used to be so exciting and happy to go. Now I am just sad about it. Definitely won't be ordering there for lunches with the crew, be cause I would have a riot on my hands.

I have been trying for weeks to order delivery on the app but every-time I click it , the screen goes white. The online website as-well is not working for delivery and I have tried the contact us form on the app but they just said its the new update and they are working on ways to fix it. It has been three weeks this should be fixed!

I sent again another contact to receive the same response “ Yikes! We're sorry everything didn't go as smoothly as we expected upgrading to our new app. Our teams are focused on working out the kinks so we can provide you an even better app experience. Thanks for hanging in there with us and letting us know what happened so we can pinpoint these issues and resolve them as quickly as possible. “
